Probably this has already happened to most of us here at least once. I remember I was quite certain about Trump's election in 2016 and the odds were great, but I didn't place a bet on that one. Then when the results came out I felt very regretful for not taking part on that bet. It was a big wasted opportunity... However, we can't blame ourselves for these situations. After all, we can't predict future events with guarantee, besides not being possible to risk our money constantly as there weren't consequences. It's easy to say when the bet is already over, but until the results come out, everything can happens!

That is why it's better to gamble with at least the little amount you can afford to gamble with, like what I does mostly is that I don't go predicts games if I don't have money to place those bets so, is better either you give it to someone that is more closer to you to try their lucks but you can also warned them not to gamble with huge funds. Whichever I don't think of what has past away because I know that what is coming is more likely to be bigger and better than what has gone, just learn to forget the past and moved on otherwise you can't make any progress with your gambling lifestyle.
Exactly. Because when you predict from your mind without betting and at the end of the game, your bet enter with the full amount and only for you to discover that you didn't use money but free bet, lolz. It will be very painful. And one thing again oh! There are sometimes you make free or trial bet and won the bet so the next match you borrowed money from a friend to play the game thinking that he will win the game because of the previous scenario and at the end of the game he loss woefully.

There is luck in gambling, the day when you are not lucky to win then the matter any amount you use to play the games you won't win but when you are lucky that day even small amount, you will a reasonable amount in the bet.

Move on.

You can't just regret and hope you can move back into when you could bet in that match to earn big amount of money. You shouldn't think you will able to make money if you start to gamble, you need to cool own your mind and learn if gambling is only for fun, only use amount you can afford to lose.

Many gamblers can't escape from addict because they always think they will win and make money.

If it happens to me, I can't stop thinking of it, but definitely one day I will stop thinking about it and see it as history or not yet, my time for big wins just like how it happened to me when I lost a bet that would have given me long-term smiles.

We have all been there and it is a common occurrence in all of life. Maybe psychologists should have found a name for this phenomenon because it has happened to the best of us in gambling, forex trading, crypto trading and other aspects too. What can we do, nothing. Like the saying goes, it is better to be prepared and the opportunity passes you by than to not be prepared and opportunity passes you by. At least if you are prepared financially you can take advantage of the opportunity if you, you'd only wish you had prepared earlier.
I do feel sick if such things happens to me,and the dact remains that it do occur. The time that you wouldn't be prepared for the bet based on no funds at that moment, before you know it,that game will come out as predicted. Or maybe because we haven't won recently, one just have to over look the game without looking for a way to place a bet on the game. After the game is over and you relunctantly check the result, and you find out that it was what you had in mind, you will be very mad at yourself, but the fact remains that how will you know that it is going to the the life changer game,no way.

People like those (me) who don't gamble for fun have this question to answer: how will you feel when you don't have money to stake a game that you predicted and better winning games you predicted played the way you predicted it and when you checked the winning was something that could have changed your life for ever if you didn't gambled again after such winning?
Sometimes it is very annoying that when there is a very good chance and good opportunity like that we don't have enough money to bet. Even though the win is very big and will change our fate in the future, if at that time we really don't have money to bet then I won't force myself and take the risk of borrowing because this is gambling and there is still a bigger chance of losing even though we are good at predicting the bets.
Although of course we will definitely regret it very much, but I think there is no need to dwell on regrets, it is completely pointless and could damage our mental health. The most important thing is that we can still breathe, think and have income, so we will try it on another occasion.

You can make your life easier by avoiding any thoughts of gambling whenever you don’t have spare money that you can bet on gambling so that you will not feel this regretful thoughts whenever you missed an opportunity to bet instead of restricting yourself to not borrow money when opportunities come.

I find it very hard to do now that I usually browse on the forum gambling board but I try my just to avoid gambling thread that will give me an idea to gamble while I don’t have money to spend for gambling.

If someone has prejudices against gambling, but this person is an extreme fan of luck, he probably still needs to try everything in practice one day. There are people who can easily predict some game results just like that without making any calculations. If this happens often enough, give him the benefit of the doubt on his gambling taboo. Fortune loves risky guys, and one day she should be caught by the tail of everyone she turns to.

This question can be very tough to answer, but believe me, many people won't stop thinking of that if it happened to them, so I want to know your opinion about how you would feel if it happened to you.

How did that question become tough to answer? A scenario like that is just a normal day in sports betting. Just let it go and move on.

To avoid such a thing happening again, make sure to always be prepared at your target match. If that's not possible, let's say you are running short of your funds at risk, then you have no choice but to refrain from doing any betting even if you believe at 100% you will nail that bet.

What if the result is the other way around? Will you be thankful instead that you weren't able to place the bet?

Oh, the "what ifs?" Example: What if I bet higher at that instance where I won the highest multi-win possible?

Do remember too, the chances of winning are getting lower whenever you make a higher bet so it is going to be a tough decision. I've seen one guy who joined a roll hunt of a game called Limbo. The target number was x100000 and he hit it in less than 5 minutes. Everyone was asking why he didn't put at least a cent into the bet. Well, there goes a jackpot that is gone. But it's possible that he may not even hit it at all if there's a small bet, yes, even the smallest or just 1 satoshi.
Whatever happens, we should live with the decision we made. If we regret not betting higher for making higher profits then forget it. The ending will be different once you get greedy.

That opportunity may come again to us another day when we are ready. And for now, we don't have to regret it because everything has already happened. And it is true what @alastantiger said that we can only be prepared and take advantage of the existing opportunities to still use them.

