Topic: how soon did you start mining after first hearing about bitcoin? (Read 1305 times)
I heard about it some months ago but did not pay too much attention till a couple of weeks ago. Then I got interested on mining.
It took 2 years for me. I wish I have some sort of time mashine.
I knew about bitcoins from way back cause i used Tor/freenet. But only started mining couple days ago, I really wish I had started sooner.

2 years for me, I heard about it in 2011 but waited until it hit the news to jump in. Too long!

Randomly hearing about them: a month
When a friend urged me on about them: a day
late 2010 = cpu mining solo for 50 a pop

Heard about the new bitcoin currency last year but didn't really take it serious until earlier this year. Mining when the BFL product ships, which might be when I'm gray.
I began instantly as it drew my attention immediatly and it hasn't decreased one little bit ever since then.

I started mining a few minutes after discovering Bitcoin.
A few minutes after I started mining I found a difficulty calculator and stopped.

I just started mining with my game computer. But the Bitcoins I got are very very little.
1 week, had the "gold rush" fever too
