Good ICO’s, though, tend to be a bit more difficult to find. You can’t judge them based on their website or the marketing material they produce. Analyze their terms and making sure there is a very limited ability for abuse.

I look at a few different aspects in a ICO when looking to invest.

If I were to break it down to the top 3 most important I would have to say the CEO/team, the community it has and behind it and finally how the tokens will be actually used in the product they are trying to bring to the table. I have seen a lot of revolutionary ideas in ICO's starting to come out in the scene but a lot less have actual case uses for the actual token you be purchasing. Besides that a very active strong community is a great thing to see and a good indicator of future success.

It depends on whos the founder. Check his background. How the project works? How many of his project succeed and also if there so many investor. Smiley

There are a lot of factors here, if we talk about profits, then we need to look at the hype around the project, the number of participants in telegram, social networks, etc.

All good steps, all good advice, but the reality is that, the majority of ICOs have only been around for about a year or so. What does this mean? It means we only have a very limited period of historical data to determine if they were successful or not. And then, what are your definitions of "good" crypto ICOs?

Obviously, people jump to price as a first indicator. But as above, how can you determine "good" from a price performance of a year, perhaps two at best? Perhaps people look at high profile ICOs that raised millions, and whose tokens now trade below ICO cost - does that mean it was a bad ICO? Perhaps its price potential has yet to come. If we take tokens that are flying high now, who's to say they won't drop next year? Is short term perspective necessary to qualify as "good"?

I see less correlation of "good ICOs" in terms of price, with quality/tech/roadmap/dev team at the moment, and more with marketing.

I would like to add a few points.

1. Technology: check the technology and whitepaper. You can guess if it is doable or total bullshit.

2. Milestones: Most roadmaps contain concrete deliverables and then fade into futuristic hocus pocus. See how far are those concrete deliverables. You can guess the price will increase up to that point.

The first thing I watch for is the idea, if it promotes some kind of ultra technology, I automatically know that is is shit. For example there was/is a ICO which states that they will develop and manufacture new age batteries. Cmon!

If the idea is appealing, i start researching the ann, the webpage , after that i believe it is fairly simple to see if they are good project but i never invest after few days research , i wait and and watch the project and than decide.

Now the ICO is full of cheaters, to distinguish a good ICO. I think the key is the team. Only the team is strong and clear division of labor, it is possible to advance their work in accordance with the white paper. In addition, the advisory team is very important, and a well-known investor in the digital currency field has a huge impact on a ICO.

First of all, it is important to see the creators and team members of ico, as well as their previous experience, and of course, the contents of the white paper.

Like other have said, looking at the founder and his experience of doing business plays a major role.

Secondly, the whitepaper of the ICO. Not the vocabulary of the words used but their plans. Since not all of them are American and English isn't their first language, their grammar could be bad but their ideas could be really well.

Thirdly, the amount of hype they are creating, how many people are actually talking about them? Do you think it has the potential to grow big?

Lastly, your gut feeling. No matter how much you research, it's almost a gamble at the end of the day. And you should only invest in it if you think it would grow further.

Hey guys kindly tell me how to spot a good crypto ICO
maybe you should follow the whales and the top bounty manager to tip what is a good and not ICO, but you should be the number one responsible if its too risky.
by the way just learn and do your own research dont trust other higher than your self

That is probably one of the most difficult things to answer, examining the white paper and if there is any big competition in the market are fundamental and also to investigate the developers, but at the end of the day some projects become successful while others do not and it is difficult to pinpoint the reason.

Hello. I like to see if the team members speak at a public event (is there a stream or is it an interview). Then i see if like the idea and if the have a prototype. Also the hype is a good indicator (but you have to do your own research, always)

Cheers

it is really very difficult to determine and find which icpto ico is good and will be successful, but you can learn and assume your own by looking at the whitepaper of the project.

Experience and network of the founding team and quality of the developer team is the key factor for good ICOs. I think it is mostly about team, idea does not matter much alone.

Extensive research must be done before you decide to invest in an ICO, you should even talk to the people in charge before you decide on investing and make sure those involved are reputable in the crypto world for a long time.

actually it depends how pre sale and sale. if pre sale and sale succeed, then ICO is good, and it depends how developer and team effort.
but at least there are some tips to see a good ICO, an experienced manager, price rate, and token sales target.
