The deposit bonus is a bait, i mean, they are made to be hard for the users, and most of the users will not complete the wager, but some lucky user will complete it, you only need a good run for it.

But the main thing that I dislike about that kind of bonus is the fact that they limit the possible win, so, if you make a $100 depo, and get $200, and you are only allowed to withdraw $300, it would really suck if we are in a good run up to $1500 in balance and we can't take it all.

The bottom line though is, regardless of the RTP or anything, or what the required turnover is, it ends up to the user's luck.

That's true. But some casinos offer deposit bonuses that have conditions so unfavorable to new gamblers that it’s difficult for them to use them. And it's important to be extra cautious in such cases, especially when the conditions are not clearly stated and are hidden in the terms of use, which are often not thoroughly read by users. For example, some casinos offer deposit bonuses that can only be used on slots games. If you like table games and video poker more than slots, this is not good for you. You will be required to play only slots games and lose your money before you can use the bonus.

I personally know one casino where the wager for x1 bonuses. For example, they give a 100% bonus up to $1000 with x1 wagering. The casino withdraws money, but verification is required through the bot in the service. The perfect casino for a bonus hunters. I'm ready to give a link for a small remuneration, PM.
Which casino do you know with 1x wagering requirements but has a 100% or $1000 bonus, tell us the name I'm also curious about the casino you mean.
Many casinos already use bots in their services, so it's not a difficult thing, but at least if there is a problem they want to deal with it right away, not a bot that actually gives a response.

Regarding bonuses, I have never felt getting a bonus with a decent and easy amount with just 1x bet.

The best bonus is not to take the bonus if it has a big wager, because it will be -EV (-Expected value). Any casino game is -EV, if you play by the rules of the casino. I will give an example of why you should not take deposit bonuses with a high wager. The casino gives a 100% bonus on the first deposit and wager x40 (D+B) = 200 x40 = 8k, we make a deposit of $100 and they give us another $100 = $200 (wager 200*40=8k). The casino has an average RTP of 96% (percent is different everywhere, depends on slots or house games and so on). For every $100 wagered we get back $96 according to the mathematical expectation (100-96=4), $960 for 1k wager (1000-960=40), $7680 for 8k wager (8000-7680=320). And after the full wagering, we will lose $320 (D+B and also we need more $120), which gives a very large -EV. Who thinks about this and the casinos began to raise the wager.

Even without this EV calculation on the bonuses, It’s very obvious that most of the casino has negative EV because they are a business which means their service is not a charity that gives free money. Most of the casino bonuses has a high wagering requirements so I doubt you can find a bonuses with positive EV like what you theoretically calculated on this. Even if there is,Casino will just hold your account if you win since you are taking advantage to their offer using safe bets.

Bonuses is not intended for free money. It’s an extra reward for your game. You will be busted if you will focus claiming it instead of playing.

Most of the deposit bonus has more than 40x wager requirements in maximum casinos. Even if you play in a casino that has games with a 1% House edge, the chance to lose the amount is huge. As I said in many other threads before, there is a saying that House always wins in the long run. The idea of a deposit bonus with wager requirements is to make players play for a long time. Casinos know that the long time a player plays at a casino, the more chance they will end up losing their money. So, if you understand their motive and tried the deposit bonus. You already know how it works and you can judge it from your own experience as well.

If you are solely interested in the deposit bonus, it can be challenging for you. However, if you are a regular gambler who plans to spend a significant amount of time on a specific gambling site, it would be advantageous for you to take advantage of the deposit bonus. This is especially true if you consistently place bets and have the goal of winning. The calculations you provided are helpful for those who aim to understand the probabilities and the casino's profit margins.

Nevertheless, thank you for sharing the computations regarding our chances and the casino's chances of profiting.

Deposit bonuses are only good if they permit you to play the amount on sport betting also and not only in casino games and I know few casinos who permit this, this is however the best use of the deposit bonus, like if you deposit 1000 dollars and get 1000 bonus, you can increase that 1000 dollars dramatically with some sport bets in just a week if you are patient enough to bet on odds and games who have high chances of coming true. This though is done by very few casinos and very few people while most people tend to go directly to try their luck in the slot machines which they soon find out that they will lose the money in no time, especially if they raise the bet.
This is why you have to read the rules of the deposit bonus promotions since its not an easy money after all and there are rules that you need to follow so you can enjoy that bonus. Many site will require you to wager it and some site offers a very attractive deposit bonus but after doing this, you’ll be required to spend more before you can withdraw that bonuses. Casinos will not play lose against the gamblers, they still need to be ahead of their own gamblers.

maybe that's why so many new users are stuck to test the welcome bonus and try new casinos, Somehow I'm not really interested in the welcome bonus unless I really want to just test it and not for the money because I know in the end I will lose too and lose money my deposit is also my winnings, so choosing to play at a big casino is enough for me instead of having to play at a new casino that gives a big welcome bonus.

I know that welcome bonuses are always tempting but sometimes experienced gamblers won't take it as interesting to play in that casino, after all welcome bonuses are usually only new users who feel interested to grab it and try the game, this should be a lesson for new users not to claim first deposit bonus or welcome bonus.  Wink

We don't five attention much to the request on deposit bonus because there are conditions attached to it that we are maybe unaware of because we didn't have enough time to make such discovery through their conditions attached as well stated from their policy and terms, they are using that as a trick but rather a good means of attracting gamblers into gambling because no establishement will want to give out without first receiving something or having that opportunity to retain those whom it has given to.

