I think the best way to quit gambling is play other games.. Try MMORPG like Dota 2 Or league of legends.. I already tried and it works for me..
Im addicted to any gambling site before like poker black jack and some slots and bingo..
I just forgot and stop and quit in gambling just playing online games.. now im addicted to play League of legends sometimes i play dota 2..

the control is the key. and it only comes with strong willpower or even a distraction. i have tried it and a hobby that you enjoy doing is the best distraction of all. for example i like programming so i am learning a programming language and it fills my free time.

very large multipliers are the worst. the chance of winning is so tiny so you will never win.
this means you have to make thousands of bets on a big multiplier in order to win once so you will lose the same amount as you will possibly win.
of course this is all chance and you can win on your first bet.

it's just a way to talk, maybe it's a local habit, many ppl have said it too much that it become traditional. he said it with a smiling face, so not serious.

You can't say such thing when it depends on how lucky you are that day in such kind of business randomness occur and you will never know the odd in winning, what if you just won at one time and losses a lot then, house edge will never let you win and that one time will occur because that what house edge do.

The real problem with the many gamblers is they do not usually have self control. Without self control no one can come out of gambling that much easily. Addictions forces most of the gambler to keep on gambling.

Addictions are psychological problem cannot be cured at a single decisions and on a single day. It's better to quit gambling even well before getting addicted to it.

Try looking for evidence based therapies that could help you with your addiction, and talk to a psychologist.
