give me five minutes i will link all the shit you need.

please show me a photo of the receptacle out he gave to you.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/174407469460?

that is the exact pdu you need.

but i do not know what receptacle he gave to you so you may need to swap the plug or the receptacle.

give a minute to find the correct power cables

https://www.ebay.com/itm/184114573116?

the pdu has four receptacles

you will use 3 of the four

you need three of those wires.

so three wires and one pdu.

I do not know those sellers.

the prices on the wires were pretty good.
the pdu price was okay.

ie if you really look hard you may find the same pdu cheaper.

but please show me the receptacle on the power outlet so i can see if the plugs match

some advise ask us before you call the power guy so we can show you proper receptacle.

the gear i linked is under 100 bucks.

not sure about plug receptacle

Ok, here is the splitter arrangement I was looking at: https://www.amazon.com/30-amp-splitter/s?k=30+amp+splitter

I am considering what else I need...a surge protector at one end and two prong converters at the other end. What do you think?

Thanks for the convo, not too many people to talk to about this stuff. Smiley

Not sure where you are located so the plugs / versions will be different but what you are looking for is a PDU.

Ok, thank you, I could not remember "pdu" and my searches weren't turning up anything useful!

I had a special line installed by an electrician: 2 pole 30 amp receptacle which has 5760 watts available.

s19 = 3250W
s15 = 1600W

So anyway, I thought I saw some forked cables around or maybe there is some kind of power strip for 30amp? Do I need a pdu? Is it meant to smooth erratic power? I think I have a good steady supply.

BTC price road to $80k
The normal amp outlet for most homes is 15 amps so if you have an s15 miner and planning to run two miners in one outlet it should be 2x1596W=3192w.
Then for the outlet 15x230v=3450w, this should be how much can outlet can handle.

According to some miners, the outlet shouldn't be over 80%, so the two s15 couldn't run in one outlet unless you can run the miner at low power mode. You will need to modify your home circuit and replace 30 amp wiring and breaker so that it can handle two miners in one outlet or much better consult to Electricians.

Not sure where you are located so the plugs / versions will be different but what you are looking for is a PDU.

Something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Rack-Pdu-Basic-14-4KW-208V/dp/B000FLWCLE/
or this: https://www.amazon.com/Tripp-Lite-Metered-L6-20P-PDUMH20HVL66/dp/B08SZ77TFZ/

Those models are designed to be rack mounted but you get the idea.

Due to the massive power needs of miners make sure the one you get can handle the load.

For the most part you are usually better off getting dedicated runs for each miner but if you can't if the circuit can handle it you can use PDUs.

Hello, I have a couple of s15 miners that were hosted previously. Also interested in buying an s19. Anyway, I'm wondering how to safely plug two miners into one plug. Maybe I remember some years ago a PMS was mentioned on the forum? Or maybe there is just some forked cabling?

Thanks!
