Your only chance is probably on the altcoin market. But it's useless to buy such small amounts of altcoins and wait for increase. So first of all you need to increase your investment amount through day trading (traditional buy low, sell high).
If you you reach 10-15$ in total, you can start arbitrage trading, which means you buy low at a certain exchange (e.g. Poloniex) and sell higher at another exchange (e.g. Bittrex). Unfortunately you can't do this with small amounts, because of fees. And even with 10-15$ you should only use altcoins with very low transaction fees (e.g. Verge).
If you reach 100$ you can start investing in promising new altcoins and maybe ICOs.
But to multiply your money by ten only through day trading on a single exchange, is really hard.
I recommend you to start with 10$, otherwise your experiment may be over soon.

Even I was considering starting with something like 30-50$ or so and trade very cheap crypto almost like penny stocks, but, maybe polo isn't the place for that.

Go for cheap, penny alts in cryptopia and do a mix of trading and gambling. because for very cheap low volume coins the indicators won´t work, so try to ride a pump wave , dont get to gridy. Don't waste your time for such a thing please. This is meaningless and you won't learn anything from that activity. Dealing with $1 is not a good idea really. Instead, go ahead and make some research for bitcoin and eth price and you can put some money from your pocket into your trading account.

I think and I will advises you to be realistic as this is not going to work out. $1.5 is a little amount and you should not expect the profits to grow in just 13 month into 149,000%. I will say you will need to put in around $100 and expect a growing of $50 that is $150 in a year. Professional's traders only projected 50% profits from there trading in a year and anything outside this is gambling.
