I use BTC almost everyday to buy and sell things, it is a great currency for this (meaning fees aren't an issue).

It depends upon your needs, I know you can't go to buy vegetables or fruits with Bitcoin that will be quite difficult but if you need to send money to different country where Bitcoin is acceptable then I can't find any better option than Bitcoin. Bitcoin has helped to improve long distance payment methods removing bank from interfering and making payments across international borders very quick.
this is true i still remember when paypal disabled my account with out any reason with 2k inside and got it back after 90 days. This freedom of complete control is what make me interested in bitcoin first place

At the current state of bitcoin, it's impractical to use it as payment because it's very volatile and the fees for every transactions you make are getting bigger and bigger. So it's better if you just hold your bitcoin or change it to fiat when its price is high and use the fiat as payment for your needs. This way you won't lose much and you'll profit more.

It's very practical. Especially if you're looking to pay someone overseas, it is the most convenient form of payment that you are able to find. In that regard, bitcoin really serves well as a medium of exchange globally, which is something that fiat does not have.

You can pretty much buy anything you need with bitcoin, without having to convert it back into fiat at this point. There are obviously also services where you are able to buy anything you want that accepts credit cards using bitcoin.

Just keep in mind though that merchant adoption is nowhere nearing its peak at the moment, there is still a long way to go before we can see individual merchants accept bitcoin directly. Right now, this is done mainly through the use of payment processors such as Bitpay which in the future we may see less of as adoption grows.
agreed and bitpay suck. it's too complicated we need better and more user friendly payment services so every one can easily understand it and feel comfortable paying with btc.

I don't think Bitcoin as payment service is very practical, I don't know such a lot shops, and others who accept Bitcoin as payment. To my mind in Japan paying with BTC is practical then everywhere, because BTC was born there, and many places accept Bitcoin as payment, even there terminals that you can withdraw your BTC
i also hear from my Japanese friend that in japan bitcoin is getting mainstream which is great thing.

It is a good option especially for bigger transactions. But with small transactions, it can be a problem with so much fees and delay in transaction completion.

What is functional to one individual can be the inverse for another. It relies upon your necessities. In case you're into a method of installment that is future-arranged, something that disposes of from these establishments the misusing of reports and records, the untrustworthiness, absence of trust of representatives and additionally the absence of dependability, at that point bitcoin as a virtual cash can be useful.

In my opinion, it is practical as mode of payment service in a way that its a hassle free. It's very accessible for any emergencies. We cannot predict any situation that comes along our way. That's why BTC is very  practical.

i am new here and i came to ask fellow users about how practical bitcoin as payment method is? i paid for domain on namecheap via bitpay and it was okishh experience. I mean how much i can use bitcoin to pay online for shopping, services and goods?
The speed and time used to process a transaction is major issue cited by many to be major hindrance for its use in real life. It'll be difficult for for shops to operate with it. It will only bring about long waiting cues.

Very practical because you will just pay digitally without going out and falling in lines. Less stress, less energy, less time consuming.

Same thoughts here. Plus, what is practical to one person can be the opposite for another. It depends on your needs. If you're into a mode of payment that is future-oriented, something that eliminates from these institutions the mishandling of documents and records, the dishonesty, lack of trust of employees as well as the lack of reliability, then bitcoin as a virtual currency can be practical.

For physical transactions, just imagine the less hassle way of payment and no need to worry to bring fiat cash on hand.

For online transactions, just refer to your experience on Bitpay and that's it.

How much you can use for online shopping? Just like a normal online shopping, prices were still the same. It's just that it's way more convenient to pay in bitcoin for an obvious reason that it was less hassle. Yours to try and see for yourself the real deal.

Practical for me is being efficient. There are some stores here in our country that accepts bitcoin as a payment. Bitcoin as a payment method is really practical because it is through online and it will give you faster and safer transactions if you will compare to other payment methods.

It's practice enough but the transaction speed sometimes is not stable, sometimes it's really fast but sometimes it has a traffic.
Also the transaction fee is too high so it's not qualified enough to pay online for shopping or etc

If one is having knowledge about bitcoin and internet usage, is at least having an electronic gadget to transact; electricity for recharge etc.  only then it is practical.  So mostly in advanced countries people are often using crypto for transactions.  It is practical for them.
But the people who are still uneducated will not be able to operate and transact.  Poor people in third world countries are unable to buy gadgets.  So it is not practical for them.
