We know that bitcoin is strong and all the wallets have milletry grade security but one of my stupid friend today said that maybe someone can hack it with just a calculater because with math and correct formulas we can even predict gambling bets if that is possible then maybe there is any chance of this
If what your friend says is true then we won't be sitting here and have a whole forum just for bitcoin because bitcoin would be hacked by someone and death right at the moment it was born. And if we could predict gambling then what's the point in playing gamble? When that ever happens, gambling wouldn't exist and grow like today. So I'm not convinced by your friend words.
I believe very high hopes for bitcoin at the end of this year. And in the beginning of 2017 should bring a positive sort of bitcoin prices. I probably optimistic, but in this case without this in any way.
More positive will happen this follow year because of many promises and many adoption will happen according to other said.. and base on research of some company online they are also accepting bitcoin and paying in bitcoin and i think more stores will accept bitcoin as payment that can affect also the value of bitcoin..

Bitcoin itself is pretty strong and secure. Bitcoin exchanges, however, are where it becomes risky.
Over the past year we have seen steady price increase bitcoin, and only knocked down the price collapse in the summer bitcoin when hacked Bitfinex, but today we are seeing a good trend to strengthen their positions.

Bitcoin its just the king of crypto since has borned, after it several more coins are getting their market and interest, but far away to achieve the huge support that bitcoin does have, even with some advantages against bitcoin, i doubt any coin can replace bitcoin before 2040, but i may be wrong and other crypto reach bitcoin, but one thing is sure no one can kill crypto coins anymore.

Bitcoin currently is not being hyped or spread that much which it needs to be because if no new investors would join in, the people who have gained coins will try to get more and more coins and they will only add it to their portfolio and never disclose or distribute them.
Even though it might not seem like it, simply using bitcoins is a way of spreading news about bitcoin. When somebody sees you doing bitcoins on your computer, they will be curious of what you're doing. So you'll say things about bitcoin. They will be interested. You might not notice it but the people around you are actually being introduced to bitcoin by just seeing you or by knowing that you use bitcoin.

Methinks, it is not a very good idea to let people see that you are "doing bitcoins on your computer". Why would you ever let them see that unless you are showing off, of course? But I don't think it is a good idea, either. If you want to attract people's attention to Bitcoin, you wouldn't likely want to do it in an obtrusive and ostentatious way like what you suggest.

We don't have to conduct meetups and lectures for people to find out about bitcoins. They will eventually find out about bitcoin especially if they need to earn money online.

Wealthy people already know about bitcoins, the rest might not be relevant unless Bitcoin gets traction as a real currency for using in everyday life.

Well, comparing with other virtual currencies, Bitcoin is very strong and stable, well established and accepted by many users and merchants.
Comparing with other payment options on Internet, like industry leader Paypal, Bitcoin is still weak.
Bitcoin passed a lot and become very famous but still long way is ahead of us, in order that we finally become mainstream.
I see great potential for bTC but it will not happen overnight.

Bitcoin is REALLY strong IMO, it has already maintained it's place for multiple years, of which there were plenty of issues, complaints, problems etc... I think it's extremely persistent and a long term working project..

Those who do not understand or does not care to understand what bitcoin is and how it works will say silly things like that. But you know better so you could try to enlighten him and if he does not listen then give him a calculator and let him beat the miners on the next block of coins.

Bitcoin system its amazing, the halving is something that Nakamoto made to make bitcoin grow im value while its being cuted to hald to miners rewards, who would think bitcoin will turn into the huge sucess it is, the thing is there are several altcoins but cant compete against bitcoin, not now.

Doesn't sound believable... Any random miner's computer will likely type in the sequence formula faster than anticipated.

It would take too long to figure out before full capacity is reached. It's likely that all BTC will be mined before it can be hacked once. Hackers target web wallets rather, so it'd be of great interest to worry about this with alternative cryptocurrency.
