First of all you should explain how bitcoin works and than you can go to practice, just show the basic actions with bitcoin and show some youtube videos to your "student".

And You can teach him with your own way. I am trying to make an blog about bitcoin and earning bitcoin. I will add video tutorials to the blog and try to explain bitcoin to others.
I think it is our responsibility now to teach and get everyone into bitcoin. and crypto currency.
Yes it might be by creating a blog about bitcoin it can help them to understand a little about bitcoin, if the blogs they'll see if the language style of writing can be understood. Maybe it would be better if the telling of mouth to mouth, it will be easier to understand.

What you're doing wouldn't make that much difference. There are tons of experts in the bitcoin world and one search in google can lead you to hundreds/thousands of tutorials. Why would people use your blog instead? Is there something in your blog that can not be learned on other blogs?

It's not our responsibility to make other people into BTC. People that are already in the bitcoin world didn't came to us and told us "Hey, come here and I will teach you about BTC". Most of us are self-taught and most of us were just curious about what is bitcoin that's why we did tons of research and learned about bitcoin. I think the people that you should only be teaching are people that are somehow related to you and asking you to teach him/her about bitcoin.

What I'm trying to do now is to introduce my wife slowly into the concept of earning bitcoin. That's the most effective way I could find in making her know how bitcoin works. I have recently told her about faucets and she is slowly starting to appreciate those little things. I will then let her know about bitcointalk so she could familiarize herself with what's going on in the bitcoin community. If she eventually participates in signature campaign, I hope she gets to read this and see how much she has learned about bitcoin.
nice strategy. people who are close to you are easy to accept what you say. my best friend jas done the same strategy you did to me, and here I'm now.

For me, it is easier to introduce bitcoin to the younger generations, compared to those who are not that tech savvy and to those who are not open to adapting to positive changes. The younger ones are more open minded to these developments and have a better chance of accepting bitcoin, because of their being well attuned to the digital world. Whereas older people only seem to be more passive of the idea of adapting to such new currency and would rather stick with the conventional and traditional ways.

For my opinion it is really easier to explain to people who already have experience earning online and paypal. So you could just compare it with paypal and it benefits, then if he sees the big difference, he will be interested. Otherwise, with people with no experience using internet payments, it will be harder and you should really start from zero.

The best way to teach someone with bitcoin is through hands on. If a person can experience how bitcoin transaction works through constant usage then he/she will have a better grasp at what bitcoin is. Theory and deepening comes secondary. That's how i effectively learn what is bitcoin.

This is the most easiest way of teaching someone bitcoin, is by showing them some tutorials in youtube. Because it is more easier if he can see and hear and explain to him plainly and easy way. That's is way better easy than explaining it to him by yourself.

youtube has some good didactic videos to show how it works
Maybe read some of articles and youtube about bitcoin, teach how to make wallet to keep the Bitcoin, how to collect BITCOIN  by signature campaign, trading, foucet etc. Try this link it's will help https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/new-to-bitcoin-start-here-7269
yeah it is a thread which is great for beginners. but you know what? not everyone can use English language so of course there are some people who don't know the meaning of that thread. then you can create a new thread or a video that describes bitcoin with the local language? You can also make a profit from ads?

Yes it was a good way because if taught directly for sure they will be easy to understand. To invite someone to register bitcoin could do if they were interested in getting money.

Explain to him first the base of Bitcoin, why it is used, and its system, then show him some videos that explain him the rest, you can find a lot in http://www.bitcoin.org

But if he/she is not interested with it, it won't all be effective. Like my sister, she wonders how did i earn from it and she told me to teach her how to earn also. As soon as i teach her how to earn and the risks of it she quit already because she said it was too complicated but for me it was not. She thought that it was an easy money to earn. So i prefer to learn it by themselves so they won't blame someone if they lose money or something.

Nowadays everyone is interested in earning money so whenever you want someone to adopt bitcoin, just tell them about the earning of bitcoin and so with that they wll be readily attracted towards it and will try their best to learn all about it.

Explain Bitcoin by answering to: What is Bitcoin? What can it be used for? How does it work. You should teach a person how to set up an easy wallet and show them how to manage addresses and how to label them. Then tell the person about the transaction fees, about blockchain. And of course, show the person how to earn Bitcoins and show where Bitcoins can be used for buying something. If the person intends to do trading, show them where to buy Bitcoins and sell them.

If you are in Bitcoin mining, you could also explain mining, and what does a person need for Bitcoin mining. Also, show him/her the price of Bitcoin.

Or you can do it the easier way, show that person some videos on Youtube.com , there are some nice videos introducing Bitcoin to new users.

And also, explain to him that you shouldn't be copy+pasting replies in here because it'll get you banned. Roll Eyes

You copy+pasted Sauvonsnosculs' reply, didn't you?

You should be a role model to your students. You shouldn't doing prohibited things like this.

I think it is quiet easy to teach someone else about the bitcoin because the only thing you have to tell them is that it is an coin that has a variable price and you can buy all kind of stuff online.

That's not the exact way. If you explain in this manner the next question that arises is why should I need to use the coin, already have access for shopping with debit and credit card. Also when was to buy some stuff if the price has been decreasing how can I profit using it. So better clearly visualize the profit making methods.

Clearly visualize the profit making methods is the most effective technique to teach some about bitcoins. Everyone need profits and earnings and if you focus on how bitcoin help you make rich, it will be quite interesting for the other person to attentively listen to you and then use bitcoins in future.

The most effective way that I have found to teach about Bitcoin is to make an analogy with Bitorrent. Most people know how torrent works, people connect to each other and there is no "bittorrent building" hosting all the files. With bitcoin is the same, but people host the blockchain instead of movies music etc.
may be a quicker way is to teach them about online business, and slowly lead them in bitcoin. just tell them that bitcoin is the best digital money, and maybe they will find information about bitcoin if they are interested
