There are some instances that we can win but since the house edge is always there while we still gamble, we will eventually lose and that hurts us when we lose big amount.

what effective? it was not effective at all ,since nobody can not stop playing once this sucks strategy started , isn't it? that is what i have experienced and feel so far doing martingale , it was terrible strategy , never work.

in sportsbetting might martingale have more chance as long as you are good in analyzing.

Any forms of martingale or what so-called strategies doesn't really work in longer runs that's why we should really need to observe and if you are using martingale and you are already making a percentage profits on your bankroll then you should now how or when to stop because chances do come fast and we should take that opportunity and we shouldn't be greedy.

It is very hard to win with martingale, but there are temporary winnings for a while but you are losing lots of money for a long time. This is not a very logical system.

This is one type of dangerous method. We will get back our loss with this method, sometimes if your bad luck you will meet back to back loss then you will end up very soon. This strategy will make your wallet empty very soon if you play high amount bet. Suppose if you have enough money to afford your loss then this method will help you to make money. But In gambling, no strategies will work in the long term.

With martingale, the odds are the same no matter how small you start out. With small bets you have to play longer and you will get longer strings of losses. You can't win unless you have infinite money. Also, at some point, the bets get so big that the house may not cover and you can't bet anyway.

So for me, I believe in order to make a martingle system work you need to have a huge starting bankroll. It will not work if you have a small bankroll because once it hit a loss it will eventually loose all your winnings and your starting money.

It is simply impossible to win with martingale, there are many factor that stop you to profit from it, in the first place the house edge the house has over you, the table limit also plays an important factor, the size of your bet and the size of your bankroll all conspire to make impossible to profit from martingale.

I agree mate for those early starter they will feel that martingale is working for them, but after sometime of winning and the house already convinced them that the system works they will start to see losing streak and they will make huge mistake such as placing much bigger bets to chase loses its very common to realize mistakes after losing everything.

I guess when it comes to this you need a lot of patience and more luck as well. Although i have to say that even if how good are you when it comes to dice game martiangle strategy it is very risky. In fact this strategy was the most risky strategy of dice game

Any method including this martingale method may work for a short time and sometimes not even for a short period. Any game is based on probably fair system the result is quite difficult to guess and each time the results will not be same as well. So instead of finding a working method just play with small amount for fun and enjoy the games.

I've tried starting out with small bets using the martingale strategy but the bets are so small that it takes forever to make any decent gain. Then because you have to make hundreds of bets, you will eventually get a long string of losses. So basically there is no way to make money even with this strategy. Since you have to double your bet with every loss, you are risking your whole bankroll every time you place a bet unless you quit and take the loss.

Even if you have a huge bankroll, eventually you will go bust.

The only way this would not happen, is if you have 1) an infinite bankroll and 2) the gambling site has no max bet size.

Otherwise, a losing streak of 15-20 can happen and will mess up even the biggest bankroll.

Martingale really is good and a worst strategy that i have known, you double your bet everytime you lose, yes you are getting back everything you have lost, but i think its all about that. And there are alot of gambling sites and casinos that are trying to overcome that strategy. Think of it, your using martingale as your strategy and that casino or gambling site know that strategy, making your bets bigger is really dangerous because you will really lose all your money.
And yeah, making your odds high will make your profit sure, if that can do so I think many gamblers are rich by now.

2x odds on martingale is just the most common method used by most gambler on playing dice and other games which it may work for sometime but not guaranteed on long run because house will surely get those winnings including your bankroll in an instant thats why i dont really use martingale.

very interesting strategy, but i find a huge flaw in its logic which makes it very risky. in your last bet when you said you change the bet size to max 0.2-0.3 you are not out of the danger zone, you are still making a new bet so it may go either way. so in case you get 50% unlucky and lose you are losing a huge amount compared to your regular size bets.

then in case of lose what your come back strategy?
