In my opinion, Kids will not be interested in learning about bitcoins because they only want to play. Teenagers are the best time to teach this children because some of the might get interested to become rich as early as of now.

This article doesn't talk about bitcoin but it got me thinking how to get kinds interested in bitcoin within the context of appropriate money management lessons. Think of we could teach kinds about it. The growth, the adoption, the inflation and retraction. The allure of the "internet money".

...what other ideas come to mind?
In teaching kids you must first have the the courage to teach the kids. You must also have a long patience in order for them to learn. And be smart enough.
Aside from that teach it in simplest way, or in an interesting way so that they are attentive and focus on what you want them to know.

Well, the right way to teach kids about Bitcoin is that we have to be clever and patient in teaching kids about Bitcoin.
In general teaching children is difficult because of the nature of who always wants to play,so we have to combine learning by playing.
Examples like the puzzle in this puzzle game there are things that can process the mindset of children to be smart and of course this is very good so that children will easily catch the things conveyed by the teacher.

Yes I agree with that, but first to teach the kids about bitcoin, you must start in a very simple way, in the basic steps. They should be familiarize on what you want them to know. And after they learn it proceed to the next level which is harder than the first and until they reach the thing that you want them to learn. Kids are smart you need to be smart also for them to learn and adopt.

You can teach kids the same way they learn in their video or computer games. Somehow, kids value their money when it comes to online games. So, you need to tell them that it is almost the same, but bitcoin can be their real money.
I don't think that it will work in that way because earning money in bitcoin is not easy for the newcomers and they need a lot of patience to earn decent amount of profit and if you will ask me how to teach the kids about bitcoin? Just explain it directly to them and explain it why bitcoin is a great and not to miss kind of opportunity.

It will be quite challenging to teach kids something that is not of their priority and may be too complicated to comprehend at such a young age. Growing up, money was something that I never thought of as a kid. The only thing that came into my mind is the latest toy that came out, what color I should use for the drawing, and how can I skip nap time so I could play more. I don't think that kids that are so young or even those who will enter their teenage years would be interested in talking about mining, trading or Bitcoins. Think of it this way, adults who wants to try other investment ventures has to do a lot of research about Bitcoin in order to understand its structure. Despite the effort, some fail to do so for they cannot fully grasp its concept; what more if it was taught to kids whose minds are rich in imagination but may have a hard time understanding such a complex subject?

Maybe not kids but as they grow older (teenage years) or so it is important to teach the next generation the concept of money, taxes and basic economics. Skills that will help them excel or at least survive in life.

Think that will be the optimal age to start them on crypto.

well kids like to play, so something that can bring together bitcoin and gaming

like puzzle that when solved reveal a private key for example

it is important that kids start to learn early some basic economy, at least something about income and expenditure

i heard about a new law for some countries that will make it possible(to teach them basic economy) in schools

this could work, the only thing needed to arouse their interest is to give them something they enjoy doing, which could be gaming, then introduce bitcoin to them through it, i think the result will be tremendous.

For us to understand the challenges and opportunities digital currency may present to teaching children about money, it’s important to note that education about this subject extends beyond mathematics and economics into social studies, history, literature, and other disciplines. But students learn about money through five main concepts:1  what money is;2  the denominations of currency;3 the importance of money;4 how money is used in everyday life; and 5 how to count money. Some of these concepts are often taught through a combination of tactile or kinesthetic learning along with visual and auditory methods.

Within this approach, there are certain activities and lessons comparing different denominations of coinage, understanding how many quarters or nickels make up a dollar, monetary-based addition and subtraction, etc. that are best understood through the physical handling of currency.

The saying “our children are our future” holds a lot of merit in every meaning. Especially when Bitcoin enthusiasts with a new breeding ground to spur on blockchain development.
considering the connection between young children and electronic devices that seems to become a norm more than an exception these days. Such a paradigm shift could provide
Keeping in mind these children have either a tablet or laptop at their disposal  in most cases that is there is no better time than now to focus Bitcoin related educational efforts on this demographic. Coding is all about having fun, and figuring out how things work while spurring a new wave of development at the exact same time.

Just not i believe children should be free to do what they want because it is very hard to understand about something so complicated at their age also they need time for their selves we cannot make them do this let them be what they want.

Well i think that the best thing to do is just let them know that bitcoin is a paying method but it is online only. Then maybe let them look at the forum and explore and see what happens with the market. Eventually they will understand.

I agree let them know that bitcoin exists. Sometime they will look it up and they will maybe find more information on their own. So after that they can also start to do something about bitcoin.

They can even create a new coin when they are young so they plan to make a coin in the future.
