Topic: How to get free merit (Read 2050 times)
there is no such free merit..merits are given to those users who has a lot of experience in this king of business. i am having a hard time getting those merits eventhough my post are useful or has a sense. unlike others who is given merits but when you look at their post, the post is not that great.
Everyone now in the forum specially low ranked users has only one target : how can I get free merit points , I have the solution for you :
1- improve your writing style
2- try to read posts before relying so you don't repeat something already said
3- improve your English or just stay in your local board
4- try to avoid participating in signature campaigns because this is the big issue in this forum and the reason of the low quality posts nowadays

It would have been better if you made the heading like how to get merit. Writing it as free merit gives a thought of possibility for paid merit as well.
I am sure that having good English helps you write constructive posts but this is not the compulsory requirement for a quality post. The intentions and attitude of the member should also be considered.
I just used the word free only to get more attention for the topic because I know that this could be an attraction , the message that I'm trying to send is there are a lot of opportunities in the forum to get money easier than trying to be enrolled in signature campaign , when I joined this forum my intention was to get information and get more closer to the cryptocurrencies world but when I understood the purpose of this forum I tried to share my knowledge and my opinion also with others .I am sure that having good English helps you write constructive posts but this is not the compulsory requirement for a quality post. You yourself are carrying a signature, but
Merit system was created to stop spamming endemic and allocating merit points to only deserved threads. Therefore, merits are not totally free. Users should and have to do something to earn merits, specifically making contributions to the forum via their threads, topics, infographics, etc.
at least your word "Free" attracted a lot of treasure hunters, but they should remember that hunting gold was never so easy
And now he gave a merit back to DlA7, do you think its not an obvious act to send 50 merits and then after some months give some merit again? I really hate people like this they should get a red tag. 
Well, it's obviously merit farming. I have feeling before. Just waiting DT member to do it, Its time will coming in soon.

Same here!! The OP thought he could outsmart us by posting a qualifying post that could help people. So, if he got 50 merit points, no one would blame him or accuse him. It sounds very fishy for me to be honest. His idea was suggested by many other members on this forum and no one got 50 merit points. I do not see how this thread deserves many points. One merit point per user is enough if you ask me. Yep - a couple more candidates for the ignore list. Not that they appear to need my merits, but I'll use them for more deserving members.

I've just realized and it's shocked me.
No offense, but by looking the OP posts summary, it's counting +170 posts since merit system was implemented. And he got all these merits only on this thread, what a surprise he made!

5-make some 3 minutes thread about merit and send 50 merits from your high ranked account to your alt. Brilliant idea right? Good job OP, now all eyes is on you and your merit giver.
The merit system is part of the new social media rating concept " Proof of Brain " - it doesn't seem to have worked in this case.
I think other way how to get merit is just to be helpful to others, for example providing some service and in return you get not only paid for it but then you have a ground for asking for some merit.

This is very ironic for you. You advised people to avoid joining signature campaigns, but here you are. And I don't think not having a signature campaign would really give you a chance of receiving a number of merits. I mean it has nothing to do with it, simply it depends on the user. If that user can cope up to the required number of posts as well as having quality posts, then that's good. For example you have 20 posts requirement for that signature campaign, you could plan for a schedule like 5 posts per day. Making 5 quality post for the day is more than enough time to do so.
Joining signature campaign is not an easy money, Start with your posting skills, must be reliable and useful to the threads, Do something great with your post starting today.

I think newbies are able to receive merit if they can post in high quality, however for the tips above feeling weird for no 4....OP says that try to avoid participating in sigcam in other side there is signature in the profile....funny to me. 
Newbies and juniors should avoid joining signature campaigns. The reasons are that they are still new and the signature campaigns need better exposure for the business which initiated them. On the other hand newbies should work getting to know the forum and how everything works here. Read more than you write posts. Gradually you will be able to make constructive posts and in turn get merits to rank up as well. Its a slow and stedy race and not a shitposting spree to get paid.

Thank you so much for this tip mate! But I have one question and please answer me. Can a newbie can still receive merit Or it is only for Junior Member and above?
This was just your own means of farming for merit. I'm here like how the hell did you get 50merits for saying nothing. Maybe you just exchanges merits between your account but you should have done that reasonably and in buts not just dump the whole merit once. Try and correct your caption as it doesn't go well with your write up.
Your points are well on check. Especially the last one. Nothing is for free to get anything, one have to work their way out for it. If everyone is concerned so much about getting merits some persons might lose sight of what this forum is really about. I suggest for once, we all take a break from seeking to get merit and focus on learning which specifically is what the forum was built for.
