I'm not the first time told his girlfriend about bitcoin. So she told me she said that is not a woman's business to know where the money come from. The main thing that a man in the family knew how to make them. I am, in short, the hint.
I even get her to make simple tasks for me like faucets and stuff like that. Key is to tell her all the nice things in simplest way possible, like what kinda vacation can we afford if bitcoin flies to the moon.

Simplest definition: Digital currency. Can't simplify it any more than that. Just add "Decentralized" and you have it distinguished from other forms of digital currency.

It will be interesting to try to explain, but I am more than sure that this is a waste of time. It is interesting for me, because I have a good motivation and excitement. And for women it is a boring job and information.

Girls, miracle creatures on this planet. The most understandable thing on earth. I recommend you guys never ever talk about Bitcoin in front of them because there are two results: First, they do not care what you say, second, it takes ages for them to understand what Bitcoin is. LOL this is my experience. Do not try to talk about any new technologies with them.
I also support your opinion. Bitcoin for them will never understand. It is better to tell them that there are dollars on a purse, and this they will be happy. They do not even wonder where the money came from. The main thing is that they exist. 
My gf is very interested and knowledgeable about Bitcoin, she had no clue about it when we first met but now has her own wallet and BTC and keeps up with articles and such online.
