Jolly? I think I've heard that name before. hmm
I would ask how someone such as a newbie account created a few months ago is going that deep in to the historical issues of the forum and is more aware about the political ongoings of the forum rather than of Bitcoin itself (as his posts indicate).

You mean it's me?

Yes, you have the right to investigate my account, but I will ask for your promise, if there is no evidence then you must remove the neutral tag you provided. Wink

As for deadsea33, I believe this account has changed hands. If it was the original owner, he would hide because of his suspicious past and dare not complain about the neutral tag because even if he had a neutral tag, he could still join the signature campaign.

Well, the deadsea33 account has not received a negative tag but you are right he thought he was clever to create a topic about the neutral tag that hugeblack left for him. Maybe he was confident some members would come to his defence because of the threads he created to giveaway merits and build his account but that did not happen.

In the end, it was just a neutral tag therefore he had no need to create this thread. I am sure he has other accounts he is using for signature campaigns therefore he will try to be more careful when using them.

So he thinks himself very clever and created a topic here against hugeblack's decision.  But he never imagined that a bigger truth could come out and red tag his account he he

I registered in this forum in 4/25/2013 . I was regularly active in this forum till 2018. After that suddenly due to family and personal problems I could not active in the forum like before.
Ok ok I believe you are innocent. everyone is misunderstanding you  Undecided Can you answer some simple logical questions?

1. The account was registered in 2013 which is 10 years ago today.  You can access 10 year old email to reset account password.  But meanwhile the account was last used before it became inactive in 2021. As per your statement you forgot the account password set 2 years ago! How believable can it be?

2. If we believe the answer to question number 1 then what is the logic of changing your account email? Where you had email access. Or are you afraid that the real owner can reset the account by recovering the email  Huh

3. This account has never been applied to a signature campaign, it has been used for project work.  But the account woke up after a long time and started applying for the signature campaign. What is the logic of it?

4. Why did you edit the previous posts and delete the texts? What is the reason for deleting if you have done it yourself?
He cannot answer these questions because he bought or hacked the account and is claiming it as his own because no wallet has ever been used on this account.  So he might be thinking that since no wallet has been used in this account before, no one can't be asked to sign messages from any specific old wallet. So he thinks himself very clever and created a topic here against hugeblack's decision.  But he never imagined that a bigger truth could come out and red tag his account he he

Don't talk the talk, if you can't walk the walk.
I think the feedback is valid and nothing to be mad about or create a thread for, just be yourself. do what you should do. Be happy instead you still had access to your 10 year old Full Member account so you didn't need to start all over again. if you have honest intentions with time this feedback will disappear.  Smiley

Cheers!

I check your profile, it's really suspicious you changed your password, email and suddenly woke up. You were known as altcoins developer way back and there are four users trust you.

All your questions have already been All your questions have already been answered by me, you should read the whole post carefully and you will get the answer.

woke up - after being inactive for a long time, then active, it will automatically write woke up, it is normal.

real simple did you stake an address before say 2020.  if you did show the post in the address staking thread.

If not no one will be sure you lie or speak truth.

No answer will be accepted unless you refer to old good thread info.

heres why: anyone can find old unused forum account and try to hack it.

You get lucky and hack it.

You change password.

You hope no one sees you did it.

Lucky for the forum hugeblack spotted the inconsistencies with your account.

Good luck proving you own it and are the original owner.

I search you on forum and I do not have any deals I did that can help prove its you. So an old stake address is your best shot.

To be unbiased, I have known the hugeblack member for a long time, and I trust his justice. The history of previous feedback that he sent to any member before this case resulted in conclusive evidence, whether positive, negative, or neutral. As for the OP's case, Hugeblack did the right thing because what veteran members here, like @lovesmayfamilis, @YOSHIE, @holydarkness, and @JollyGood, pointed out is enough evidence to prove that Hugeblack didn't make false accusations or falsely neutral trust.

Suppose the OP can provide evidence that he is the original owner of the account by signing a message to one of the Bitcoin addresses referred to by @JeromeTash dating back to 2017. In that case, Hugeblack can reconsider his matter. Still, about that, he came back after a long time and changed the password and email and deleted the posts, and edited the titles of most of the topics to (.) upon his return; this really raises doubts.

@Vlad2Vlad can confirm whether it's the real owner or not.
So you suggest that we ask and take the word of a person (who otherwise sent 242 merits to OP) who has negative feedback mostly because of shilling for someone (scammer) else? I believe that the trust system works well in such cases.
I would ask how someone such as a newbie account created a few months ago is going that deep in to the historical issues of the forum and is more aware about the political ongoings of the forum rather than of Bitcoin itself (as his posts indicate).

This case interested me because while there's a good chance this account changed hands there's a slight chance it still belongs to the original owner.
Though it is not necessarily an indication of guilt, you would expect the one operating the account to be more active in defending his position if the accusation is false. I am looking forward to reading what they have to say if they return the forum.

I would stand with Hugeblack because he has been very active on the forum and he never add tags to a member without proper information. The whole information the members have shared in the post mostly prove that the owner is a changed person, and whatever the OP has said in the thread seems fishy to me. The good thing for OP is that the Hugeblack has left a neutral tag only, and if he can prove that he's the original owner of the account then I'm more than sure that Hugeblack will remove the tag without any question.

But, I'm quite sure that the OP won't be able to prove that his account is for real and he may not be able to come up with a proper explanation that would convince Hugeblack to remove the tag. I'm going to be following the thread and I'll on the notifications for this post because it would be very interesting to see that what kind of proofs the OP will share with us. To OP, if you are the original owner of the account then it doesn't make sense to change the e-mail and password so instantly.

Vlad (Vlad2Vlad) is a mercurial fellow who has been around for longer than myself. I think he may have been temp banned but it looks like he logged in just a couple of days ago, so I pinged him. Maybe he'll see my post. Maybe he's still temp banned, hard to say.

Farewell LEO: o_e_l_e_o
@BitcoinGirl.Club yesterday I saw your comment and wrote a long article in which I replied to all your points and I think it will be useful for the forum, Unfortunately I was unable to post it yesterday. I do not know if you deleted your reply or if it was because of what happened yesterday.

In general, I draft it in case you are interested in discussing about this topic. Smiley

Strange! How was it even possible? The following reply was deleted and it was for you. I swear I did not delete it, I did not receive a PM of moderators deleting it too? It must be deleted using direct database query and in that case I can not be the only one. I will do some investigations and in the mean time if anyone else faced this, then please update.

Anyway, I got this from my draft.

I have two reasons for this:
1) I've been trying to push him to create high quality posts, if he does and after about 2 weeks we'll have a good track posting record from which we can assess whether this account has been hacked or not.
2) He joined a signature campaign, and I was afraid that he would ask for a loan with the guarantee of that campaign payment, and I do not have enough proof, especially with @deadsea33 deleting all his previous addresses/posts.

@BitcoinGirl.Club, Aren't these reasons enough to give "neutral tag"?

Thanks for explaining your thoughts

1. I would silently wait and observe the user and after a few weeks if that would look suspicious then I would ask him in private to show some proves that the account was not changed. If he failed then I would [may be] leave a neutral if I saw a danger.

2. But he hasn't asked yet. It was again in my process of observing him. If he really made such move and ask for loan then without any further delay I would contact him asking for a proof of him not being a sold or changed account. Fail would immediately warrant a red tag from me not a note type neutral.

Without judging and using the feedback page as your note, why not truly use a note for yourself which will be private but not public not even visible for the person you are suspecting. Point is, if you are wrong then you are devaluing and disrespecting the person in front of a busy crowed.

A neutral tag would have saved your from all these investigations and evidence that is on the account that you are using.
I am sure hugeblack has his heart in the right place but this neutral is not saving OP from investigation. In fact this neutral will bring some other DT power seeker members [I don't want to tell their name] to leave more neutral/red feedback without listing anything from the OP. They never do listen. Resulting the account will be destroyed even if that was the real owner of the account.

Edit: Checked ModLog and it does not show anything for my ID which means moderators did not delete it. Neither do I. 🙄

He said they worked closely for a year. A 1 minute chat will reveal the truth.

I don't think we are going to see him in this thread again. I am just curious what kind of defense he is going to come up with.
He may be trying to find the private key to one of those addresses or one of the posts he deleted.
If he did not delete his posts, there may be evidence to support his argument.

I am fairly confident he will return here to post, I am expecting it. Without a shadow of doubt the priority for the current owner/operator of the account seems to be the signature campaign participation therefore I would not be surprised if he returned to post some incoherent ramblings while saying he has no case to answer.

hugeblack He says I hacked or bought this account. He also said that many posts have been deleted, suddenly merit distribution has been started.

Let's begin.

=============================

I broadly agree with hugeblack in the comments he left on your feedback. I do not believe the story that you gave for deleting the post history.

After reading through the thread I also have left you a neutral tag but it was very close to being a red tag (and could yet end up becoming negative trust after I further investigate especially the highly questionable ratio of merits sent and received between this deadsea33 account and a couple of others): https://bpip.org/Profile?id=106374

In future if hugeblack does remove his neutral tag, I will not remove mine unless there are exceptional circumstances and I just cannot see those happening. As for nefarious conduct including merit abuse, if that is confirmed you will receive a negative tag and if given for those reasons that also will probably not be removed unless exceptional circumstances. I will check your account history in more detail when I have time.

You should change the subject title of the thread because hugeblack did not make false accusation against you.

OP, you should blame hugeblack for giving you a neutral tag, because everyone will feel the same that took note of your recent actions in the forum. A neutral tag would have saved your from all these investigations and evidence that is on the account that you are using. Am new here and don't understand how to dig into someone's account but when I saw your acceptance into a campaign yesterday,I was amazed of the number of merits that you have and immediately I checked your profile then I saw that the account was registered 2013,then I relaxed my thought. Is funny to see that what I was thinking was already noticed by other forum members. Seeing this your thread brought back my thought.

Some suspicions about your account just happened - maybe after this thread create:

@PytagoraZ seems to have another trick to draw attention to your account instead of throwing mud at the wall. He's even obscured your username to avoid conflict - but apparently he has other ways of exposing you. Oh no - I also have my suspicions about your activity, this has raised questions in my brain as to why you deleted so many of those posts.

I think you are quite observant my friend

I'm also surprised he actually opened a thread here. I think he is someone who is hiding and I have no proof because I don't know how to view deleted posts. I respected him because there was no proof so I closed his account name while making the post. But instead he created his own problems by posting in this hellish thread Cheesy

While your family and personal problems may explain your lack of activity on the forum, they cannot explain the drastic deterioration in your English language proficiency. What happened to your literacy skills? And why did you delete most of your old forum posts?
I wanted to check that alleged deterioration myself and went through the hassle of un-ignoring a bunch of sections but I can't see any of OP's older posts that he didn't delete and which had better English skills than he's displaying at present.

For an apparent altcoin developer, I find this post of his from this year to be extremely curious to say the least:

I personally love cats. I currently have 3 cats.

And that looks like it's just the second post he made since his break that started in 2017.  His big, thoughtul and profound, "I'm back on bitcointalk, boys!" post was this:

Only bitcoin
I'm seriously thinking our man deadsea33 is oozing shit from every pore and orifice in his body, and I'm just a few seconds away from whipping out the oversized can of red spray paint and tagging him.  I've got to think about it first, though.

Of course it would help if he'd reply with a signed address or some other supporting evidence that his account isn't hacked or purchased.  How much y'all wanna bet neither of those things is forthcoming?

I am not  an expert in account digging but I strongly believe that from above information they passed through your account it shows that this account is hacked or either bought account coupled with the malicious activity of deleting your post and again with merits sharing shows that something is wrong somewhere.
There was a post you created and I watch, it was from then I noticed this account was likely bought or changed hand.
