             -     Setting a budget for me is the most important thing that all gamblers should learn. Because when gamblers get used to this, whether they are rich or not, they will certainly be able to apply what is called self-control and self-discipline.

Of course, that's how you appear to be a responsible gambler at any casinos you enter or deposit their money into. This has been said many times by other communities, but most gambling communities ignore it.

limiting the budget we allocate for gambling is good. doing so requires gambler discipline, besides limiting betting or playing time can also be done to train gamblers' self-control.

bad habits of gamblers are being too happy with the game or too comfortable playing. sometimes it makes gamblers forget the situations that should actually be avoided. being responsible for gambling is not as simple as we think. even though we know, we also often violate the limits we set ourselves.

It boils down to a person we are referring to, but, you are right Grin
It's each responsibility to follow what is good for a person to follow.
If you don't - it's your loss, and you can't blame anyone except yourself.

Cant wait for people to stop thinking about how to win maximum with minimum loss and make it quick and easy as possible. For me what OP wants to do is similar to trying to get dry from the water. If with some part of his wish it is possible to do something, with self-control try to decrease time dedicated to gambling, then that part that is about «maximum and minimum» in gambling should be forgotten, as it is impossible. That just dont work with gambling. Luck cant be regulated.

I agree with what you posted: OP, bankroll/capital management is crucial, and of course, it is the "responsible gaming" part of gambling. It's important to master it. Mastering it will help you get and stay in control, make informed decisions, and always have a good relationship with gambling. It is making sure that you are not addicted to it.

One thing that you overlook and people fundamentally get wrong from the very beginning is: you must know if you can even win long term in the game, because otherwise you are only managing a steady decline. You could call it bankroll management if you are limiting how much you spend each day, but it's used most often in the context of poker that has variance involved. The only variance going on for the majority of other casino games is how fast you lose your money, as the house has engineered the odds in their favor.
Well, The Another important info for those betting is to know the possibility of coming out the winner when bet is placed is of essence. Otherwise, it’s just throwing money away all the time, which gets rather annoying very quickly. That’s where money management comes into the picture since knowing how much one can spend each day can prevent one from spending a lot of money and losing all at once. This is something I have come across while playing poker and actually it applies to any game of chance.

In most of the other casino games, variance is more of how soon you can be out of your cash as the house always has an edge that is already coded in the probabilities. That is why: it is necessary to know the rules and coefficients of each type of a game, and set the limits for yourself. Thus, there is no question that you can enjoy the game with or without it affecting your financial might without being too big.
Like in life, poker is about coming up ready rather than only about showing up. Knowing the chances is not only wise but also absolutely vital. Knowing how to handle your money is not just smart; it also makes all the difference between a great night and a financial catastrophe. Listen; casinos are not charitable entities. Thats OK; they are meant to be profitable. The home edge is system-built; it is not a secret. That does not mean, nevertheless, that you cannot prevail. It just indicates that you have to be wiser than the typical gamer.

And what then is the secret? Create boundaries. Before you ever sit down at the table, find out how much you are ready to lose. And stay to it. That is discipline, people; that is what distinguishes the victors from the losers. Then know the chances. Discover both inside and outside game rules. Calculate it mathematically. Your decisions will be better the more you know. And you are more likely to succeed the better your decisions are.

No matter the type of financial system you implement to control your gambling habits always take note of one thing, never use more than 10 percent of your income no matter how tempting it is, if you end up losing that 10 percent do not gambe again that month and wait till the next month before gambling again,..this is one of the best way to ensure that you stay within your limit and in control of your finances, sometimes I wish I have been following this system, I wouldn't have had so much losses this year, but life is all about learning.. it's better late than never...The last part you made about playing safe is also very crucial, make sure your risks are always calculated, this doesn't guarantee Profit though but it will definitely minimize your losses
Yep, that is a good advice not to use more than 10 percent so your losses will not be too big. Maybe he can separate 10 percent for a month so he can use that amount to play gambling for many times in a month. But that needs a good control to prevent the temptation from gambling.

If that 10 percent will be used for one time in a month, that will makes you curious with your losses. That can makes you return to casino and use the other money to gamble. That is why you must have a good control to avoids the will of playing gambling.

Playing gambling must be careful to avoid the losses. When you get the win, you don't have to think about maximizing your winning by continue gambling. That may give you more losses because there is no guarantee you can win in the next games.

