Nowadays I rarely gamble, I have many priorities for more important and important things. Although, I can't forget this gambling because it still helps me in other things.
So I still play from time to time. But I don't let myself become an addict in the end.

Because I know that when I feel that greediness is approaching in my mind, I take care of it immediately because I know that it will not give me a good effect,
but it will harm me.

I noticed that if I start making many bets in one day (usually on weekends), then I lose more often, if once or twice a week, then the results are better, maybe because I choose the bet more carefully.

How does this happen for you?
If that's the case then you realize that gambling is not a place to make money consistently and I would like to know what you think about gambling? Oddly enough you even make a lot of bets that basically almost lose all bets and why do you still insist on betting just to chase victory. I am more interested in betting when conditions are more stable and usually only place bets in smaller amounts.

For now I can still be responsible for the gambling that I do because I don't force myself to bet if I don't have a bigger budget. It is difficult to limit yourself from getting involved in gambling, but at least we can be more responsible so as not to lose a lot of money.

But at least, it might not be a problem when they have a budget to gamble and then they gamble every day. Because I think, the problem is when they don't have a budget and gamble with the money that is required and or targeted to win, then it will be a problem for their finances, of course. Thus, at least I personally also always put a budget for gambling, and when the budget runs out then I will stop gambling, but if the budget is always available in my balance, then I can also gamble every day. But, because I have a special budget then when I lose, at least I will still be okay even though when I get a defeat it will still have disappointment too.

When you set a target then you will definitely know what you want, gambling every day like placing several bets every day or having open slip as many as possible doesn't guaranteed your success, and also doesn't mean you will keep winning. The fact is, you need to make amount that you will used to gamble so that when that amount is exhausted you wouldn't be that loss to go alter any further money from your ends to gamble with it anymore, because when you keep opening bets and leaving a running you will always ends up making a haste analysis where you would know what you are doing, the best is take a break and choose days you will be gambling within the weekly days to avoid you gambling without control otherwise it will quickly results to addiction.

I usually feel more relaxed and comfortable to gamble over the weekends and it is gradually becoming part of me, I don't usually pay much attention to gambling on other days except weekends, it gives  me joy because it is weekend were I don't go to work or worry about work pressures and by so doing it limit my gambling activities  the time, and resources I spend on gambling, it makes me to keep in check and tracks of my gambling behaviors, it is best to gamble when your mind is very free, we shouldn't force ourselves to gamble, sticking to what will work best for you is my advice to anyone in to gambling.

In simple terms I might say that you have a good approach and mindset towards gambling, my friend, such as limiting your time on gambling and only gambling when you are on the weekend, but on the other hand I would also say that even though you feel that so far you have a full approach with limits but you still really need to maintain a level of awareness within yourself that gambling is an activity that can potentially have a bad impact on your life.

One of the reasons why I say this is because often gamblers experience an unconscious change in their approach to gambling where they originally thought they had a full approach with limits but over time they became more impulsive without realizing it, and another thing is yes I like your last idea that gambling should be done when your mind is calm.

Remember one thing that when money or winning is your priority then it is very unlikely for you to feel satisfied when gambling even if for example at certain times you manage to win and that is why gamblers always find it difficult to ignore greed.
When you can say to yourself that you are playing gambling just to have fun and strict to yourself, you will limits your gambling activity and will not use too much money. You will realize that gambling can makes you deeper without you notice and can makes you addicted to gambling easily.
Limiting gambling activities must be your attention when playing gambling because many people lose their money when they lose control over themselves. They can not playing gambling too often if them can not control themselves because that can makes them lose more and money.
Winning from gambling is uncertainty so when you realize about that, you will not trying to gambling so hard and only wants to enjoy your free time.

I think someone could tell themselves that they should treat gambling as a place to have fun, but the problem is that in the end it is always a bunch of bullshit, meaning that they say that from the start but in the end when they are gambling greed is always a hard act to ignore and also responsibility and discipline are always hard to implement, meaning the idea of being responsible can be just bullshit.

One thing I will say is that a gambler must really realize first and foremost that gambling is an activity that can have a potential negative impact on his life if done in the wrong way or approach.

There's no right or wrong answer here. The truth is, the more free time you have, the more likely you are to fall into the loop of spending more time than you should.
Yup. I second this. To me, the best time to gamble is only your free time. Don’t try to make space for gambling if you really are busy as you will most likely just get stressed. I usually do not bet on sports events I know I am most likely to miss and I might not do a very good job of assessing the match.

Even if I have a lot of free time, I also would not use all of it just gambling. It’s not healthy as well to focus so much on gambling and forget about many things in life like hobbies & family.
I agree with you, it is indeed better to gamble when we have free time, if we don't have free time, then we should not force ourselves to take the time to gamble because what you said is true, it can make us stressed, especially with the results that are indeed possible, it will only make us lose because the player's chances of winning are smaller than the chances of winning owned by the host. We must be able to divide our time and distinguish between important and not so important things, for example when we have a lot of free time but we have a family, then the priority is family, not prioritizing gambling. In addition, what is right in my opinion is to gamble only occasionally, maybe once a week or once a month.