Tomorrow or the next day, we can get that opportunity again, and if we are ready, we can get it. After getting it, we don't need to be greedy and stop immediately because if we don't, we might lose again like the previous story.

It's regrets that I'll feel if I was again in the kind of situations as it has happened to me many times, sometimes it feels like if you don't bet on that particular game that's when you'll get your prediction right and if you're not discipline, you'll be tempted to bet on every game.

As you're gambling, you have to understand that you can't bet on every game unless you want to lose more than you win, only games you're convince that you predicted correctly that you should be betting on and when you don't win them, you move on without blaming yourself.

You could have played that game that won but yet if you played it maybe they won't have won and that's just it. The games that won't win you money are always the ones we're drawn to and we think we're going to win but the games that should have won us money, we miss.

You own the pen
Honestly, this is the same when it comes to investing in some new coins where you were thinking it's just another shitcoins but then a year has passed and you see the same coin listed in the big market with a big price, you keep asking yourself why you didn't invest that time. well, the answer is, you are not destined yet to get rich and all you need to do is move on and keep chasing any opportunity right there that can change your life in a positive way but don't overdo it.

If it happens to me, I can't stop thinking of it, but definitely one day I will stop thinking about it and see it as history or not yet, my time for big wins just like how it happened to me when I lost a bet that would have given me long-term smiles.

From a psychological perspective, what happens to the gambling you do will be regretted by some gamblers.  especially, if it involves a very large nominal both from your version and from mine. The fact is, you've been through it all and you can't change anything. from your previous post, you can say it is part of greed. however from a gambling perspective there are only two options, win or lose, stop or continue. and yep, you try to bet again in the hope that you will get a win from that bet. Unfortunately, luck is not on your side. in the end, you lose everything.

Then the question is whether you can do it like that for the umpteenth time, it seems the answer is not easy. Well, now the problem is with you. are you going to ignore it, then go back to having fun, or as you said you don't gamble for fun. So, all your decisions are in your hands. well, regarding the title of this thread, I have experienced it many times. Initially, I regretted it. however, since the money I wagered was originally from a small bankroll, let's just say I was unlucky with it. After all, what we have decided has risks. So, this is how gambling works. Suppose, you manage to get that victory. Are you going to stop, I don't think so.

I also ponder about what happens if I played the game with higher amounts and lose? Sometimes it feels like a mistake, but that wasn't our lucky day. I'll accept it and follow up on the next game, instead of imaging how it should have been. The best step is to take it the way it happened, and they'll be no regrets. The choice that led to your loss or earning less is also a choice. Playing responsibly is the goal, targeting bigger wins can result to a painful loss of money that may be difficult for the player to recover.
It might be fate that you didn't participate in that game and perhaps it's for the best, Who knows? To be honest, if that were to happen to me I wouldn't be too bothered and would continue with my gambling activities.

For me, gambling is primarily for entertainment so I don't take it too seriously. Of course, I'd love to win big, but I usually challenge my friends with football games and find the most enjoyment when my bets are accurate, or at the very least when I have more correct bets than my friends. It's like friendly competition, all in good fun!:D
You would really be telling or mentioning fate's on the time that you would really be able to know the conclusion. If you do see that it win up then for sure you would be having that kind of regret,
but on the time that you see that it losses then you would really be thankful about not to be able to make bets and its fate that you do have that kind of condition on which prevents you on some losses.
Totally its really that situation if we do speak about missing out opportunities on winning up a particular bet which circumstances would really be that depending or varying on the situation on why you havent
able to make out bets on that time on which it did result on missing out those wins but of course we know that gambling doesnt only means about winning but also losing too. If ever you have seen yourself
wasnt been able to win up a bet which you had chosen up on which one who would gonna win and turns out to be right then it wouldnt really be that surprising or shocking that a certain person would be banging up
his head by his hand and telling that you should have bet earlier.  Cheesy

I think this is very disruptive behavior for all kinds of humans. I was very worried with these best in past, because I was very young and I lacked enough money. At one point I decided to not check betting odds that I won't gamble through. I don't think there are any benefits of gambling without money cause gambling itself exists so people can at least gamble properly. It can at least give you money not only joy.

It happened to me many times but not money that can change my life, One of the things that you should learn from gambling is how to let go, one of the hardest things that are hard to let go is you already won a big amount of money but you want to extend your lucky streak and by doing so you eventually lose everything you've won because you are chasing your big winning.
I agree, letting go is a must even if you're at that closest moment of your life that match you're wanting to bet has got assurance that your analysis is good and accurate but you don't have money.

Whether you've got funds or don't have, as long as you know what you're doing then don't stick to that feeling because that's hard to battle when you keep dwelling on it.

The adrenaline rush is something that is hard to keep.
True, you just have to enjoy it and even you're not be able to bet with that match, let go of it.

I'd probably just accept the circumstances and make up for it, if ever such thing ever happen again. We sometimes have the feeling of a 'winning bet' and most of the time  these are when we cannot afford losing an amount. For me it is frustration which gives us feelings of regret. But in reality, if you are really sure of it  then you'd make a way right? Then why you did not? 'coz you know how things work in gambling; risk. You are only having a strong feeling but never the guarantee of a winning bet which also scares you. Your frustration would only become bigger once the game is settled and it happened to be a winning guess  but what if the other way around happened? Would you be having the same feeling? Obviously not.
