Currently I think doing bounties is a just time waste. Because now the bounty campaigns are not beneficial anymore . Because they are now cheap promotion with the cheap prices. And most of them are scamer they scam their customers and also the bounty hunters at the end of the day. So it will be best for now to find some another skill and develop there without wasting time here.

The landscape of bounty campaigns has changed drastically, to the point where it can be declared practically non-existent. In the past, according to personal experience, most of the campaigns I participated in (about 6-7 out of 10) offered attractive incentives and rewards for hunters. However, at this time, it is clear that the quality of the campaigns has dropped significantly, with many appearing to be low quality or potentially fraudulent. If they're lucky, they might stumble across a worthwhile campaign once a year. Considering the significant amount of time spent hunting, I highly recommend exploring alternative endeavors that offer far superior prospects.

I think bounty is dead now, theres only few bounties available. Bounty was profitable back in 2017. Though i am doing few bounties right now but there is expectation from my end. But right now airdrop is in hype. You can join in airdrop but always keep your expectations low. Actually doing simple task earning is vey difficult. Try your luck and DYOR.

It's been a long time since I've taken part in bounties so I'm not sure how to judge a good bounty but since this is just an easy job you might have difficulty deciding which ones are good so it's better to follow as many as you can so you don't miss out on any ones are good, even though you will get a disappointing bounty too, being too focused on choosing is very likely to make you miss out on getting a good bounty that gives big profits because you misjudged it, and in my opinion that is the best option because whatever indicators we use to assess a bounty it will not give accurate assessments so follow as many as you can.

Well you probably end up wasting time in scam projects, no matter if you want it or not.

Not even bounty managers can you protect you if dev team decides to rug that project. Even if they had some quality filters on what projects they choose, anything can be a scam.

Things that bounty managers are expected to do that i know of are:

1. Quality control over users that wear the signature.
2. Checking for bounty hunters who are abusing the campaign for bots, stolen work / plagiarism and rephrasing articles / multiple accounts
3. They need to count all the work and in some cases escrowing the tokens and distributing them flawlessly.

So basically good choosing a good bounty manager is easy. Just look for long history at that job and their trust. But it only guarantees you that you get the tokens if they escrowed them. Tokens themselves can be worthless and overvaluated during the sale. So if they are promising too much value for them, and saying that they are distributing tokens worth millions of dollars, and they aren't even raising that much money, ask yourself why wouldn't every bounty hunter just sell them instantly and drop the price to the ground?

When you are doing a bounty, do same kind of research that you would do if you were buying the sale yourself. In that way you don't have to feel ashamed for advertising a scam afterwards.

Join the only campaign run by the reputable bounty manager, but I suggest that you combine it by also participating in the testnet or airdrop. I only remind you that if the reward from participating in the bounty campaign is getting even lower, the best way for you to participate is in the testnet as well.

You can try searching for the legit bounty managers which are still running their campaigns like irfanpak or bounty detective. Im only reminding you that if you are joining in the campaign with your own risk.

The reward may be far from what you have expected and try to get also participation in the testnet campaign which has been actively published in several platforms.

This list was created last year, and I'm not guaranteed reliability for that list. It's caused by some bounty managers have decided to retire from running the bounty campaign.

There's no guarantee to earn on your participation on bounty campaigns since there are lots of scam there. Maybe the chances to earn in that option is less since usually either devs will not pay after their campaign ends their token will not be listed on any good exchange. But if you can able to take risk and spend sometime participating on those campaign then I guess just take your best shoot for selecting and try to earn by luck. If you earn with that then fine but if not then its still ok then just find another new one to try your luck again.

But what I can suggest you is to join on airdrop since the hype is there and maybe you can earn more decent profit than spending some time and effort joining on those bounty campaigns.

I want to join some bounty campaign to have some extra income....but looking at the bounties section..it is very confusing and I am not able to decide what to join,I don't want to waste time in some scam projects.