Gamblers in Early stage, lost a lot because they don't set any rules to follow but keep staking randomly with excitement. That's why it is important to follow some rules and discipline which will help money management and control gambling habits. Furthermore will help you, not to become addicted in gambling.

Being a first time gambler actually comes with lots of excitement because I also experienced it. When you start gambling newly, you'll be overwhelmed with excitement to win without thinking of risk management but at times goes and when reality begins to set in, you'll have a rethink and design a plan for yourself else you'll end up losing more than you can imagine and probably end up getting addicted.

Your 1st and 3rd point can be marge together, like set a Gambling Budget from 5-10% of your monthly salary or income from others sources. 2nd point is good enough, better to divide funds so that you can enjoy more games and you can manage when you need more money to inject. 4th point should be given more priorities. Gamblers must monitor and focus on their winning and losing graph. It helps them to understand what's going on in their gambling life and they they could change their strategy if need and change their gambling habits.

The issue of setting a budget from your timely salary or other incomes depends on what you earn and how often you play gambling. Making it a habit of allocating certain percentage on a regular basis speaks volumes of addiction. I will have to agree with your last point because having knowledge and able to compare the margins between your wins and loses give you insight and probably change your pattern of gambling.

Gambling is just gambling, don't think too much about it. Winning and losing is normal, but if you always lose and never win then stop.
It should be kept in the "Fun" domain and things will work out nicely.

Its just like having a budget on how much alcohol or sweet/eating out you can have every month and then sticking to that. By doing this budgeting or in gambling terms, "bankroll management" you can reduce your spending on gambling but while having fun and in the long term realize how much you could have saved if you did not gamble, hence giving you the willpower to keep on reducing your gambling habits.

If someone does this, they will feel they are back in control of their addictions and that will motivate them.
A very good context you used there, but you possibly forgot to mention the possibility of also winning and making profit on the money spent for the gambling, unlike the money spent on alcohol/drinks and or eating out which does not give the spender the chance of getting the money back or making any profit off it, the only profit therein is the pleasure the person gets from the alcohol drink or the meal he or she eats.

But then overall, all you have to said true, it's a simplified way to explaining how simple and easy gambling can really be if only we can treat it the right way it should, cus in the end, those who are gambling for fun mostly end up as the true winners.

Going straight to the point I want to talk a little about bankroll management and how we can effectively practice this to optimize our gambling wins and also help control excessive gambling habits.

Starting off as an early gambler can be a lot of challenging going through loses and even getting through those early stages of unguided addiction, this was a case for me cause I can remember how to struggle to get myself in oder for a while when I started taking gambling serious for a while, most of us enjoy gambling and would gamble more often than others and its quite needful that we don't overdo it.

Many of you already know about bankroll management and might already be practicing It even If not fully but however i would enjoy to share my view on bankroll management and how to practice it in your own way.

Bankroll management by definition refers to the strategies and techniques used to manage your betting funds effectively, ensuring you can withstand losing streaks and maximize your winning potential.

To practice bankroll management there are a few tips you must know:

1. Set a budget: to me this is the most important part of bankroll management and I know a lot of persons most already practice this, why I consider this the most important is cause if you have set out how much you are willing to give to gambling that is the first step to self control and even if only this is kept you can effectively practice you would have no problem with addiction.

2. Divide your bankroll or budget: this is just spliting your allocation into smaller parts, so that you can easily control how you spend it on gambling, why this is important is cause at times we might find ourselves in situations where we want to stake too high that it might include a huge portion of our budget and if we lose or spend so much too early when the allocated time for the vmbudget to last has not elapsed or is closed to then we can be tempted to add more funds or take out of our extra cash to gamble again.

3. Determine and manage your bet size: why i recommend this step is that this way you get to spend as you should on each bet, I'm normally a high staker so i would allocate up to 5-15% of my budget to each game I should play and its depends on the odds or how confident I am and my risk tolerance with respect to each game.

4. Play safe: we have always monitor and adjust our bet size and allocation with respect to how much we have lost or how well we are winning so that we can stick to our budget and manage it through out our playing time, also dont chase loses cause it could throw you off track, try to take a break and have rest when you lose money and stick to the budget.

