I'm still new to crypto, but I want to ask you all, how to trade for the short term in crypto, so that our continue to be profitable..?
You will listen to a lot of comments and guidance, but you will not achieve profits in the long term, given that you are a beginner and feelings will control you. The best strategy for you is Dollar Cost Averaging (DCA), which means buying bitcoin at a specific price every fixed period of time, thus avoiding the problems of ups and downs, but it is a long-term strategy.
Therefore, learn more, and therefore in demo trading, it is best to gain experience and from which you can trade daily.

To start trading, first you need to know all the rules and strategies of trading. Must have the ability to lose. If you don't know all these tricks, you can never be profitable from trading platform. Always remember to buy if the market is dumping and sell if there is a little pumping. Thus 5% to 10% profit is sufficient. One should never covet too much. If you make more profit, you are likely to lose your business.

Always remember there is no guarantee to profit both in short or long-term trading. Therefore, there is no fast role about making profit in trading. My advise is you need to learn and follow the simple techniques about trading which are:

1.Taking lower risk by using low leverage

2. Don't be greedy

3. Don't over stay in the market especially when you are making profit because taking profit is better than losses.

4. Don't rely on telegram group because they will end up feeding with the fees charged from you.

Crypto trading methods such as: Futures, margin is a short-term trading method, you can trade with the open long and close menu or take-profit and stop-loss features.

You should never make short trades, if you do not understand correctly or are accompanied by experts in short trading, otherwise you will incur real losses.

It takes days sometimes months for someone to want to learn and do short term crypto trading, in short trading the risk of loss is huge, remember, trading knowledge is very important.

Your initial goal is wrong, because you only ask to continue to profit. Meanwhile, you are still new and need to learn how to trade properly. Trading in crypto is not easy and requires continuous learning.
To be able to master crypto trading requires knowledge of technical and fundamental analysis. Then if you ask about how to make short-term trades in order to get big profits, then you need to learn technical knowledge first. Read every candle movement and be able to make market predictions. and besides that the capital you use must be enough to be able to provide many benefits. If you only have $100 capital and want to continue to profit, be aware that trading is not gambling.

Learn about trading risk management, it is the most important.

Learn more about trading strategies, they are the most important in trading. Risk management is part of the strategies.

Learn about how to read candle stick, it is simple

Learn about indicators like MA, EMA, RSI, BB and some others that you have interest in

Use only the amount of money you can afford to lose to trade.

Register on site like Kucoin or Binance and check their video trading guides.
Yes, what you said is correct, this is the first step that must be taken if you want to start short-term trading. But I would say don't get your hopes up with this short term trade, especially if you are a beginner it can be really difficult.
To be honest, I prefer to make long-term investments only, and in the meantime you can learn and continue to hone our skills to better understand what short-term trading is all about with all the risks.
Oh yes, you should try it using a demo account first before trying it with real money.

You have to learn first and be prepared to lose money at first because indeed it will make a lot of mistakes to happen if you start in short term trading and always use small money to start so that when you lose it won't be stressful for you at first.

What @Oshosondy said was enough to get started, but here I will provide a step-by-step guide for novice traders represented by ratimov, maybe this thread will be useful for you as a beginner to start with.

I apologize for bursting the bubble, but trading will likely cause you more harm than good, given that you are new to cryptocurrency, unless you have prior experience trading forex, stocks, or other speculative markets.

Because if there aren't any, learning about bitcoin and the risks that come with it should be your utmost priority over trading at the moment.
