I observed no one get interested on bitcoin just by words of mouth. The best way is to show them.
1. How can they have bitcoins (start with teaching them how to have bitcoin wallet and earning thru faucets)
2. The most important part is teach them how to actually withdraw or exchange their bitcoins to fiat or how they can use it like buying something thru bitcoins. (To see is to believe)

In the process, they'll eventually become more interested learning more on their own (mining, trading, etc...)  after learning how can bitcoin be useful to them.

I will told him to search in internet

This is a wrong idea.. you will just give them burden and pointing them to a wrong direction... what if they too find out about faucets? and those ponzi schemes?   Smiley

nowadays there are a lot of good youtube videos available that describe everything about bitcoin with beginner-friendly language that makes it easy to understand it. if i had not lost my bookmarks i would have posted some here but you can find it by searching.

also i think the best way is to giveaway some amount to start them off and show them how to send/receive bitcoin in action and not just in theory.

I think this all depends on if the person you are presenting to is interested or not
It becomes harder to explain if they are not showing any interests
If they are interested, just explain it the way you see bitcoin.

Yes like the one I stated above.

One more thing, I presented this to my little sis just last week and showed ther the same way I present btc first to other newcomers.

She never received anything until now but the eagerness is there to learn. For the meantime, after finishing some basics way to start in btc world, I advice her to browse this forum. She saw me that Im making money thru bitcoin earnings as my part time while at the same time I have real life job, that is the reason why she like to learn.

From this we can see that it really depends on the people if they want to enter btc world whatever way we showed them about btc.

talk about btc than send to him some satoshi, most likely they'll love, just for the fact of keeping money in mobile, and whitout a bank

Some people find it difficult to understand how btc works
It's not something they can see or physically hold
That's what most people have gotten used to over these years.

Like me I didn't knew what bitcoin was I was also not interested, but when I earned money with faucets I just begun doing it. I think you need to tell them how to earn a lot of money with just bitcoin and the potential going up.

Honestly it all depends of eargerness of people to learn. For a newbie, even you send him some nice satoshis as first present to BTC, still it is not an assurance he will try to learn more.

I present BTC first to some newbies by showing them my weekly earnings. Some become interested and really engaged in the world of faucets until they left it and began focusing on other method. Others stopped their journey thinking it's really a long way to earn bitcoin. See the difference? I showed them the same way but it's really depend on the people you are showing if they will continue or not.

Start by giving them free coins maybe around 10$, tell them to buy something online and they'd be interested.  Money is a great motivation, it can do miracles and so introduce them to online wallet first, maybe blockchain.  I just hope what you get in return will be much valuable, you can come up with something.

That's not too bad of an idea

It will give them some sense of how it works when they buy something online

I think it will also be a good idea to explain on how they can earn more bitcoins

That is great to give them 10 dollars I think they should try to trade with that so they can see how much you can earn. Also is very nice if you let them know about faucets is just nice to do in your free time.
Don't forget for altcoins this just a good resource to know more about bitcoin.

Tell them it´s a digital currency.
Some people will be quite confused if tell them like that, showing them how to use bitcoin they will much like it..

Exactly, giving them more detail would help out a lot

How it works is a better option to explain this to them.

You're right, because day-to-day fiat functions very well.  People get paid in fiat and pay rent in fiat and everything else.  Why would I suggest that someone exchange their relatively stable currency for a digital one whose volatility can be breathtaking and whose legal status is subject to the whims of government?  And a currency that offers none of the protections that banks offer?

These are the questions I can't seem to answer myself.

Even after also, people love to convert their fiats into bitcoin just for the faith they have on bitcoin ecosystem. The mentioned problems like volatility, regulation law are will fade away in time. I too believe bitcoin will function well and will outperform fiats for sure.

There are many things about bitcoin..
So start with explaining btc as a online worldwide transaction method to normal people and a source of trading to a marketers or traders..
And then they will personally take interest and they will explore it themselves by own work or slowly teach them about trading , mining, hash , blocks, gambling, etc etc..