Technically, that's true. However, regardless of the numbers or percentages mentioned, it's on the user's end to read the terms and conditions of the said bonus before applying. It's not appropriate to say how casino takes money from deposit bonus when in the end, they aren't even forcing their users to participate in those. It's good that some sites do have a simple interface on the deposit page showing the options if new users like to take the deposit bonuses and promotions or not. Besides, it's just common to expect a tough wagering requirement for a 100% bonus deposit as casinos are not there to give away an easy win.

Though out of curiosity, what are those gambling sites that require X40 wagering requirement for 1st 100% deposit bonus as OP mentioned in the example? Is the number just served as an example? In some cases, based on my observation, the numbers are mostly playing around x10 - x15. For more than that, no doubt it's a ridiculous requirement that's why users really need to fully understand the terms and conditions of the said bonus.

The bottom line though is, regardless of the RTP or anything, or what the required turnover is, it ends up to the user's luck.

Actually players know exactly how the wager requirements are set by the casino to prevent players from easily taking the bonuses provided because casinos are a business and business is always profit-oriented, and if there are players who continue to chase bonuses it's not because they will be able to pass the wager requirements. but thinking luck will help them get through it, and without looking at the calculations provided by the OP all gamblers almost know for sure that it is difficult to pass the requirements but seeing the promised bonus is still more tempting than the possibility of losing the entire deposit.
But I would prefer to play normally without claiming the bonus because it's almost impossible to pass even though I've done it but it's no more than 30x the wager requirement.

To make it short, they will take back the bonus they gave to you as much as possible, so better not take the bonus instead.

I don't want to believe this is real. There must be those who surpassed this belief and reaped some of the rewards of the bonus and the winnings from betting. What if you will be doing sports gambling? There's no such thing as RTP there, so these bonuses will be a good amount for a starter. In casino games, yes, I do believe that now. It's like someone is switching the RTP on and off and there are a lot of times I already felt it.
From winning x400 to losing 400 times again whatever casino game you play. That means anytime, anywhere, anyhow. It won't matter, the casino will take it back.
That is why whenever I get some profits I try to withdraw it as much as possible and avoid this kind of trouble.

Of course all those first deposit bonus is just another way for the casino to lure players into making the deposits. Those bonuses usually have very difficult to complete rules like wagering 10x times the total amount and so on. Even if users are able to complete the wagering requirements, some casinos won't let you withdraw the whole bonus. Sometimes like up to $100 or so. They use this strategy for getting people hooked into the casino. Once the players start winning the games with bonus funds, they usually wants to play more, so they keep on playing until they end up starting to lose everything.

One thing to add, there are some casinos with different rule about when your bets will be counted towards wagering requirement. These casinos usually start to count your bets toward wagering requirement once you have lost your initial deposit first. It means that early huge win after taking the bonus will be useless as you will not be able to start wagering for the wagering requirement before you lose your initial deposit. Players need to read the whole terms about any deposit bonus, not only how much is the wagering requirement. Terms such as max amount per bet while taking bonus is also important as well as about which games contribute towards wagering requirement because some time not all games are counted 100%.

If I were to generalize, these bonuses are there to simply attract new users. They're not there to be actually given away. It's never the intention of the casinos to just give away money. It's not only the terrible wagering requirements that discourage me from claiming the deposit bonus. Normally, bonuses have special terms and conditions. A casino, for example, that doesn't require KYC upon sign up might require it to those who want to claim the bonus. With all of the conditions, you have to be Odysseus to successfully get it.

This is a great topic to discuss in the forum, and I bet many newbies have no clue about it or how to crunch the numbers.

OP, I couldn't help but notice you didn't mention something important. Lots of casinos offer deposit bonuses that come with a catch - you gotta meet specific wagering requirements by playing certain games. Usually, they'll focus on slot games, roulette, or some card games. Why? Well, 'cause these games tend to have a lower Return to Player (RTP) compared to other classic casino games like dice.

You guys have been gambling for years are going to go way over the rollover amounts. Why in the world would you pass up a bonus unless you are going to hit and run and not gamble for the rest of your life. If you get a 100% bonus then you double your ROI. You will stay in the game much longer with a bonus.

The fact of the matter is that you stay longer in the game. In any case, casino RTP leads to a loss, this is not poker. You can further increase the time spent in the casino, play house games, such as Dice (in the best crypto casinos house edge is usually about 1%).

In slots you can hit a life changing jackpot. A bonus gives you more time to hit that jackpot.

Look at the chance of hitting the jackpot, the higher the jackpot, the lower the chance. Also, the bet usually plays a role, the higher the bet, the higher the chance of hitting the jackpot, but there the chances are 0.00000.... And in the jackpot slots RTP are even more underestimated, you will lose faster your money.

I stand with Palestine.
The casinos always try to trap users and give good bonuses to the users. Which attract more users to their casino. I was reading a thread on this forum about withdraw policies about bonuses withdraw. So the casinos make it difficult for the users to withdraw bonuses they give some difficult requirements to withdraw so I think we should not get these kind of bonuses to safe ourselves from future problems.
