plus, everyone is talking about what is needed to create the website.. but im sure the hardest part will be keeping it online. As any other business, it isn't easy to administer.

in fact it is easy to create the website but very much difficult to operate it and specially a gambling website. i think only those people who have good experience in gambling and running a casino can do so otherwise it is one of the most difficult job for those people who do not have any experience in running a casino.

Yup, we will get PHP and javascript codes in online. But if you want to create a secure website my choice is to use Python language it is more secure and you can able to store your data very safe. The site performance is also faster than other coding languages. And this is also open source. You will get all codes and information in Google.

I have seen a new script completely made up of php recently which is also open source. It uses only php and mysql database, tested that site and it is running as predicted. But it doesn't have cool graphics and other functions like chat etc because it is not possible with just php.

Some of the basics would be.

SQL (structured query language): backend database for storing of raw data.
Dynamic language for the front end asynchronous interface: AJAX, javascript or html 5.
CSS (cascading style sheets) for clean interface design.
PHP, python, ASP or other server side language to bridge the gap between interface and backend. And handle things like sessions, etc.
HTML, XML, HTMLX or HTML5: for the page markup language.
HTTPS: for encryption between website pages and end users.
Bitcoin knowledge to implement the automated deposit and withdrawal features.
Security knowledge to prevent your site from being hacked or having btc stolen.

There are probably code examples available online.

If your skills is not for programming why you need to become harsh on your self when you can't understand even one language of programming? Try to find another one who can do it for you and then pay him , there are many sites where you can learn about programming , creating gambling site needs you to be 100% on the following languages PHP is the most important when you want to secured your codes HMTL is for designing also you can use bootstrap.

making a gambling site and knowing the designing and programming part of it is only half the battle, and i can say it is even lower than half.
you need lots more knowledge to be able to survive. for example you should have a perfect provably fair system, a very good and active support staff and also you should have a business mind so that you can make your business profitable, because it is not profitable on its own.

Based on what you asked, I guess the question is specific to some successful brand even on this forum as they are the ones that can be used as role model to answer your questions. The reason for that, is in my short time of being here, I have seen several gambling sites launched and fizzled away and that tells that its not only about the site that matters but other things in which the successful brands can only be able to talk about...
