First you should see that the thing which the project's trying to accomplish is really achieveable then you should see whether the team is really well versed in the blockchain technology or they are just trying to trick you into giving them your money.

Be active on forums, this is how you learn about new coins.
Its a good thing if there is transperency for the project and if the team is active in the community. Also research they idea and what the coin offers.

Being active is not enough all the time. You need to go more deeper. You can get into their telegram channels and ask hard questions to devs so that you can know if they really want to produce a working product/system.

Everyone says trading is easy, you have to pickup a good coin and then invest your money there..Will you guys, please tell me how I know it is a good coin or bad? What certain things I should check about that coin? What types of information helps me to know the coin is good?
You should read the roadmap of the development project. In my opinion it is the best way to predict the future of a coin. But that is not the determinant of all, it depends on many factors and especially the trader.
yes for me also that was i have been read for when choosing the good coin why cause on that way you may know what is the purpose of this . if this can be atleast having the good impact in terms of the way on how people will choose this.

most people usually look for good coin information through some of the coin owner's official social media accounts but some are looking for information via chat groups like telegram to know what developers will do.

I think if you want to know the coin good or not we have to visit the official Web coins the or community coins the (if any) and look at how planing developers look at the roadmap her look at the White papernya and from that's where I think you can conclude the coin good or not. if there is community you should visit it and see the activity of the developer see the members of his and how respect developers if there is a new member to ask
You should study the market properly before selection of the coin for investment as you can meet the developer and the team behind the project and can communicate with them regarding their strategy in the future. You can go through monthly charts of different coins and so you can see their.

previous performance on the basis of which one can conclude more easily. On recent performance one can predict that bitcoin is best choice.

Trading is easy if you want to loose your money, you have to changed that mindset because trading is very risky. It can loose your money for just a second and before you make money on trading you should know how to use indicators, it really takes time to become professional on trading but work for it so you can pick a good coin and earn money from that.
I think good coins are high secured, high value and high demand in current market. First we should know about the cryptocurrency chart status. This will help to choose a good coins. The chart status duration period is one month report. First we must see which coin is reduce in last month. How it is go down in market. Then we must see about a which coins are raise up in current market. Then we should schedule which is better to invest for future.
It requires proper search of the market to choose a good coin for investment. Previous record of the charts of the coins may be carefully searched out as to know about the profit of the investors. It is suggested that after proper home work for choosing the coin is completed, small amount may be invested in order to familiar with the market. If proper profit comes from the investment then more capital should be invested.

analyze it first about the coin.
the function of coins, community, developers and trade history of the coin is also to be considered.
Well rating is the best option for choosing best coins because if you start searching of other crypto so will see a clear difference between bitcoin and other crypto because bitcoin is a different crypto then other because bitcoin price is high and its acceptable to many countries and still more countries are joining it so its users are also very high as compare to any other currency that’s can make you clear about choosing coins so I will prefer bitcoin as compare to other currency.

Me too, I don't kmow how to choose a good coin to invest, but by reading everyday, I learned that if a coin has a roadmap, white paper and good set of devs, It can be a good project, and sometimes I also look on coinmarketcap for its volume and if its listed already on some coin exchange markets, but all in all, I'm not yet expert in choosing a good coin to invest with.

These are my criteria:

- Premined or not?

Premined coins are too suspicious. The devs take an initial big slice for themselves always justifying that with some philosophical rhetoric but there are many past examples of total scam coins using this scheme.

- ICO or no ICO?

I don't like ICOs, I prefer to invest in an already ongoing project with given proof of stability and endurance. I'm not saying all ICOs are scam, but same of them are for sure!

- How old is the coin?

In my book, if a coin is still being actively traded after 3/4 years of existence, this has to mean something; there is a faithful community behind it.

- Is it still being actively developed?

Following the previous point, if after 3/4 years the coin still has a dev team committed to it with real plans for the future, then it has a real project!

- Does it have any real use besides pure pump and dump speculation?

Is the coin being used for any kind of purchases? If not, are there any plans for it? Otherwise, it will only be a play toy for trading.

- Does it have an active and large community?

How large is the community? Is it still active or everybody left a long time ago?

- Is it PoW of PoS?

Proof of Work is a dead end, the power consumption is obscene. Not viable for the average domestic crypto enthusiast. Proof of Stake can be done with a Rasberry Pi  Grin

- Fully functioning wallet?

Some coins have terrible wallets, unstable, not user friendly. This is a key factor, the software has to be in line with the state of the at crypto developments.

First of all you need to research about there coin, and read it all if there have a white paper check it. Then know the function of the coin, background of developer and her teams. Know also if they always active on there social media account to have a communication with each other.
It takes a lot of time and effort to know what is a good coins because some of the developers are good at dumping their coins after they have made a lot of money and then they run and never get back. That's why you need to ask a critical question for their ICO if you found their ANN thread, ask everything as what you wanna know as an investor because your money here is at the risk and it is a gamble for the investors, developers and his team.

I usually choose the altcoin with good technical background and fresh, Team DEV clear and professional to follow the schedule set. The community of coin advocates must be large so as not to be dominated by any individual. This is the way I usually use to evaluate coin.

Well, first you need to decide what you just need to earn or earn stably and for a long time. If you just earn a lot of coins periodically pumping, mostly where there are small volumes, of course to go into an unknown coin can be a bad idea if there is nothing behind it. But in terms of investing just entering the fresh coins can make sense. And for intraday trading, many prefer a well-known coin, with a known range, rolling around on the wings of the flat to make their own 5-10%

if you want to choose a good coin, you should pay attention to the little things of all about the coin, such as the website, btc.org thread, the project team is trusted or not, and the rank of the coin.

Some good advice has already been offered here regarding paying attention to the market cap, whitepaper and project team. One strategy I use is to join the discord/slack/telegram of a coin I'm interested in and try to ascertain how active and professional the dev team is.
That's good idea, but if dev team so active on social so how they can devolop the product ?
Lol, the truth is sometimes, no matter how busy devs are, they still always try as much as possible to give their investors or holders of their coin an update on the progress of their work or what is being done on the coin.

All the above, it is not something they will just keep coming every now and then to keep giving news on social media platform. No huge time for that when there is always a lot of work to do. But, many people are not understanding these and falling into scam coins just by observing social media activities.

you need to do deeper research about particular coin that you think will be good coin to choose. but personally, i can not do that without any help from my friends, the only thing i knew that looking for coin that has much volume in 24 hours. look at the buy order, how many people interested on that coin, look at the price historical, try to predict as well. you can share with your friend who has enough knowledge about how to choose good coin. then learn what they teach you.
