One thing for sure, your friend has an attitude of thinking that he knows it all, or somehow read some article and speculate or judge things without prior research. With bitcoin encryption system, and it's high level of security, i doubt you friend can hack it with just a calculator.

It is still possible that someone could hack Bitcoin using his brains. But to say that these brains should be out of the ordinary is equal to just saying nothing. Hacking Bitcoin means hacking a cryptographic algorithm used to generate the key pairs, something which is theoretically possible to hack but which doesn't happen every other day. So, in practice, there is hardly any chance of performing such a feat.

If it was possible then somebody should have already done it years ago. Hackers should be swimming in a pool of money by now if you can simply use a calculator to get somebody's private key. You can't predict gambling results by using a calculator and correct formulas, take a look at the script of how the rolls are getting generated on gambling sites, all of them are using the random syntax which basically proves that it is indeed random.

The price is really high compared to other currency. This is the sign of its strong foundation. Yeah honestly bitcoin is very strong if bitcoin is not strong bitcoin is already dead as of now . but bitcoin still alive and many companies are accepting bitcoin as payment. and they are increasing so bitcoin will be more popular in the future.

Bitcoin is strong but it has not reached to its highest level of strength yet, as bitcoin is not known in many countries yet and for it to become the strongest will take some more time.
