yeah some emotional support would be fie but it is not suffice to remove gambling addiction.
You should also consider to do or perform some activities that are time cosuming and productive so that you can alleviate yor attention from gambling.
One more thing is to just slowly try to limit the amount you used on betting until you do not want to play anymore because of losing enjoyment in playing due to low amount you set in gambling.

i agree but i think its very hard to follow if you really convince your self not to gamble its because if someone will trigger you do gamble or you see some new,giveaways or promos surely you will still gamble because new things can be exciting as i though thats why the really main key to stop is to slowly avoid it, discipline our self and find interesting things that can make your attention shift so by that instance i really believe that gambling can be take out to our greedy system.

Usually if someone is addicted, they already have lost control with themselves and that is why they need help. No point crying over spilled milk. It is very hard for them to think rationally so they really need external factors to help them to overcome this problem.

i am getting addicted to gambling.And i am loosing a lot of money.I am loosing what i can't afford to lose.its sad that when you start loosing its just busted me again and again.at last i gamble for fun but now when i am getting addicted i am loosing too much.

There is nothing wrong with enjoying the game, but make sure you win money not lose money.

I think block your internet is not the answer for stay away from gambling, it will make you bored and will come back into gambling. Find a new hobby is a good plan though.

Staying away from gambling can be done easy if you are just doing it on a good way, you have to find something else you really like to do.
Like gaming or something that is something that is really nice to do and its also addicted but not like gambling.
Im a gambler but i can say i wont quit gambling nor find a new hobby coz im only using the btc that i got for free and im not putting any amount of fiat into it. Because the internet is a requirement that each day is needed, because in the internet there are a lot of science that we can get for free. That's what I'm saying it is very hard to stay away from gambling if you are already a gambling addict and you know it by yourself.
You need guidance from your friends, parents and anyone who can help you with that kind of help.
