personally i try to use ayats from Qoran, trying to follow. Also use hadis.
You dont need to be a friend. More than that, you need to stabilich a hierarchy. But, in this one or any of your relantionships, you need to be fair when to put out mistakes and humble to assume yours. Know when to reward and when to reinforce negatively
Always be there for your child
There is one quality every good father has, they are authentic. They set good example. Their lives does not contradict what they tell their children to do. Love, understanding, encouragement etc
To be a good father first you must be a good person doing good example for your children. You must have long patience and wide understanding because raising a child or family its not easy.
Have a wife and give birth to a child then you be a father

Good father will be a supportive,loving,understanding hard working father because father should work for their childrens future they will secured their childrens. They will protect their childrens the to other peoples. They will teach also a rigth manner like my father did that to us i love my father
Don't push any kids so hard, speak slowly they will understand

I haven't become a father yet, but I can tell you exactly what I'm going to do, just like my father did for me. I love him. He's an example to me.
