i think best signature campaigns doesn't accept who's still low ranks like us and it's hard to find one that accepts low ranks.
I take risks and join to long term signature campaigns. I usually earn good money. I don't think you should definitely join a short term campaign.

I think you must read the whitepaper then rate it by yourself then decide if you will join their signature campaign but for me this campaign is not the best for us who have low ranks, this campaign is just an additional stakes from other campaigns you have joined. 
taking part in bounty is really helpful and profitable in my experience to spot a best bounty is to look for the project on what it is offering I usually check the projects background aims and vision it usually goes to the team and how they managed well in the telegram and how they entertain their bounty participant most those admins who entertains there members are really legit.
Give importance to the campaign manger managing the campaign. If a reputed manger is looking after it, there is nothing to worry about it.
Choosing Facebook/Twitter Campaign is really different from signature Campaign! Usually the distribution percentage of rewards is higher than FB and Twitter. The allocated is better so choosing the Signature Campaign is one thing that we should not take for granted. More study is required what to choose. I prefer you to find a popular bounty manager they have the most trusted signature campaign that are managing in their listed. And I think you better stay to him or if your not satisfied on his managing skill find again another manager like him to try his campaign that you can compare their managing skills and think if which of them will you gonna stay for a 99% best signature campaign.
For me the best technique in choosing the best signature campaign is to check if a senior member is promoting the campaign. Then I check if there is a spreadsheet and I make sure that all my posts are being listed in the spreadsheet. This gives me assurance that my effort are not being wasted.
there are lot of things you should do to pick the best signature campaign. First you should have an account with a rank atleast jr. Member because most of the successful signature campaign needs a requirements which is your rank. Second is look and read their projects and aims that you can read in the whitepaper. I think first of all, I don't like long bounty campaigns, if I see that bounty campaign will last a very long time, then I will not take part in it. And of course I am looking for the project, I will not join a bad ico, because it could be a scam
