ICO's are in abundance in the crypto world, every day there are more and more appearing. But what do you need to create a successful ICO? Here is an article on how to get started. Once you understand the processes and concepts behind ICO's, you will be able to tell a good one from a poor one.

https://medium.com/@crowdholding/how-to-create-an-ico-part-1-the-building-blocks-ee1e7a2834b7

What do you think of part 1? would you add anything to it?
to make a project or ico require some rules and legalization ico in that country,
and also ico need a great team

You no need to worry about that because I don't think you are not belongs to the country China or south Korea. They only completely banned to any ICO sales. That is also they do only for their citizens security.
Without legalization alos bitcoin being in the world from the past 8 years. Now value reach to 5.k this all time high. Ignore the legal issues.
I think in china they regulated ICO again except for korea for the last news that i heard they banning ICO's so if you are living in china no worries about developing ICO's hope that korea too will announce after exchanges in china was legal and licensed they  can regulate ICO's again back..
The hard thing in making a project ICO you need  to hire an security expert because there are lots of hacker out there and there are lots of knowledgeable to make their own ICO's so they can also attack any owns a new release ICO's or altcoin..
This is just like a world war because they are releasing lots of ICO's to battle other competition to get more sales and developing it in the future.

Nice article!  Wink

I truly believe that team is very important! You won't be able to build something great without right people.
Also, Reddit and Bitcointalk:
The great thing about these forums is that it allows you to highlight your unique differences to the community and build a relations with your potential customers!

And dont forget about ICO listings as a great PR tool. My TOP 10:

Thanks for the list, that will be in next parts with marketing.

its a nice guide to start an ICO . But the main issue is are you going to build a scam ICO or a real project ?

"So when deciding on launching an ICO, you will have to take into consideration payment for these staff members. We suggest starting to create your ICO 3 month prior to the launch of your pre-ICO which means you will need at least a 6 month runway."

Course it is to build a real project, that was just a forecast to make sure that you understand that you need time to build and ICO, and run it. I think some people assume you can create one in a day and start making money from investors.

Actually the selection of a unique coin name can be influential, although it looks trivial but can be power thrust into ico success.
By the way his article is very interesting explanation directly and logically Cheesy

Interesting take, I will add this into the article. Thank you

Good starting article.

I would be more explicit about the fact that ICO's are not for every startup though. I saw you mentioned it but maybe with a bit more venom. Too many startups are creating an ICO for no other reason apart from to raise capital.

Thanks for the advice, I will add that to the article

Well, I think the Blog is great. Keep up the good work.

Thank you for the kind words!

I found it very elaborating. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you!

I think before you want to start an ICO project you need a lot of software engineers and you have to have a team to develop the project, of course if you have a great team you should creates an ICO project that can be developed in the future

This is true, hence why i put the part about making sure you have the team to pull off the ICO.

The good step is to make a deep research of successful ICO examples, including analyzing all the projects that have been failed as well (which were not a scam), to itemize the reasons, mistakes etc...

I liked the article, talked more about the thoughts behind it rather than how to create it.

Will look forward to part 2!

I agree with the above statement, needs a lot more bite. ICO's should only be open to startups who actually trying to use altcoins to change the eco-system, not every tom, dick and harry who wants to make a fast buck.

But i did like that you included about the team and projection of finances, I haven't taken that into consideration before when investing in an ICO.

Let's see what part 2 will bring!

I agree, ICO's should really only be done if there is some underlying market/functional mechanism to support the value of the token being issued, but the potential ease of capital raised is way too enticing.
