You need to understand that the market always goes up and down. That is why I never feel stress when I see the price of bitcoin drop.

yep thats it. everyone is not stress at all because we already know that that is the nature of cryptos , including bitcoin.

however i must confess that i love checking the price more often and that gives me a good feeling whenever i see that most of my holdings are on green. but if ever i got stress due to being unlucky or wrong decisions made when trading a crypto , i do only accept it ( i only accept the fact that i did loose and i just started to move on immediately) . thats what i usually do in order to cope up with the stress.

They way I deal wit it is when I am at a loss, I don't even look for days. Most crashes take a few weeks to recover. Just put it away and live your life. Think of it a sa long term thing.

how often do you check BTC price and how to cope with stress associated with this?  I am checking it every few hours and it drives me crazy and makes me anxious. Is there anybody in a similar situation and how do you cope with this?

PS: I was trying to do this once a month, but I think, I missed the beginning of the bear market in January this year because of this.

Thanks,
Mike
I installed an app on my smartphone where it shows bitcoin prices on my homescreen, in other words I often see the btc price, even though I'm not so stressed, maybe because I do not see the whole crypto market, there are some crypto coins that I hold and in making the analysis I also do not often use the value of btc. when I'm stressed I just hear my favorite song and sleep, I also sometimes go to look for new atmosphere either to the beach or to the mountains so that the mood is always good.

Usually after buying it, I will set alerts to inform me via sms if there are any major movements, otherwise I will try to not look for one month.
Sometimes big news happens regarding bitcoin and I will check the price out to ensure everything is ok.

almost every time I check the market price, especially bitcoin in a few hours of decline and the increase always happens even though in the end the price back down quite disappointing but I still hope the price will get better for any reason and I will continue to invest in bitcoin.

So far 2 a days is OK. But when the market goes too crazy, I can check the price every spare minute. And it really drives me mad...
As for managing the stress, tlking to non-crypto dudes helps. They don't understand my problems, I don't understand theirs. Perfect!

I check it as often as it comes to my mind to check. I can even check it about twenty times in a day or more than that, and I check it everyday (except when I don’t remember to do so. And it’s always good to be checking the price of Bitcoin regularly so you don’t miss a thing, you never know when things happen, so it’s good to be at alert.

I check bitcoin prices every day and usually in the morning. If I see bitcoin prices and crypto market drop, I will go fishing to deal with stress.

Just don't put more than you can afford to lose with a smile. Or cash out some if it makes things that bad. Doesn't makes sense to check it every hour.

If you are hodling your coins, it is better not to check price frequently. Instant movements on price may cause to sell early. I am usually check my portfolio every week-end then close the screen and keep dreaming Smiley
I have long given up my investment in Bitcoin and today I do not care about the price of Bitcoin. But nevertheless, I realize that it is the price of Bitcoin that greatly influences the crypto-currency market.

I check barely now, i used to check the price every single min in jan and feb but now i have realised that seeing the price daily wouldn't make any difference and it's not like if i watch it the price is suddenly going to increase. Now all i do is wait for that one moment when i can start trading again and make profit

I usually check btc price once or twice daily. It is very stressful to check bitcoin price often. I avoid checking btc price, as it is not required.
I check the price once a day and sometimes late at night. Because in the morning I calculate the profit and loss in my investment and sometimes at night. If you have invested for long time there is no need to check the price daily or many times in a single day because by this way you will increase your headache and nothing else. Leaving for some time is good to cope with stress.

I check it several times a day. Monitoring the market constantly, I manage to create my own graphs of the cryptocurrencies prices. I cannot say that I am depressed when the price of the crypto is falling.

How often? I can't count how many times but let me give you an idea how I check the price of Bitcoins.

On my smartphone I downloaded Blockfolio to check how my bags are doing and every time I hold my smartphone I think I dont miss to hit the icon of Blockfolio.

In my office I have a desktop computer and once I open Google Chrome it will open 4 sites, our company website, my private email, Cryptocompare (where I entered all my Crypto assets to check if its up or down) and Preeve.

I have my laptop with me so I can check my work email even on the run or at home. The Google Chrome settings are the same, it opens to the 4 sites I mentioned above.

Yap it is now so easy to know bitcoin price in real time as we wish, we can set the updating time of the application to give us the updated price of bitcoin with a notification or even an alarm. So checking manually is not even recommended anymore as it takes more time to do it. I'm using local exchange application to check bitcoin price as it is showing the price in local fiat as well so I do not need to calculate Smiley. Regarding how often, I set the application to give a notification every 15minutes which is enough for me to help me for trading purpose.

Twice every day. It's not healthy to check it 10times a day. Your mind needs rest from that bs. Anyway for me BTC is a long-term investment so even if I don't check the price all day, which is highly unlikely, it's not of a big deal.

I always monitor the value of bitcoin everyday before and you are right, everytime I see bitcoin's value keeps crashing down made me panic and feel stress. But I realized cryptocurrency market value is unpredictable so I have nothing to do now than just wait for the right time to achieve my goal and gain enough profit for my investment.
At the moment I have always checked the market everytime I have my free time because of course I wanted to become updated and a lot of knowledge about the current situation of the cryptocurrencies. This was so unpredictable that's why I didn't dare myself to make any predictions about cryptocurrency market.

About once a week to test the bitcoin price and crypto market. But recently I did not test the bitcoin price when the bitcoin price dropped to $ 6200. Maybe I will check bitcoin prices in December

if you have an investment which is the reason why you always check the price everytime .Then i suggest to stay away from it,  'cause that is the common reason why some holders here in crypto world always
To cope with stress is only for patience people because it is crypto market and emotional people have nothing in this world. Checking price is no problem. Those people also check the price that has no investment in bitcoin. The matter is to hold your coins in this time and for this you will need patience and the best way is to forget about your holding for some time.
