You can practice being patient by not expecting too much from people or the world per se. This way you will not be too disappointed with then if they did not satisfy you or if they wronged you. Secondly, when things did not go your way, you can just pause for a minute. Maybe meditate. Before getting angry or frustrated, think things through. Analyze first why that person did that or why things failed. There must be a reason behind it. Try to understand that reason.

I think there are many factors you need to account. You have to have a healthy environment, do more things that bring you joy and relief, and there is a question of diet, i'm not kidding. What you eat is really affects you mental heath, as well as physical.

Meditation is a good way to practice patience. While meditating, you clear your thoughts and keep calm
Meditation is definitely good to practice the mind

I agree with these. Meditation, practiced on a daily basis will reduce your anxiety levels, more tolerance, more control of your emotions.
Try some body relaxation, here's a theorical/practical video on Body Relaxation: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VQCWryMBRxQ
As trauma, fears, emotions, anxiety tends to be stored in your muscles, they manifest as lump in throat, ocd, nervousness...

Hope it helps you Smiley Actualized youtube channel have a lot of videos with very good insights on this topic

I am generally an impatient person. So this thread is quite helpful for me.
As for me, I would suggest that you practice meditation and yoga. It actually help me control my impatience and help me to live more peaceful.

I'd say just try to get used to the fact that the measurement of time is a man made concept. Try to focus less on the minutes, start trying to gauge time by events, experiences, or different activities. You'll be a lot less stressed too I'd bet.

I have met with the same problem, and for me helps the sounds of nature. It is really relaxing and after that, you will become more patient. The key for such a progress is the regular practic.

More humble so that we can always be patient Wink

I think humility is connected with patience. If you see others not just yourself you can be more patient.

Patience is costly and precious. To be patient In life there are Se certain  things you must put in place such as you must be able to be fast to hear and slow to act. Any thing you are told ,you must think very deeply of it before you act on it..