By implementing these strategies, you'll be able to:

- Extend your betting longevity
- Reduce the risk of significant losses
- Maximize your potential winnings
- Enjoy a more sustainable and enjoyable betting experience

Remember, Bankroll Management is essential for responsible and successful gambling. It helps you stay in control, make informed decisions, and maintain a healthy relationship with gambling.

You nailed it TheUltraElite. It can be a good advice to set a max percentage of your weekly/monthly income and not allocate more than that to betting, alcohol and other leisures. But it should be revised from time to time, because if you only think "I allocate a 5% to drink", for example, the you may drink until you spend that money, even without pleasure, which makes little sense but that's how many of us think.

So it is good to be aware of the fun, not simply automating the habit, and stop even if you didn't spend what you can afford, if you got satisfied with less.

Gambling is just gambling, don't think too much about it. Winning and losing is normal, but if you always lose and never win then stop. Gambling was created as a way to have fun, but anyone who wants to try it must be prepared to lose their budget. Gambling was clearly not created for people who rely solely on luck, but many people gamble in casinos because they want to try their luck.

The wrong mindset towards gambling will cause gamblers to fall into various problems. Of course there is a way out, but they must really realize that they should not gamble if the goal is only to win and never be ready to lose. Just like non-gambling games, it will be addictive, but there are definitely ways to minimize its impact and one of them is setting some limits.

W should always gamble responsibly and have it in mind that gambling is not by force or a must to win event, we are to do it willingly as according to how we can afford on it, learn about gambling, some of its interesting strategies in other to win, also, concerning the our gambling habit in which is expected of us to use so as to achieve a having the best gambling experience for ourself, we must have to always keep to learning each time an opportunity show for that.

The problem always arises from the fact that most people don't like to lose, even if it wasn't a game that didn't involve money, people wouldn't accept losing. And when it involves money the situation gets worse. For example, someone takes $10 and gambles in a casino, then that person loses all $10. That person will start to think about what he would have done if he had taken the $10 and not used it to gamble. He starts to think that he could have spent the $10 at the beach or gone drinking with friends or gone to an amusement park. The more he thinks about losing the $10, the more he starts to develop a feeling of revenge.

He starts to think about gambling again so he can recover all the money he lost. He will get money to gamble again. It turns out that when he gambles again, he will lose everything and become frustrated. But since he has a feeling of revenge, he will continue to gamble because he thinks he can recover all the money he lost in the casino or betting shop. Unfortunately, the end for these people is not good. They become addicted, steal money and end up in jail or dead. There are few cases in which people put gambling aside and live their lives. That's why it's so important to just play for fun.

We should always gamble responsibly, which is something all of us want to do, but most people find it hard to adhere to the rules of responsible gambling. The reason is that they have the wrong motive in mind before they come into gambling, and with the mindset that I know everything and don't want to take simple corrections from others, a lot of gamblers have made big mistakes that have resulted in big losses without them even realising it.

Being a gambler who has good responsibility for all the decisions and actions they make is a skill that is always recommended and this does not only apply to gambling, but also to everything we do in life.

On the other hand, you said a pretty good reason why there are some gamblers who always find it difficult to apply responsibility for all the decisions and actions they have made, where the problem lies in their minds which from the start were wrong in responding to what and how gambling really is, feeling that they are great usually it will appear in their minds when at the beginning of their involvement they managed to win, they think that they have managed to get the key or have managed to crack the code, and clearly this mindset can trigger crazier actions.

In the end I think nothing else will tell about their mistakes other than the significant regret they feel, although one regret does not always make a change, but I am sure that when everything gets much worse over time then they will also realize their real mistakes. Experience is always the best teacher.

4. Play safe:

It would really be composed of these things

•Bankroll management
•Self limits in terms of loses and so as when winning
•Never make yourself that being impulsive
•Dont make yourself that delusional or simply having that realistic approach
•Withdraw once you do have that profit

You wont really be able to find gambling to be problematic if you are someone whose really that responsible towards your actions.
People do really messed up their lives just because of being that irresponsible towards their decisions. They do think that they could really be
able to milk out gambling and make themselves rich in no time.

Never ever put up into your mind with that kind of positivity because once you do have this kind of thinking then it would really be
just that making you that desperate and impulsive on which its a no-go here in gambling or betting space. This is why you should
really be that mindful and careful on every actions and decisions that you would really be taking.
