Bounty can't be a scam, because it is a result of scam ICO, but sometimes delaying of payments can be considered as a scam.
There are many successful ICOs but they scam bounty. It is a very bad act and it causes the ICO to lose their reputation.
And we only know the scam bounty when they don't distribute to us

It's difficult to identify a scam bounty because both real and scam projects use the same ways of running  their bounty campaign. I think also the past record of the bounty manager said it all.

You must create your own criteria for selecting the right bounty campaigns. I personally always participate in campaigns from just one bounty manager.

Many advise to refer to the rating, but oddly enough, the ratings do not play a key role. I was subscribed to a project that had a very high icoBench rating, but when the project ended, they did not pay a single token.

Check the bounty website and see if it is transparent or not like amount of supply coins and roadmap. A good account will be transparent during pre-sale and sale of tokens. Most importantly you have to check the latest information from the bounty manager. Do it according to your own investigation and find the information clearly before joining a bounty program

My recipe:

1) Take part in many bounties.

2) Admit that 70% of them are scams.

3) Face it and go on doing tasks.

4) Get rich with those 30% that are valuable and honest projects.

5) Be happy to have such an opportunity Smiley

It is so hard to determine the bounty as a scam, even if you try to research the whole team and study their platform it is still unpredictable for payment once the member would run after the payment all is gone, we are luck if we point the bounty who would strongly deliver their payment until their project is done...

How do you know if it is a scam? Because I have encountered a bounty that let me finish all the translations first and didn't respond to me after I have passed it. I hope bounties will not be like this anymore because they demand and we did our part but they didn't do theirs. I hope you could answer my question.
In my opinion the most important thing what You should do a research: the team members and the project behind (do they have real plans, value) and also You can have a look on their website how "good" is it.

Scammers do not try to try to create a site and therefore you can see different errors loading or performance of the site, you can still pay attention to the project team.

define bounty scam is hard to do. but at least there are indeed things awkward and certainly, it can be used as an indication of the light for the scam. good sales on the website but when I saw this wallet no incoming funds certainly made an indication that this is a scam. fake team and rarely active in the social media they are also things that have to be doubted or questioned.

i   think   you  can  understand  if   a  project  is  scam  or not   by   making  research   and  also  you can  look   for  the  projects  population and  future..

Well, I communicate with the admins, and then you can already look at their mood and the project , but of course it's better to choose good projects in your opinion and do them , but of course the Scam will be gravely caught this can not be avoided

There is no sure thing to determine scam. There could be some good projects with luck of social media or lazy bounty managers and also bad ones with lot of social activities and bright paper around imagined candy. More bounties you make, more chance to get some profitable ones and gain experience.

If they suddenly get lost?  Cheesy If they do KYC all of a sudden?  Cheesy If they didn't give the reward as promised? But seriously there's no best way to know since it all depends on the team or one of the team if they will run. Some projects even they have good flags in most areas to look at and after they get the money they will be blind by the amount and run or one of them does.

To begin with, you have to learn how to choose them and define them according to many factors. You need to distinguish a quality website, study whitepaper, learn everything about the team and much more. Learn to study everything carefully and not just look at the pictures and make a decision.

There is actually no device to determine that a particular bounty will be a scam but indeed there are some parameters to always look out for. Even though those parameters are also not a hundred percent assurance but rather they help to minimize the risks of falling for scam projects. The profile of the team behind the project is very important to help detect either the project is authentic or not. The feasibility of the project and how organized the team is also helping to do the job.Look out for transparency as well. For now, because there is no regulatory body to check fraud, we need to help ourselves by reading well before doing a bounty.

it is very difficult to recognize a project that will be a scam and what is not, there is no special feature to recognize a scam project because scam or not a new project will be revealed after ico is finished again at first it all looks the same, depending on the motive of the team making an ico if from the start really just want to cheat then as good as any concept and convince any whitepaper to eventually scam

Bounty scams usually spend all in advertising, you know. If they just make a very noisy words and don't do anything else, it would be a scam.
