Yes, i agree that controlling our emotions is very important in gambling. While playing if we have control of our mind and our Bankroll is the first safe method in gambling. If you follow this method means you will save more money. And playing with a small amount and placing low odds bet is smart gambling.

That is the smartest strategy as you gamble and if you able to manage your own emotion properly and you can handle losses and unexpected scenarios.

Then for sure you are just going to be calmed as it comes, because many are not able to manage their emotions properly.

We really should treat gambling as a form of entertainment not a money milking machine because it wont happen anytime soon inface it would really suck up all of your money on long runs. That's smart, and probably what others are not seeing..When they are losing, they keep on betting instead of stopping, thinking and reorganize themselves.. The title asks how to play smartly and not how to completely quit for good. And I would say that if you are already experiencing losing on a streak. Then better if you are going to take a rest first, stop for today and gamble again tomorrow. You just need to take some fresh air in able to recover your losses. And when you are winning, then save already some of your winnings don't let the house recover it.

It is only good to play in the long run if you are a professional gambler and you are not playing in a gambling game that has a house edge. Some also succeed like in sports betting as there is no house edge and we can analyze the game before we put our bets.
