i do go on my favorite exchange and check the daily trading volume and try to make money on the first three coins that has the highest volume. the right time to buy is when the coin is in the rock bottom, from there, you will make profit.

The market situation is uncontrollable, but with my current position of short term investing to find daily or weekly profits because I think this is a good time to look for a small profit while waiting for the graph to return to normal .. 
Easy you go to where the coin is and get it. If you think it is a bearish situation yet then hold off. If you believe the bottom has hit, then hop in doesn't get simpler than that.
Depends for what period you are buying that coin,if you are looking for a long term hodl if you chose the correct altcoin market situation doesnt really matter.Buying coins short term in bear period isnt really smart tbh because risk/reward ratio aint worth it

If you have a big doubt and dont willing to take a risk,better back off man.This market now has a partly gambling,that needed to take chances just to earn .
But if you think you really want to invest then buy the top ten coins so you may have big chance of not losing
