Most of the time, it won't be stopped. Scammers will always find a way to trick people and what we can do is to avoid being tricked and to educate the rest about this fraud. Newbies are easily fooled because of lack of knowledge and if you already a veteran in detecting whether an ICO is fake, then better share it with the folks. Of course, do not forget to provide evidence to make it convincing. You must be pretty sure too because if you are wrong then you are spreading FUD.

No one can stop the ico's who are scamming different investors because most of them are really look's legit, but just always look on the platform and the developers who are handling in order to determine if you will really earn profit or not.
The main feature of the market of crypto currency is that it runs on the basis of decentralization. It has no central authority to regulate the market. Since the market is decentralized, it is not possible to stop scam coins from launching in ICO. Moreover it is also difficult to recognize coin as scam until it comes to the ICO.
It doesn't work like that. No matter what prohibitions are imposed, scammers will be as long as there are people who invest money in such projects. We must learn to work on ourselves and not to fall for such ICO. Then the scammers will understand that this niche is no longer valid. You wait for action from outside. But this is a decentralized system that is held by all of us, and it depends on us what will happen to it.
The idea of fraud can not be stopped, it can either be prevented or simply be careful, and never store your personal data on the computer you are working with.

Its just simple avoid those shady ICO's just do a little researched about the project that you want to participate don't let those scammy alibis to legitimized hiding to protect there identity or whatsoever! they are running and ICO in the name of transparency they must reveal their true Identity and skip from hiding. if the platform's Team is not transparent Don't invest period!
Just by no investing on those kind of programs, if all the other scammers see that it is impossible to make money out of those scams, they will stop trying to create them.

We need icos because they help many projects to stay afloat and develop their projects easily. Investors are willing to commit to a project but it is hard for them to tell which is scam and which isn't. I am glad to be involved in Spotcoin. An ico project that will not end up being a scam
ICOs are dirtying the whole crypto markets and there needs to be done something about it. The social media sites banning ICO ads was a step in the positive direction. Now the next part comes of the crypto users who need to prevent themselves from investing in these ICOs, if no one invests in these ICOs than they are going to die down sooner.
If we want to protect us, then cryptocurrency and ICO must be regulated by the laws like IPOs otherwise there will be scams. But as this sphere becomes regulated, it will not be so profitable anymore. For now, I can't see the other way to protect cryptoinvestors. We are on our own now

I think we can not stop they launching ICO but we can warning peoples to not make investment on that ICO. We prevent peoples by educating them about scam ICO and how to avoid it and make warning about that scam ICO

You can get scammed in any market if you go in blindly.You need to do a heap of research on the project and team members to reduce risk
I do not think that it is possible, i mean, regulations were meant to do that, but they are not as effective as they should be at the moment, and that is the reason of why there are so many scammy icos
will not be stopped. that can be done naturally only anticipate with the ICO does not follow such a scam. maximum possible that can be done just remind this forum through the media to the investor. However, to know a scam and there is also not an easy thing. If our opinions, not necessarily true scam and thus it would be a bad thing for us.
You can't stop people from launching ICOs. However, you can educate people and make them be able to distinguish a scam from a legit project. It's not an easy task though, people are no longer interested in learning, they just want profit so they'll put their money in any project that have a high score in TokenMarket or other scoring sites.
Their is no possible way to stop scams at ico lanching. We dont recognized if one new ico are scam or not. We have to minimize that by aware on participating, careful and be researchful on what we have done.

There is no way for anyone to stop an ico for scamming their own investors, the best thing to know is just the people behind the ico or the developers who are advertising the current coin they are selling.

If you talk about protection it must be managed by the state, ICO emerge in internet which pretty difficult to control (telegram situation in Russia it was banned but everyone still use it).
