I think that American youth will adopt it as a way to get rich but there will be a minority that sees it as a way to achieve freedom and fix a lot of the problems that will be facing their generation. I can't image what the cost of a house will be in 10 -20 years and how much of the world will be controlled by a tiny group of "elites" but I think if the youth is able to look past the get rich quick mentality, I think they will put it to good use to fix a lot of fiat problems.

Youth in developing world are probably much more likely to adopt it out of necessity and not just out of novelty or a get rich quick scheme. Hyperinflation is going to get worse and bitcoin will not only protect the youth from inflation but it will make it easier for young people to relocate to other parts of the world with their wealth intact.

That's the thing we are lacking among us. Proper Education about bitcoin and how to use it. Youths want to use bitcoin and wish to take all the advantage of that without knowing the potential risk factors. that may cause them loose trust on bitcoin if they end up loosing their money.

In Japan it's a little bit similar. Japan is still a "cash is king" country. Where in other places people pay a high % of stuff via card or some digital wallets, here in Japan most people still pay via cash.

For that reason, even though bitcoin and other crypto currencies are highly advertised, you can even pay in plenty of places with it, not many young folks are really into it.

I have been to bitcoin meetups in Tokyo several times and I would say the average age was in the late thirties.

Most people also have been into crypto for quite a while, there is a big community here. But very rarely I saw folks in the early 20s or even younger, don't understand why that is.
