I’ve turned $1,000 into $100,000
I’ve turned $6,000 into $80,000
I’ve turned $11,000 into $550,000
and recently I’ve turned $4,000 into $90,000

With nothing to show for it…I’m a sharp sports bettor, but I always end up going all in. I can never be satisfied until it’s too late. I always need to go all in.

I’ve been reading comments from my last post (turning $4,000 into $90,000 and losing the entire $90,000), and I can’t help but feel like shit.

How do I get over the countless failures? I’ve been chasing the $1,000,000 dream for years.

How to get over it? just simply stop chasing it. You seem like beginning to get addicted and you feel like it's ok to lose when you go all in. When you start from the bottom, it almost impossible for you to hit $1m, why? simply because losing is inevitable and you're going to continue to experience it while you're gambling. You might have reached $90k but still you lose everything back at the start again.
I've got only one method to achieve that $1m, but it will need you to have a huge capital as well and then you put it all in, just one time and aim for the $1m. That's what you call huge risk huge reward. But I don't think there are a lot of people who courageous enough to do such thing, so forget about chasing it and enjoy gambling.

That's how gambling works tho. I mean, of course you'll feel terrible losing your all-in bet. To be honest If I were in your place, I would quit after a huge win. Setting goals in gambling is too difficult because you can't control it; only third-party people can, especially when we're talking about real-life events like football betting.

How do I get over the countless failures? I’ve been chasing the $1,000,000 dream for years.
Just stop thinking about gambling and focus on achieving your dream through alternative methods. Like winning 1 million $ from gambling is extremely difficult unless you happen to be one of the luckiest people on Earth or are willing to stake a LOT of money on low odds, which is also highly risky. It would be better for you to pursue your dream of earning 1 million $ through a less risky method than gambling. That's what I actually mean.

Initiate remembrance mode, okay? Game's not over until you tap out. Your narrative is practically oozing with that rags-to-riches charm, transforming a wee bit of investment into a full-blown bonanza. Hats off to that! But the hitch, as you've duly noticed, lurks in the labyrinth of making that bonanza play nice.

The call of the wild, the adrenaline rush of putting all your chips in one basket—it's an irresistible siren's song, even for those grizzled finance veterans. It's like an action flick, yeah, but seldom scribbles a happy ending in the long run.

Ever thought about sprinkling your windfall across other not-so-rollercoaster-y investment paths? Like putting your eggs in a few different baskets to dial down the gamble and invite a steady stream of greenbacks. Okay, it might not be the same adrenaline shot, but it could fortify your financial fortress. At the end of the day, isn't the real dream a comfy nest egg rather than an arbitrary 'milli' goal?

A good idea would be to withdraw the profits first and then start again from scratch. If you are successful at doing that repeat it with a reset button each day.
You said you turned small money into larger numbers. Take it and withdraw it, put it in a safe place where even you will have a hard time to have access with it or you will be too lazy to go in such efforts to cash it out and deposit it again to the gambling site.

There must be a plan. Follow it.
Your goal is $1 million but you are definitely doing it wrong. I think you want to make it with just one sweep, you never thought about saving all the money you made in gambling and just be shocked that you already reached the amount that you want. Mine is withdrawing if I reach a certain amount although it's not as high as your number, I already treat myself and my family a lot of times because of those profits.

You need to take a little break and do nothing because your mind keeps telling you to chase the $1,000,000 dream for years. You can achieve your dreams in gambling, but it's very hard to do. But if you manage to change and get big profits, you should take a short break to reduce tension after playing gambling.

If you don't want to lose more money, you should stop gambling when you get a big win. That can prevent you from losing all the winning money. Maybe it's a way to overcome failure or prevent losing money after getting a win.

Self-control are mising ~XD

My advice, did you in your gambling you are a person who also sell some stuff once you don't have money anymore to be gamble ? IMO, you should try to move your fund to another asset once you win a lot.

Avoiding hold rawr cash, to be avoided deposited again all for gambling. Example, you can turn into "GOLD" or maybe put your money into deposit with time lock at least minimum a years.

So, your winning get a hold and doesn't gonna to get effected once you get addicted. If you are a person who sell item or stuff for your gambling addicted, it's hard to do.

You just need to realize that its so bad to continue that attitude to go all in and bet like crazy , since the same issue will always happen. You need to have discipline and always be thankful for the winnings so that you always end up a winner if there's a chance or you are in lucky situation. But still its a good experience so just bounce back and became more better gambler so that you do better decisions on your next game time.

     -  What is that? from your 1000$ starting gamble you managed to grow 100k$? or instead of only losing 1000$ you lost 100k$? did I understand correctly? Because gambling is always a loss and always a win.

That's why if you always experience winning there are only two things, either you are really lucky or you use fraud. Today, the loss of gambling by players often in a casino is normal in gambling and cannot be changed.
I think he still losses $1k because this is where he starts and the rest $90k that he lost was only his profit but that is still regrettable. I already experience the same thing but only with a much smaller amount like under a thousand dollars. So, I know how suck it is @OP. What's more suck is that how many times we experienced this?

The question is why we never learn from such mistake. Well I guess I think that is because we always seek for adventure. To win other than being lucky and using cheats, there is also skills that are involved sometimes. Maybe the OP is only skillful and then combined with being lucky to be able to reach that far.

