Trade in the dip is just take profit when its bounce and we can not hold coin for long time when we are on the bear market. Always check the market every 4 hours and when you get 3%-5% profit you better sell and take profit then wait for another dip for getting more coin. Thats what i did when the market bear from 2014 and its worked

In my perspective it's time to short half of your portfolio and hodl the rest. But if you can not short HODL. My view is simple but I have been able before the dip in January, to get 30% more asset in my portfolio
In my opinion is very complicated this type of maneuver, we have to have a strategy set up for such an action, we must fully define every percentage of losses and gains. So we can negotiate without any kind of pressure.
When price is in dips it is a hard time to enter the market for short. We cannot tell when it would be recover, yes it will create totally a panic and a pressure. Might as well enter and buy this dips and wait for increase or in green market.
If you are afraid, then just mine. I avoided this whole massive dip buy just buying graphics cards and mining ethereum. Worst case scenario if crypto fails you can just sell the graphics card.

As long as you are able to afford to lose what you invest then buy buy buy. It will probably pay off (if you are buying decent coins) however if you will cry ever time it dips further then it's not worth it. All the best.
