Everyone who works actively with different coins, at least once a day, uses the website of coinmarketcap. Now there are many alternative sites.
I rarely do it, maybe now only a few times a month, because I'm too busy working. and I only monitor coins from blockfolio applications or from telegram bots
For me it has been nearly everyday once for years now. 
What does it bring the feeling to you? I also had the period time like you when watching continuosly the price of coins which I were holding and it made me be quite stress and can't focus on other works
If I buy and hold a token, I will check coinmarketcap every day. Because I will not miss the opportunity when the token that I bought the price goes up.
I also do, as probably most people, if you bought a coin, then you need to monitor its price constantly, especially if the market begins to move actively, you can not miss your profit
On the average, I usually check the coinmarket cap once a day. Its actually a good indicator whether a certain coin is performing good in the market. Its also give you an idea on what crypto are good to buy and sell at the moment. It also shows the best and top 100 crypto out there. But take note that not all crypto are listed in the coinmarket cap website so don't be surprise if you don't see your token in the website.
Not necessarily the CMC website everyday but do check some apps that keep tabs on the coins I have at the moment.

I used to do it every day, but now there is no need, I put a plugin for Google Chrome and coins are always in front of my eyes. Am I crazy?

I am also like this. Every day after I get up, I will open my computer and check the market information of the cryptocurrency.
well for me, minimum of thrice a day. It looks like funny but it is reality because, I want to see the market price how this cap changes for a day or a minute. Because when i found that btc or the market price got a high value, I will sell my token or exchange it for my daily needs and for my debts.
i will check it 4 to 5 times a day. i think this is very bad. it will put me in an anxious state. if we don't do day trading, we'd better check it once every 2 to 3 days.
Just always I do these actions and it is hard for me to stop doing that. I hope soon everything will be changed for me and I will stop constantly checking this website!
Checking coinmarketcap site is just like a daily doses for me, i'm checking it daily, even more than 10 times in a single day.
The reason is just for checking the price and viewing the market condition, but i also doing the same in Blockpolio app.

Well, now it is not often when the market was in growth then watched every day , and now once a week just checking the capitalization , as the market is not really changing now
CoinMarketCap - The most popular place for all of us. I think I watch this site many times a day. What would follow the course of their coins. Well, the site has no competitors. In my opinion.
In 2017, I checked almost every half hour, and now once a week, and even less often, I somehow don’t even look at this redness.
I very rarely use this site now. At the moment I am not looking for any new coins for investment. I used to use this site often.

That is the same things that i've done, I am always tried to check the coins price in market cap to know about the development of the crypto market, especially on the coins that i had in my wallet. 
I am everyday look at CMC, its very usefull, i am control the situation of market conditio in one web site.
