Realistically forget about doing anything with that 1$ Bro...now days transaction fees are more than 10USD and it is completely useless...try for a job or try to earn more
with the falling down market now, it is hard to have a plan to earn $150 from $1,5. with this fund, you have to work hard to get your target. daily trading, joining airdrop, working for bounty...
Think in the right manner, its not that easy to make such a big amount from just $1. If you have planned of this investment years back now you could have got the expected profit through the investment. It is all about the users luck, because some coins never grow but at times when some invest into it starts bumping.
So with 1,5$ nothing to do...

Faucets? I think it is a waste of time to do faucets since you can get minimal amount of satoshies and the threshold of withdrawal to it is huge.

Better to invest in XRP and it will be 3 dollar ahead or could be 5$ too , XRP shown a tremendous way to made good profit earlier and it could give you same in future

I think the amount of 1$ is too low to buy on exchanges... With 1$ there aren't possibilities atm IMHO
Well sorry but it is not realistic at all. No matter which coin you invest in you can't turn one dollar into a good investment. Don't waste your time with it. Instead you can try to participate in a bounty or an airdrop to get some new coins. $1 will not get you anything if you can discover the next bitcoin or ethereum.
Despite all these suggestions you actually only have one choice and that's the leave it in whatever coin it is currently in, at least until it is large enough that you are able to sell it. Your amount currently is too small and is beneath the minimum trade amount.

Buy doge is a very cheap coin even if it is considered as a troll or scam coin . It grew up this month with 400% so if you bought it you could have a gooood profit in your wallet now . Or you can try the cheapest coins on poloniex but be careful look to have a high volume . IF they have a very low volume you could lose that 1.5$

Invest 1.5$ to earn 150$? You are joking right? The best thing to do with your rank now, start participating in bounty campaigns. Get that fingers and your brain to start working, and probably in two months time, after the ICO you've participated in pay out, you will have more than 150$ in your pocket.

With tha small amount you could try scalping, because long time investment has no sense. With such an small amount you can double quite often until you have something worth of it.
xD if only you spot all top 10 gain EVERYDAY, then i think it's not slow for you to become millionaire.

1)Buy an apple for 1 dollar.
2)Then sell it for 2 dollars and buy 2 apples.
3)Repeat with 4, 8, 16, 32 apples and so on, until you managed to sell 3500 apples for 7000 usd.