I gamble more than often but have no regular schedule. Some time even fight with the wild inner desire to gamble in the course if my common working days. Any way my common gambling days are Saturday and Sunday and in my case everything is opposite to yours  because I win more than often on weekends.  Nevertheless I try to not devastate my nights as I lose more often at  nights, days are more profitable for me.
The same that I myself focus more on betting on this match does not take up much time, it is more appropriate to bet while watching the match, if this refers to slot games, I will not dare to play during work time, this will interfere with other normal activities due to gambling.
You've gambled during the day with more distraction while I prefer to gamble at night because of the silence.

-snip-

Back to the OP's question, although I think that I'm good at seeing the big picture when it comes to my domestic economy and, therefore, I spend on auto-pilot (I mean, I intuitively know if I should buy something or not, according to my balance), I like to plan my gambling activity to some extent. The virtue is in the balance.

According to that, I set a fix amount every month to play lotteries, for example. If I spend that money too early in the month, I have to wait until the next one, so I try to spread my bets all over the month in order to keep the hope and stay dreaming with a dear life as long as possible for the same money.
-snip- In terms of gambling, I do have a plan in mind, but there are cases I've exceeded it, such as the Euro 2024 championship in the summer. I'm curious though, you said that if you spend your money too early, you won't gamble for the rest of the month, how well do you stick to that plan? Personally, there are times that I've spent more than I was anticipating, but I'll place a small bet or two if it's the weekend.

Please, note that in my previous post I was only referring to lotteries as the best example of my planning. But I'm flexible to some extent too, and I buy special tickets in certain seasons of the year, or bet a little more on sports when my preferred team plays an important match.

So, in my case, planning on beforehand an important part and improvising the rest works well. One must know himself right and choose the best strategy according to his self-control.

Free time does not mean that you have to spend all your time gambling, but it is not bad to spend some time in free time. If free time is available weekly or monthly for two days, then if that free time can go somewhere far away with family members for a picnic or a long drive, mentally people are healthy. If someone devotes all his free time to gambling after spending long hours at work, he will become mentally weak and will not be able to concentrate on his work later. Therefore, I think it is more reasonable to divide the leisure time into several parts and spend part of it on gambling and the rest of it with family members.

It all depends on how the player feels about gambling, if it's just a bet before the match to make it more interesting to watch, then it won't take up much of the player's time and he will be able to spend his free time as he wishes, with his family, or doing something else, hobbies can be different.

But if gambling is perceived as an additional source of income, then it will definitely require much more of his time, because he will spend time analyzing matches and choosing a bet. And the bet amount will most likely be higher so that the winnings are more noticeable. Even if the player does not bet often, once a week, then the rest of the time he can study the teams and choose a bet, this can also be spent a lot of time.

Free time are to be spent on things that we enjoy doing and for some people, gambling is what they enjoy doing. They are not doing it because they want to make money but because they want to have fun. Nobody should spend all their free time gambling though but you should spend most if it doing the things you love the most. If going on vacation or going to visit some specific places like the beach is what you love to do then do it. Spending time with family and friends is also a good way to spend your free time and more fun when your family or friends are gamblers too then you guys spend time together gambling just for the fun of it while being very careful to avoid too much losses. Gambling can be an enjoyable activity and not all negative all the time.

The point is to find out whether success in gambling depends on how often we gamble. Maybe it makes sense to separate betting and slots, because in the second case we only need money, some free time and luck, and in the case of bets, some players spend a lot of time deciding on a bet, or bets, if there are several. Then you need to wait for the result when the events are over, this seems like a more difficult task.

This raises the question, what is the best way to act if you make many bets every day, can this negatively affect the result, is it better to make several bets a week, or once a week, share your experience, which approach works better for you?

I don't like gambling all the time, maybe once or twice in a week, and that's even on the weekends, I derive fun and pleasure but gambling isn't the only things I do for fun and to say the fact gambling is the last on the list, I guess that's because it requires money.

How often you gamble depends on who you truly are, it is a must to win for some and it is not a must to win for few, I am one of the few, I've learned that winning from gambling is very uncertain so I don't do gambling unless I want the fun out of the games.

It is also beneficial for gamblers to limit their gambling activities, too much exposure to gambling is bad, decision making while gambling will be harder if you are too exposed.

Self discipline and setting out limits should really be the key on which there's no way that you would really be messing up your life if you are really just that sensible into the actions that you are taking and not really just that basically spending up too much or go beyond your limits.
People do really just that being that too hopeful that they can make money with gambling and having those kind of assumptions that they could win up on a constant manner. On the time or moment that it do happens
then this is where people do usually able to realize on the time that they have lost everything.
This is the main reason on why gambling industry is really that profitable because of that humans or people are really that too greedy or even those kind of hopes that they can be rich because of gambling.
Partly yes, because if you are really that lucky enough then you might be able to pull up some good wins and this do boost up that kind of positive feeling on which this is really that something
too risky.

Honestly, gambling is tricky and can lead to irregular time management at least for me, especially with the marketing and hype surrounding it. I usually gamble only in my free times around once a week and only when I have extra money. But it’s true when they also say gambling has its periods, like during football leagues or watching streamers hitting max wins which can be really tempting.

When it comes to the frequency of betting gains are not be entirely about how often we gamble, but rather about the results of each decision. I agree that separating betting from slots is helpful since slots rely on luck free time since they take long and money, while betting often involves researching analyzing odds and waiting for results. It can definitely be more defficult.

From my experience making several bets every day especially during weekends, tends to lead give me more losses. I think it's because the more frequent bets are less carefully selected from me.  Sometimes, limiting myself to once or twice a week seems to improve my results, probably because I focus on the good matches and moments.
