The government has its hands full in a lot of other issues, and bitcoin being as small as it is now, with its own issues as well, will never be considered by governments as their primary currency. Also, governments are still after stability, which can’t be said of bitcoin right now. Things could change in the future as we are headed towards a more modernized era where infrastructure and technology are being improved to make our lives better and our transactions faster and hassle-free.
A bitcoin might be a huge forum for any individual or a group of individuals. The issue is that being an individual I have my own opinion. I only think of myself or maybe of the whole world. But governments have their own way of dealing things. They don’t prefer to take risks like an individual. Nor do they take decision like any X, Y, Z etc. They go through a proper mechanism of even when adopting things. I thing it is too early to discuss that any government will do it for now.

Government wont accept it, one of the main reasons why bitcoin is so hard to become legalized it's because of it's anonymity.
Government's cant track the sources of it's income so they cant implement taxes to a bitcoin users
Will for me bitcoin is fine the way it is and i can spend it the way i want.

I agree with you. The government will never take bitcoin. This could lead to the collapse of the economy. This solution is especially dangerous for countries with a weak economic system
yes you are right that the government will never adopt bitcoin because bitcoin is not know by all the people as illiterate people of a country does not know about bitcoin they only know fiat that is why first bitcoin will need to introduce to all the the people then there is possibility that bitcoin will accept by government.

On the contrary, I think the government will likely accept bitcoin. However, they will just accept bitcoin as a mode of payment and not as an official currency. Fiat will still be the major money that will be circulated in the economy. We cannot force government to accept bitcoin and also, the government cannot force their countrymen in using bitcoin since not all people are capable in doing so.

I agree with you that Bitcoin can be a part of the economy but not embraced as the major one and the fact is that government can't govern Bitcoin hence it is still impossible but if they manage to find a way to govern it then Bitcoin's possibility to be use as their national currency will be probable though fiat is tough to deal with, with its influence with the culture up to the face of the authority of the government in its citizens.

I cannot see any way that the government can actually govern bitcoin. Bitcoin is decentralized, anywhere in this world has bitcoin (by anywhere I mean anywhere with internet access) so how come that a government of a specific country could govern bitcoin. Another, bitcoin is anonymous, how can the government track its citizens if they cannot identify who has bitcoin or who uses bitcoin. I know it's a big IF but I would like to hear ideas on how the government will govern bitcoin.
You have a huge point , but I think if the government wants to govern the bitcoin the government can create its own wallet app and let it use by the citizens. This is the questions , how can the government make the citizen use the wallet. They can have a partnership with the banks , foodchains or anything that can make the citizens easy to use bitcoin localy. I think thats a way on how can government can govern bitcoin. Its just in my mind it is not absolutely an superb way.

hard enough to make the government recognize bitcoin, bitcoin prices are very volatile moreover, each country also has a currency different to the transaction. But in this flat world of the Internet, we can use bitcoin transactions very easily and quickly

For me its hard to legalize and accept bitcoin by the government because of its anynomity and cant easily to track it transactions. And, there are many to consider things before it will happen.
Governments are not afraid of bitcoin because of its anonymity, Money laundry, illegal activities, or any other shit that have been spread all over the hypocritical Media. They are afraid of Bitcoin because of its decentralization, it cannot be controlled, nor manipulated. It's the contradiction of the bank idea – making people become their own banks!

If India were to legalize Bitcoin like Japan did, it would be great news for both Indians and Bitcoin price.

In India, we were to see Bitcoins being banned due to ill knowledge and unnecessary assumptions about Bitcoins' usage breaking the anti-money laundering policies, but as many big lawyers joined their hands together and came up to fight against these BS being created by media here, they asked everyone to sign a petition which will ask governments to declare Bitcoin as legal here in the country and let us trade it freely... We will be getting a decision over this tomorrow, and I hope that after Japan's step of legalizing Bitcoins' usage there, India won't be left behind too... Smiley

I have a question for you. How to make governments accept bitcoin and not see it as a threat? So that one could use bitcoin in daily use, such as paying taxes or grocery shopping. What is there, other than anonymity, thats making governments fear bitcoin and cryptocurrencies?

It's possible for them to accept it if they can find a way to monitor Bitcoin well in order to put taxes on it ofcourse which will symbolize that their jurisdiction of the government throughout its citizens is still in their authority. It can happen but for now it may not or it is very rare that the government have accepted Bitcoin
Its not possible for government that they would able to monitor bitcoin transactions anytime and as bitcoin users we do really know such thing this is impossible to happen thats why most government wouldnt allow bitcoin to be legalized or being adopted on a certain country it would takes time and many meetings regarding on its adoption and for sure many would really oppose this idea.
- Very difficult, bitcoin is a virtual currency, monitoring it is impossible, every day there are millions or billions of bitcoin transactions appear, the government can not monitor all and the government does not have a method to solve the problems will happen when accepting bitcoin
- And many people do not want the government to accept bitcoin because they have to pay taxes, that loses their income. The government accepts Bitcoin will limit the development of future Bitcoin, Bitcoin need a best development space without the management and monitoring of anyone

It is really hard to make governments accept bitcoin. Because as it is considered as a great threat to the economy of a country. But we all know that nothing is impossible in the world. So, we can show the positive attitude as well as assertive side of bitcoin slowly. Then the task can be solved easily.

Well, in my own opinion there is a good side if the government will accept bitcoin and there are a lot of bad sides too. But looking at the goodside at least if this will happen our currecy can be one and the value of money worldwide will be the same at one point. But of course there are bad sides like the differences in taxes or the value of important and export for each country.

We don`t need to make them do anything, they will do it by them selves. Recent example is Russia, they will legalize bitcoin so they can track every transaction. I think in one point every country will wish to do the same, they like to control things. This can be a good thing for bitcoin, but in same time cause of this many people that use bitcoin will turn to some coin that offers more anonymity then bitcoin.

Let us believe on the saying that let everything moves by itself in time. Japan, Indonesia and Russia are good example of countries that are placing the effort on adopting bitcoins into their payment system. Aside from that Switzerland and the Philippines have also accepted bitcoins along with other countries. Since bitcoin is valuable and useful financial analyst of different countries will surely suggest and move for the use of bitcoin in certain countries.

What i sense is that if government will accept bitcoin there will still be restriction to to its use, government itself will want to consider how well it will pay them.but for now government is not rejecting it.

The government accepts bitcoin but that does not mean that they will restrict bitcoin transactions. In fact, if the government accepts bitcoin, they will place an extra fee on every transaction we make, which means we will have to pay twice (mine fees and government fees). given). This is totally bad for all of us. So, I like a free bitcoin in every country like the present.

Now we don't have any restrictions and conditions to use Bitcoin, and we just need to pay an extra fee for every transaction. But once the goct accept Bitcoins then many rules and restrcitions will start. and they will put limit for BTC transaction and they start to collect extra tax for every transaction.

Well it is a possibility that has a low chance in becoming which in other words impossible. The whole system of Bitcoin, on how it works or as it is, makes it impossible to transform it to be an ideal asset and for the government to legalize it because there are factors which can't be change and stay as what it is.
