To have a positive day, stop thinking your problems or negative video.  Find somethings make you happy; you can watch a funny video on the YouTube or listen to music. If you have money you can shopping, bench with your friend's last thing travel to others country together with your family.

When problems occur, do not focus on it. Think about all the blessings you have received. Remember, problems will somehow define your personality. Do not focus on your problems instead focus on the solution.
Pray to God and He will give you the peace and positivity in times of trouble.

In order to be positive or an optimist, you gotta think about the blessings that you received in life. Appreciating the good things that you have than thinking of the bad things that happened to you. When facing difficulties, always look at the brighter side and think that all problems will pass in time and when that happens, you will be proud of yourself that you were able to surpass the difficulties.

how to remain positive in times of difficult situations where there is very little hope for positivity???

depending on personal perceptions because it all exists only in the thinking itself

I've been described as "bubbly" by multiple people. My secret? I'm secretly kind of cynical and bitter, but I know people don't like to be surrounded by negativity, so I force myself to be as upbeat and friendly as possible. It helps that I'm a private person and don't want people asking me, "What's wrong?" As a bonus though, it actually does make me feel a little happier inside when I see someone I smiled at, smile back at me.

for me positive thinking is not an easy thing. So I can try one way of explaining that gathering with people who have a positive mindset can also help me to always think positive. It's a great way to turn a negative mindset into a positive mindset.

It´s not always about beeing positiv. Maybe you are negative poled because of your past.
In this case you have to process your old problems to get rid of your negativaty.
Talk to people you leaved with an argument, go through your fears and do things you always wanted to do.
Work on your selfe and never stop doing that.

For me it's always having a backup plan and being positive in a way that you'll know how to react if things didn't go as planned and always expecting that things may not go on your planned way.

Focus your energy on positive thoughts rather than negative thoughts, negative thoughts doesnt get us well. Theres a lot of book there how to stay positive all the time. Try to search on google "Attitude is everything" its a great book for practicing positive attitude.

Sometimes life can really hit you in the stomach and have you feeling the absolute worst. In tough times, it can feel nearly impossible to be optimistic and positive in a time of difficulty and constant negativity.
Think of people who may have a harder life than you. Remember that your situation is not the worst. Though you may be going through a tough time, be thankful for what you do have and what worse situations you have avoided. Focus on your blessings instead of your issues. Many times during your day, things go exactly the way you want them to, but when one thing doesn't, it's easy to get upset. Remember that more things go right than wrong. It's a difficult task, but if the positives outweigh the negatives, shouldn't your positive mood also outweigh your negative mood? Brainstorm all the things that have gone according to plan today, then what hasn't. Unless it's an extremely bad day, your positive items should significantly outnumber the negative ones.
