Not too sure about that, maybe some people can keep it under control, but in the same way that alcohol starts creeping up on you, gambling can be the same.

You can start with a few gambles here and there, and then next thing you notice you are betting almost every day, and losing a lot of money.

It starts slowly, and for some people it's really difficult to stop.

Seriously, gambling can be stopped, but for someone who wishes to stop gambling, someone who has been addicted is someone who, even if there is no money, still gambles even if they borrow money. However, if someone is gambling on a normal basis and it is not taken as a means of getting money, they can easily stop it, in my opinion. Even though I know gambling is something that, when you start it, you will get it in your mind and won't want to stop it if you're winning.

However, I think we should not always be making threads talking about gambling addiction because many people will see it that way, which it is not. You can be addicted to gambling, depending on how you take it. If you take gambling as a way of getting money, you will be addicted, no doubt about that, because you will gamble every time. But if you take gambling as something you will do to have fun, I don't think you are at risk of becoming addicted.

The way we describe this addiction is scary and the repetition of similar thread make it more scary, we should understand that gambling is addictive in nature because of the money involved but there are people that are addicted affirmatively with cool money they make here as if it's Christmas day for them, they can spend the whole day staring at screen and picking games with lower lines but at the end of the day, money is always made without or with small little no loss and same goes the other way that gambling affect with addiction but it's not the way it's been discussed here every day, let's change the narrative so others can have interest!

It was all full of anxiety because my favorite team was playing and they were on the verge of losing that match; I was having two fear, the fear of my team losing the match and the fear of losing my bet consecutively, the emotions were all there but I love the former real Madrid how they turn things around in die minutes, been patient was worth it, the odds was 1.6 single ticket but the wager was much that was what contributed to my fear but the experience was great. 

I learnt about gambling from this forum and my first experience in the field of gambling was a pure sequence of losses that I faced. I have done that because I wanted to test that how gambling works and since then I do bets every once in a while and sometimes my bets go well while other times I face losses. I don't think that there's a person who wins in all bets and if someone isn't lucky then the amount of losses will be more than the wins. Although, I manage to get some wins but I still can't consider myself as lucky.

Well, it was a painful moment when we experienced a loss that might have been very big for us then. But by learning to accept it, I think it can mature us so that we won't act recklessly when playing gambling and don't chase victory. But it was indeed difficult to overcome greed in gambling, especially since we were still beginners at that time and still needed more self-control exercises and didn't have much experience in playing gambling.

But after learning from our mistakes, I'm sure we can act wisely and not overuse money because we have experienced a big defeat. We must learn to reduce the use of money so that the experience does not happen again and we can still enjoy gambling. And it's okay if we lose bets because we can still reduce big losses to get out of gambling before things get worse.

today i saw an advertisement on instagram, it was advertisement and a person from my country said that he won a lot of money with sports betting and that he even bought his goods like a good car and more things, so he wants to help people to reach the same levels of profit and financial freedom that he achieved with sports betting, so he is giving free courses to people, I didn't stay until the video ended for the link to appear because usually these videos are long and there is no way for people to simply put them on final minute for the link to appear

but something came to my mind that was: this guy is lying, even though I might be making hasty judgments because I didn't watch the whole video and I don't know him, but my instinct was already telling me that he's lying, but that and because I see so many scammers, many liars that when I see these types of proposals I already think it's a lie, and the chances of me being wrong are low, they never do anything for free, they manipulate people, I believe that after the free course he will tell people that he has a paid course which is much more effective than the free course

and people will believe that and will pay for the course and when they start placing bets they will lose a lot, of course there is a small group that profits from betting, in everything in this world there is always someone who manages to do the unthinkable and make a profit, but there are few people

It is similar to life itself, in life, people will rarely tell you their weaknesses, even when they do, it is also hard for them to be truthful about it, people are much more comfortable telling you about their strength, they did tell you about all the battles they've fought and won, but never tell you about the ones they fought and lost, they did tell you about all the great things they've achieved over a very short period of time, but wont tell you about that or those which they've been trying to get but have been unable even for over a long period of time, this is just the nature of man, they can only discuss their losses in life only when they are sober, feeling regrets, remorseful for their wrong decisions and so on.

So when ever someone is preaching to us about all their winnings on a game or so, we owe it to ourselves as a duty to ask them what about their loses , such a person can not say he or she has never lost in the same game.

They make gambling look like you could change your life overnight and become a millionaire with a rich lifestyle.

Similar with alcohol, they only show people having fun at the ads sipping some beer on the side.

The reality in both cases is that many people end up paying a lot of money, and living a really bad life once they get addicted.

I've seen a lot of people getting inspired by such stories either by their friends or from somewhere else because they've heard someone winning big from gambling and they thought what if they could win as well that pushed them towards gambling, but to be honest, it doesn't work out for everyone out there, those who manage to win more than losing are only a few chosen people by god that are almost lucky all the time and that's why they are never at loss.

But it never happens to us, no matter how hard we try, we always lose at the end. Sometimes we might manage to win something but just because we are not patient enough we lose it all back to the house again and get out of the casino empty handed which makes us sad and disheartened but we come back again, lol.

I think this is the worst thing to do, when you have the betting limit, as a player you should keep calm, not jump like we are superman and save your money, because the chances of losing everything are higher, but this is just learned if and only if when we see that there is nothing to do anymore, and when we have lost the Capital.

Everyone of us here have different experiences on how we start or involve into gambling. And yes referring from friends is very common nowadays because some friends of our who involve in gambling for so many times then we the innocent once we heard a lot of good testimony from our friends then out of curiosity we will try and make our own bet. But in other hand without knowing that what they tell to us is the opposite of the reality because not all the time we will win in gambling.

I have being gambling before I started posting in the forum even before I joined forum but my experience in gambling was limited until I join forum and I began to know some of the gambling websites that I play casino, my experience in gambling before I joined forum us that it was tough for me to join gambling, what was the issue that period is that I gambled without following the instructions of the site and after I have won and the website denied me payment and second one is that I gamble and every thing I stake was wiped and I could not make a profit.

I gamble with my school fees when I was in secondary school hope that I will use it to earn pretty money at the moment, but I ended up crying inside my room because I don't know how to explain to my mother that I gamble with my school fees. But it was a surprise thing to me when I put small money two months later, I made a huge amount of money that made me quit gambling till today because, it can make someone to empty his or her properties which I have seen many people got mad because they use contribution money to gamble. It will be a good thing if someone can gamble with sense not to gamble on the time with big money because gambling doesn't require big money before you can win.
