Just tell them what bicoin is all about then after that let them explore the world of bitcoin . If they have a question the just be there to answer their question  as long as you can

Yeah i think that is a good idea let them explore the bitcoin world because exploring is like learning different new lessons. Experience is the best teacher Smiley.
Yes maybe it's also true. I used to know bitcoin from my friend who just tells the bitcoin we can get a lot of money. Then my friend showed bitcoin wallet and this forum, after which I explored this forum until now I understand bitcoin deeper and can produce bitcoin of the signature campaign.

As the title say, what is the proper way to teach someone about what is Bitcoin?
The best way to teach someone about Bitcoin is to let them listen carefully when you are teaching someone about Bitcoin. It should not be to hard to teach someone about Bitcoin.

This won't be effective with every person, the better option is to engage users into the earning methods and guiding them. This would possibly make them use continuously of the earning they get.

The best way to teach someone about bitcoin is to bring them on this forum and show them how to earn with signature campaign, as earning bitcoin will surely attract them towards it.

Earning bitcoin or money will really attract them but once they knew some different ways to earn like gambling and they've tried it and lose money maybe they will just blame you for it. Almost all people now are concentrated just to earn. They don't consider that they can also lose from it. As world of cryptocurrency or bitcoin has many risk to earn and lose.

Teaching someone about Bitcoin is a tedious task. But you can start with giving him info about Bitcoin, telling him the fundamentals, then showing him how to send or request Bitcoin.  The rest, you can give him the link to bitcointalk.org.  Let his knowledge about bitcoin grow by his own interest and research.  You teach him better that way i think.

To earn from signature campaign is not that easy especially for a new comer, but bring them to this forum is indeed good way at least they can learn about bitcoin-related things.
Once they understand a little bit, then they can try to join signature campaign.
you just explain about what is Bitcoin and uses of it. The Bitcoin.org site has a lot of information about the different topics of Bitcoin so you could give them a sign up here and get answer for their questions. Now you have to tell them about Bitcoin wallet to them depending on if they want to use Bitcoin on shopping or converting to regional currency.

I don't really know what people can learn about bitcoin, it's a cryptocurrency with unstable price and you can tell to your studend how it works, that's all.
I do not think it's that easy? if you're not attracted about bitcoin first? you will be useless to tell them about bitcoin
because they will certainly indifferent or do not care what you say. so it is not easy to tell someone about bitcoin

As the title say, what is the proper way to teach someone about what is Bitcoin?

just explain to them about its system or how it works and how it can be turn into a real money . some of them will never understand at the first time maybe you should let them explore and research more about it . if they are really interested they will do more research and will try to understand about it feature but of course prove to them that bitcoin is very useful .

People who are looking for a new kind of investment are the ones who are easier to explain bitcoin to. They are much more open-minded to the new ways of investing, and open to the idea of how such a new currency could be the currency of the future generations. Those people are the ones who would do further research even if you just told them the gist of what bitcoin is all about.
