You can earn money typing captchas, search in services section. You can earn $8 for 10,000 captchas.
I think earn money from typing captchas is waste time like faucets 
Because to get 10,000 captchas need a lot of time.
Lets counting :
Maybe you can solve 1,000 Captcha in 1 hour.
1,000 = 1 hour
10,000 = 10 hour
and within 10 hours you just get 8$, too small not worth the time you spend in front of computer
there are advanced program that can solve captcha, tons of them in few minutes, like captcha sniper
but i cannot find those software on torrent, for trying if they really work...
Most of that program you mentioned is no longer worked for newest captcha or contain virus/spyware
Fortunately, few program still worked for simple captcha. But, i couldn't find it
