you are right bitcoin is running since 2009 then we could hear a ton of hacking events place on that year but no once can stop bitcoin then until know it is running. bitcoin is strong now lot of users worldwide and many users will be adopting bitcoin in their lives. If one could hack the entire system it will take all our money and everything will be useless, although
it is possible but I don't think it will happen.
It's quite secure if you keep your private keys secure! We should see better solutions beyond hardware wallets in the future. Those are quite expensive.
Even if we do keep our private keys secure, if the community and miners split between Bitcoin Core and Bitcoin Unlimited, Bitcoin (both branches) will be weakened. We all have learnt over the years to keep our private keys secure.

i think Bitcoin had proven its strength already. Just value looking on its value when it started up to its current value, from $.3 to $1120, we can conclude that Bitcoin is really strong. Actually even stronger than some currencies we knew. And it keeps on growing stronger as time goes by.

Bitcoin is not that strong if you really think about it, brute-forcing the passwords is possible so Bitcoin is not that secure.
this is unlikely to happen as long as you have set a strong password. brute-forcing may take centuries
