I think it is not easy, we all know that bitcoin is different with fiat money, paypal, liberty reserve etc. Of course it takes patience to be able to explain the bitcoin to teenagers or children. I suggest, watching videos is an easy thing to be understood rather than reading the article.
it will not easy to explain about bitcoin to teenagers or children i think they not need to know about bitcoin for now and not need to earn some bitcoin because they can aks money from their parents, but if they ask about bitcoin we can answer it easily "bitcoin is digital money which can used to buy anything"
Teenagers aren't need to earn bitcoin. I think they do not just need an explanation about bitcoin, but they also need to practice. I think when the teenagers can also earn bitcoin for their pocket money, it is more value for them. so I think it all depends on the needs and skill levels of the teenagers. Obviously it is very difficult to make people understand about bitcoin as well as this forum

Think you've got it wrong mate.. Just tell whoever's asking about "how to earn" as, "the same way you earn fiat currency" by doing jobs.". You can tell them to ask their employer if they can pay in Bitcoins. If it's some students then you can probably tell them about signature campaigns. Just tell them about the forum to whoever shows interest. Whenever we tell something about bitcoin , the first question people as is how to earn them.

Explaining it to children must be not an epic-long-explanation., it must be brief and the best character might be 100 to 120. Children are bored to explanations especially when it is so long. Teenagers in the other hand will be easy as log as you get their attention, mostly teenagers are being alert when it comes to money and earning some. That will be a great way to explain them.
Yes it must be brief because we know that children can't easily understand if we are going to explain bitcoin to them in a deep manner. But you shouldn't put some characters on it as long as you can explain it to the briefest and shortest way of explaining that will suffice them. And your main aim to them is just to explain.
Yeah, that will be really weird counting my words while explaining it to the children, they might be more confused if i did that. Though yeah, thats my aim so it must be really really brief. Though i hope that children will be really listening to me, because i might wasting my time explaining it to them. Though they might go straight to gambling and faucets. haha
children doesn't need to know about currency,but teenagers does,and i think there's so many explanation video in youtube so don't wasting effort wasting your time when you can just give them about the link of video so they can learn from it,whether they will be interested or not,it's definitely depend on them
Right, introducing bitcoin to someone is just a waste of time most of the time, because they are just interested on the first time, but after days, or a week they just got bored and decided not to do it anymore because they found it boring and just a waste of time, so your suggestion that instead of introducing it personally, why not to send a video link about this thing would be more appropriate, because either they decide to do it or not, then you didn't waste any of your time, that is what matters.

Although social media is such a great help, it can be a distraction. Most teenagers today have too quick attention spans and gets bored easily. What we can do to tell them about bitcoin should be of interest to them so that their minds will not drift away somewhere.As even an old guy still confused on how bitcoin as digital money works actually
An early education is needed , just to introduce nothing more
So tell them it's just like real money but designed and created digitally.
I explain everything to my mom and she goes every where and explain to them, now most of them are not teenagers still all never understand what bitcoin is about, she even once told me that she wont tell anyone any more about crypto so that I and my sister could have some sort of advantage as early adopters

I have tried to educate(not that I know a lot but still I know more) my younger brother but no matter what I say he still isn't interested since he's busy with telegram all the time.

Children, yes, they should be playing around, and it's their parent's responsibility to give what they need and to teach what they need to know about the future... Bitcoin should not be told to children, unless they ask you to teach them what it is... As for the youth, they already have needs, that their parents can't give anymore, or if they can, teenagers are shy to ask about it, and teenagers are always into new things, they love new technology and to learn... Demonstrations can do better than explanations...

That is not going to be enough, if you are going to let them use social media they can even discover more with bitcoin.
And that's why we need to stop them from knowing bitcoin in social media because they can know that bitcoin can be a tool or medium for gambling.

Bitcoin is difficult to explain. I also felt difficulties in understanding bitcoin for the firs time. Let's share how to explain bitcoin to children of teenagers. In My country I can say 98% children don't know bitcoin. In fact, bitcoin can be future money. If the children not familiar with cryptocurrency or bitcoin, how can they face the digital era in the future.
i difficult too if i am telling my friend (student) about bitcoin , i think the reason "bitcoin is new"tell to them bitcoin can bring happy like game but this is bring money too just not happier

When I look at some children,2 years old to 4 years old atleast, I tried to give them money, but they did not accept it, but they know it, I tried to explain why they need it, but not interested in my explanation. The next time, I bring a toy, I gave it to one of them and all where jealous and playing with it, in short, they are not interested in money matters, what they are interested at is toys, or things that gives them great imaginations.
When it comes to teenager, just tell them about what is bitcoin, and wait til they ask more and asks some interesting questions, that way, it won't be tiring to explain.

the best way you can explain bitcoin to teenagers is to tell them that they can get money with it and like you said teenagers and children like to play videogames and bitcoin is the best way to make them earn money to buy it with, they can do whatever they do every day which is going through social media and earn money through social campaigns on this forum.
its true. bitcoin and cryptos started a new trends to pay users to do social activities. I like those social media campaigns. teenagers and kids already so much involved in facebook etc. but now they can earn some good money just to do sharing, likes and comments. this is the best thing to explain teenagers bitcoin and it's benefits.Jump to:
