Thank you for your decision to support our community. We need miners like you to have a robust and secure network.

In the updated wallet, we will be implementing Checkpoints - Simply put, it prevents attackers from replacing the existing chain with a different chain. So protects against transaction reversal. Checkpoints are built into the Bitcoin code and all its alts, they are defined as a block height and its hash, the Bitcoin software will only connect to chains with those checkpoints in.

Automatic Checkpointing is real-time checkpointing, rather than define them in the code they are broadcast from a node on the network. In the source code there will be a public key, only a node with a corresponding private key can send out checkpoints, that node will also need to configure a depth for the checkpoints, that is how many blocks there needs to be after a block before it is checkpointed, so a depth of 5 means that a block will be checkpointed when there are 4 confirmations for it making it 5 blocks deep from the top of the chain.

Petter Bushell is helping us in this effort, checkpoint implementation.

We will have more ANN after we fully update the wallet.

Again, Thank you for your support!

I see Yobit exchange is now frozen as of a couple of hours ago. Only open exchange now is Coingather but there is little volume and few if any buyers. I wonder if someone talked to them.

Something people need to remember with soft fork. It is the miners who have the ultimate control. If at least 50% of the hash does not move to new wallet then they have a problem. If we don't like what we are seeing we could just keep on mining with the old one. Personally I think a 10 minute block time completely screws the miners. If they can get the waulty pool to move to the new wallet the new wallet will no doubt reign supreme. Without the participation of the only pool left as far as I know, the new wallet may not succeed. Outside that pool they aren't many miners. Only a few of us have the MASS HAMMERS to Solo and remain profitable (just barely). I think I will probably move to new wallet myself despite the huge increase to block time, assuming one is ever released, hopefully it will be.

STOP FEEDING US BULLSHIT AND ANSWER these 4 questions I asked days ago.

STOP KEEPING EVERYONE IN THE DARK - OTHERWISE IT FEELS LIKE A SCAM!!!

All of us here want to know the following:

1) What will happen to HTML5Coins that were kept in wallets? Are they safe?

2) Are HTML5Coins on YoBit & other exchanges safe?

3) When will HTML5 Wallet sync?

4) What is timeline for the fix to be ready?

These have been answered, you just need to read.

1. They are safe.
2. They might be safe, depends on if the attacked coins were sent there.
3. In a couple weeks when the new wallet is released.
4. In a couple weeks when the new wallet is released.

Edited to remove insinuations of stupidity*

We have good news coming for everybody. Just give us time.

Our team is working hard on the following update: (a) Implement 10 minutes block (b) Implement 115 confirmations. Please do NOT buy or trade outside of Bleutrade ---AND--- do NOT mine until the update is done.

DO NOT TRADE HTML5 OUTSIDE OF BLEUTRADE UNTIL THE NEW WALLET IS COMPLETED. THERE IS AN ISSUE WITH THE WALLET SO IF YOU LOSE YOUR COINS THIS IS YOUR OWN STUPIDITY FOR NOT READING THE 6-7 NOTICES POSTED ABOUT THIS

I guess you will need to post / remind this over and over and forever until wallet gets fixed!!!  lol

I pmed that pool myself to let them know the developers have requested no mining be occurring until the new wallet is released. Whether they do anything or not is up to them. I don't think there any other pools left. If the developers really want mining shut down they should contact him as well.

Don't get this wrong I support moving forward with a new wallet and I am holding my coin waiting for better prices after it is released but some additional transparency about what is being changed that could result in rejected blocks in the soft fork would have a calming effect.

Mining of this coin has simply gone insane. The polish pool is now at 14.37 Gigahash and the diff is 52, that is nuts. Why don't you guys contact them and ask them to take the pool down until the new wallet is released - that would stop almost all the mining immediately. I rather suspect they would cooperate.

Will HTML5 will be on others market?
I'm not familiar with bluetrade Sad

it is on yobit, always, but i guess price will soon return to normal which is zero,
and crazy miners take a break to cool down their eggboilers lol

Thank you so much, but I still hope it will be on some trustable market like polo or bittrex.
There are many attacks on market recently Sad

RE: After the wallet update, coins under attacked will be null, turn to zero balance.

Those coins in the position of other exchanges not part of the attack are OK.

However, given with the trading so fast, there is no way to identify which one is which.

As a precautionary measure, do not buy outside of bleutrade.

Ok non of this makes sense...

I don't get it, if the coins on other exchanges are fine and not effected - why we cannot trade?

If the coins that WERE attacked are only on BlueTrade, and you're saying that attacked coins will turn to null - so are you saying that ALL BlueTrade coins will be null?? So all BlueTrade holders will loose their coins?

If not all BlueTrade coins will turn to null, rather only the ones that were attacked - then there MUST BE AWAY for devs to identify attacked coins. .. AND if that's the case why no trade outside of BlueTrade?

You are contradicting yourself. PLEASE EXPLAIN...

All is well sir. plz google what a soft fork is....also read the ann as your saying everything backwards.
