Indicators will be useful to read and analyse the price chart of crypto currencies and you can get them for free on site like trading view and can add the desired form of chart like bars or candles,or waves and lot more then all kind of indicators also available for you,all you need to pick the indicators and analyse the price movement for your desired time frame.

For the start package, a simple explanation is required with patience by the YouTubers. Anything related to the trading is not rocket science, just hard work will take the trader to the level that trader can use the real trading account without worrying about the melting trading balance. It is debatable how effective is to learn trading methods, strategies, money management with reading the books, real experience is indispensable.

I still firmly believe that going straight to Youtube channels to learn trading isn't the right way to go. Even if you have the patience and determination to learn you still won't understand it fully without learning the basics. Because I'm sure that if newbies will go in the Youtube rout they will only try to watch videos related to crypto trading and by doing so they'll be missing the bigger picture of technical analysis and that involves the basics of trading. That's why if you want to learn TA I would still go to TA books related to stocks as they have been revised and sold a lot of times already.

There is no easy way to understand and read the charts. You need to have previous knowledge about understanding graphs. There are various strategies and patterns which makes it easy to understand graph. Graphs move in a specific way and once you understand the way, you can easily get to know how they really work. Usually we see graphs in candle patterns, you can apply few strategies to that pattern which will then help you explain the chart more deeply.

I think a couple of good youtube videos on chart reading and technical analysis would help. You  probably should search this on youtube: "how to read crypto trading charts" or "tutorials on crypto chat reading" . And you could also watch few videos on technical analysis while you learn how to read chart.
I'd also recommend practicing on a crypto demo trading site while you learn how to trade from the videos.

I have to disagree with this. Learning the charts on the video is good but I don't think you will learn the best from it if you started out in that way. At least try to learn technical analysis with books first as reading is a much better approach onto learning anaything and with you having knowledge on the subject the Youtube videos you will be viewing would be easier to understand or to see if what he is telling is accurate because a lot of Youtube channels contradicts on what they are saying.

Here is my Opinion on reading Price Charts ...

Chart reading dont make sense just for the sake of reading charts. You dont get anything out of it.

Nevertheless charts can help to identify trading opportunities if you know how to use chart reading the right way. The best way using them is as a benchmark to adjust your risk while interpreting ongoing chart information after you opened up a trade.

But it is hindsight interpreting of what ppl were doing in the past. Nothing more!

You are always late when trading charts and have to react instead of acting (just one approach is worse to me: technical indicators). The most trading approaches that are using charts to forecast moves and bet on those forecast to earn money have no significant edge to stay profitable in the long run. You need to spot self fullfilling prohecies and those sometimes appear and sometimes dont.

With a lot of experience in a market niche you can succeed if you have the skill to just focus on that very special setup. But another problem then appears: A lack of opportunity which decreases your overall earnings. More risk per trade is essential when trading the rarest chances.

I use charts for Daily Trading as one part of my strategy but I also mix it up with fundamentals respective volume analysis and in some cases seasonals.

For Intraday Trading you should get bigger advantage when using a proper and institutional linked orderbook/ flow  approach - especially trading stocks. Because it allows you to look deep inside the market in real time not hindsight. Give you the chance to truly anticipate where the smart money is going to position itself. And that's what you want as a small trader: position yourself with the Big Ones.

Cheers ...

I have been involved in this cryptocurrency market for several years and saw many people analyzing the trading charts. Most of them only make general speculations and do not have any grounds.
The cryptocurrency market reacts to the news, if there's good news the price will rise and if there's bad news the price will fall. If you want to be the best trader you should not read the charts, it will not lead you anywhere.

to be able to trade days and learn graphic movements is certainly not easy, and of course it takes quite a long time, because the ups and downs of coins in my opinion I can't predict by looking at charts, learning to be able to memorize altcoin movements and learning to be able to predict correctly in trading , but all of that is not easy, so you should be able to learn to analyze the movements of the coins you want to buy and trade, discussing to trade is very important for those of us who don't know how, but our own predictions and speculations are very important to be able to determine our trade.

