As long as you can afford to gamble and have fun it's a smart way to gamble. If you are really on a losing streak then walk away. Most gambling is luck based and you have to know when you are ahead to stop.

Precisley, that strategy I have been used when the time I was used to gamble. When the previlage is come and I win, I used to store the half so that even if I tend to play again I have my winnings and same if I lose. However, I realize that every time I play I loss and it doesn't mean I have no enough luck, maybe true but even if you have luck there' still a high chance for you to lose that is why I stay away from it and earn in a better way. When we gave enough time to any project for sure there will be a positive results we get. Same like that for gambling we not give up there will be the time come to win and get profit from gambling very comfort. An addicted gambler can never stop himself when he see he is winning because his addict make him gamble more by making him think he can win even more than what he has won right now and that is why they gamble again and lose everything.

I know there are some gamblers who are not being eaten by their greed and addiction they just play for satisfaction and there's people who are already addicted and will suffer withdrawal symptoms if they stop, so if the OP is not a person who are addicted to gambling then my advise is to set limits and practice to control his emotions.
I agree! It's easy to advise but it's really hard to do it if you're in their shoe. I'm pretty much sure he can't do it if he's into gambling. When you starts to gamble, you can never avoid being addicted into it because when you starts to win, you wanted to feel the pleasure of winning again and again and hoping to earn more profit. And when you lose, you wanted to get back all the money you've lose. It just go round and round. And you didn't notice, you became hook into that game that will resulted into being addicted. It is really better not to start gambling coz you knew what will happen. I guess, most people gamble not because of entertainment purposes but to earn profit, so its better to avoid gambling.

In my own opinion, to gamble in a smart way you like in a game of poker you should know how to analyze a oppoment for you to know if they are bluffing or no and so you would know if you need to fold or to play.