I'm quite impressed with how you managed to break your gambling records, using a solid planned out strategy to grow your capitals from small amounts to significant figures, despite the fact that you failed to keep track on it simply because you're desperate for more. I would suggest you take a break from gambling, and focus on your losses, digging out reasons why you're on a losing streak. Then You returned to the system, not in a state of urgency and never gamble with emotions or confidence, not expecting more because it's not built to always favor you, deep breathing is important. What stinks is gambling addiction; you can feel it draining you step by step.

People are really not content with what they have right now; just imagine your winnings; they are really big, and you can do a lot of things with them. For sure, you are addicted to gambling, as you said that you go all in. I think it is better to seek help. You are now betting big and winning at the same time, but you are still pursuing your goal. Just stop for a moment and think of your winnings and ask yourself, "Are you still continuing to do that method of going all in even though you are losing a lot? If yes, and you still continue, then you are really crazy.

I know it's hard mate, maybe the best thing to do is just stop chasing that $1,000,000 for now and just enjoy the winnings that you got in your last run. I mean personally for me, if ever I will have to turn $1,000->$100,000 that might be enough for me then.

Yes, we have our own dreams and chase it, but perhaps its better if you go back to the drawing board first and then just enjoy what you have won already and then not think about that $1,000,000 because it's going to be very very difficult, just saying.

Well although your digits are quite big compare to most other little gambler but one thing is certain in both which is the ability not to control yourself to stop whenever you have not reach your goal. and this problem is not experienced by only you and most certainly all type of gamblers. The ability to wait and pause when gambling seem to be very hard and it's always land the gambler in situation where he would be regretting why he hadn't done so.

I can't help but feel a mix of disgust and pity every time I read such bullshit stories. Seriously, where's the proof, man? All I see are empty claims and some fake bet slips that can be easily manipulated (we all know how easy it is to fake screenshots). So, you're such a big-shot gambler? Then why the hell do you need other people's money? You claim to have raked in $555,000 in just a month? Bravo! Just keep doing that a few more times, and voila, you're a freaking millionaire! Easy peasy.

But here's the kicker. Every few months, you pop up on the forum with the same old story. Are you that desperate for attention and validation from strangers? Or are you just trying to lure in gullible suckers to fall for your scam? Come on, we're not buying into your little game. Maybe one day you'll wake up and realize how pathetic you look. And who knows, maybe you'll actually do something worthwhile with your time instead of trying to deceive people. But I won't hold my breath.

Do you want to win 1,000,000$ at once? But what if you collect this amount in installments? If you add up all the winnings that you indicated, then an amount close to 1,000,000$ is collected. Start immediately putting aside part of the prize money and don't touch it until you reach the amount that you have been dreaming about for years.

90,000$, which you, as you say, won and lost, in fact, it turns out that you didn't even win. Because it's not in your wallet. Even relatively small amounts won will one day add up to an impressive amount, but this will not happen if you keep losing and losing those prizes. Press the brake in time.

I'll be depressed if I have a figure like that and I guess many gamblers will say the same thing, you are good at winning but bad at taking your profit, it seems you have a superiority complex that you think you can bring the house down.
That $1 million goal is almost impossible to reach you have to be more realistic, take down that $1 million goal and be more realistic and take a profit at the right time.
You're also chasing your losses and at the same time trying to reach an unrealistic goal, you will continue losing if you have this mindset.

There's nothing wrong with you than insatisfaction coupled with greediness, if you had applied the wisdom of taking the profits for investment on a profitable assets and using the initial stake back to gambling, you wouldn't have been in this kind of shoe because the more you keep attempting to hit big the more you realized loosing beyond measure, there are times you will also need some space to be able to rethink and plan well for the next steps, when you gamble, use the amount you can afford to loose, when you will, remove your profits and invest and return the capital back to gambling.

You are letting yourself to taken over by your greed. Create some rational plan for your playing sessions. Do not forget to implement it each time you gamble. From the plan you had, program or automate your decisions.
I suggest, if you won around your desired profit, stop the playing session and come back fresh. If you lose from that, accept it, pause for a while, then come again with a fresh mind.

This is not proven nor from my personal experience, but I think this discipline will help you with that issue.

I was just like you when I was addicted, but I was using lower amount of money if compared with the amount that you are using. Not that low, high for me. I did always went all in and I may see 20x in return, but at one point, I will fail and be broke again in depression.

Take gambling as fun and use little amount of money to win little instead which is better.

Great, if you really gamble and can make that much.
Multiplying capital so much is like a difficult thing to get from gambling, especially if it can be repeated many times because I believe that victory can only be obtained when lucky and without luck the gambler will only lose all of his money.
My question is, can you really get that much profit?
But the feeling of dissatisfaction when winning is always owned by gamblers. I'm sure if you manage to get $ 1000,000 then there will be a desire to be able to win even more, but winning $ 1000,000 is a dream in my opinion because the house edge will not let you get that much profit.

Well, you just don't need to go all in the next time you turn your profit into a huge one. The only one who can solve your problem is yourself but it doesn't just take overnight to get over with it, you need patience to yourself as well. I think you need a financial advisor if you still can't solve your problem, don't keep it all to yoursel, the thing with those who has problems is that they know it but they aren't seeking help to anyone especially an expert.