Watch as many free youtube videos about how to read trading charts, get onto Twitter and follow some traders that like to chart, read some articles, etc
Watching more videos and sort those information that can help you to fully understand the chartings, Never to rush and quickly jumped into conclusions instead, try to work with options that can helps you to build your good understanding behind the  industry that you wanted to deal with. Charts have differences and your own analyzation will always matter to your success.

So no one can  help you the way you can help yourself. When you are trading you must have knowledge not only about trading but about chart reading as well. So using all those resources that you mentioned is good for us. Knowledge is important to gain that we can get from anywhere. Trading is not easy if you are lack of knowledge about it.

It is difficult to explain because there are so many things that make up a complete chart. It is also very difficult for you to analyze a chart correctly, it is best to search for related videos on youtube about the charts and you will be guided in detail with the photo. Then tradingview.com will be the place to help you perform chart analysis tests on your own terms. It took me a very long time to understand the charts of analysts in this market, which is not really easy and you need to start slowly and carefully.

The easiest way is having a will to learn charts because honestly it was never been easy to read as there are so many chart patterns it takes time and effort to apply it and see it for yourself in the live charts. Another thing is not all patterns are the same as we saw in the books it is most often misnterpreted because learning isn't only by putting it on our mind or remembering all the patterns .It was a skill that we need to apply learn and adjust how the patterns can transform not into the favorable pattern because of its psychology.

I think the moving avarage is a simple technique for new trader. You can learn more about it before you start trading and maybe you need a several times to understand how to trade with this technique.

Another suggestion, when you intend to be a trader you may need to focus to learn one technique/startegy only. Don't shuffle with the another strategy it may be a trap for you. Then, when you are already mastered its technique/strategy you are freely to learn another technique and you can make it as a comparison.

Read trading chart is not easy, you should start learn about indicator first because that's the main part. Many explanation already exist in many site but for me using indicator make me easy to read market movement. You can use trend line as first step, read how to use it and find the best way for you. Read market using candlestick is also good but you need to understand market movement can't predictable, can change direction any time with out confirmation. Explore this forum and you'll find what you need, good luck to you.

I hope he is really reading all the replies here.
Some of them are really good.

Funny thing though is I didn't even tried to read charts before. (not as technical as other here)
I just used it for historical background.
If bitcoin as example. Finding what month it was pumped or you could even use days. Like, if Sundays exchange are more lively.

I did spot on without learning those things. But I still managed to make profit.

Trust me no one is perfect here. Specially in the market like cryptocurrency where manipulation and volatility is way too high, technicals can deceiving. The more important thing than technicals is your stop loss. Stop loss is really critical to crypto trading. For getting hang of technical analysis in crypto keep on doing hit and trial. You will learn better that way instead of following some tutorial. Remember to try only with small amounts or you can also go for paper trading.
Technicals can deceived ?Are you sure with that? I do not agree to you because chart doesn't lie. A chart can prove if we are wrong or right. Reading charts can help us to understand the market and it can also help us to buy at right time and sell in the right time. Technical analysis is really good to use because we can study the past data in order to know where the price heading.

Manipulation includes fast movements, cannot be considered deceptive because they can be speculative, and TA is also not always about stop loss. I agree with you. Technically, analysis always leads to support and resistance, traders use it to determine the actual price range. If it only refers to patterns that change suddenly due to the influence of BTC activities, it can indeed be excluded, but that is not purely manipulation.

Reading charts is a very straightforward activity, but it seem that what you want to do is to read the charts and obtain profits in the process, and that is a more complex issue, the most important thing is to know exactly what you are looking for in the charts and then as soon as you see what you are looking for then you need to act on it, your strategy needs to be coherent and even more importantly it needs to be profitable and there are not many strategies like that in the market.

Acting aggressively will be effective when green market is visible on the chart. Hitting the potential pumps, is a quicker decision which can be achieved by means of frequent price changes. Fluctuations is somehow helpful in plotting an increasing chart flow, and when a possible target will be meet you'll able to grab the best opportunity in selling you desired price.
