HI folks I'm new with POS
after I sync my hyp wallet is there something particular I have to do in order to start staking or is it automatic, also how long I have to wait for my conis to get mature?
Thank you

Hi and welcome in the POS world! Cheesy
With HYP, you just need to unlock your wallet for POS when your coins are mature (which occurs after 8.80 days). You will have to keep your HYP wallet as much as possible online when your coins are mature because the staking process is a kind of lottery Smiley
Also, you can use the calculator included in your wallet to determine what is the best block size for you (some prefer bigger blocks and some smaller blocks but that's a looooong debate!)
Have fun anyway! Wink

Thank you.
8 days!?!? wow long time!
Where is the calculator in the wallet and how can I choose between small or big blocks?

Tools -> Stake Calculator

and

Thats open to debate. iDunkeists would say that more numerous but smaller blocks are better because it increases your chance of a uncapped stake. Whereas presstabbers would say larger for faster capped stakes but a better compounded return. If you go through this thread there is a lot of discussion about both ways.

I am an iDunkeist with  my average block size at 2k ish.

Thank you for your reply

But I didn't get how can I say to my wallet to mine big or small block, where I have to click and how.... Sorry for my stupid questions

Can someone help me understand this transaction as it has been 0 confirmations for nearly 3 days.

Status: 0/unconfirmed
Date: 9/3/2015 12:30
Debit: 0.00 HYP
Net amount: -4902.912578 HYP
Transaction ID: 6fd8cbdd5e541202ba4f1c9576f246e62f6f82ecdd80e76cf726dc5689460dcc

Generated coins must mature 50 blocks before they can be spent. When you generated this block, it was broadcast to the network to be added to the block chain. If it fails to get into the chain, its state will change to "not accepted" and it won't be spendable. This may occasionally happen if another node generates a block within a few seconds of yours.

And just added richlist names to some other areas of the explorer. Now its much easier to see who is staking Cool

Woot I got 2 stakes!!   Grin

More awesome work Presstab.  You have really evolved what a block explorer can be.

I am working on adding some more address analytics to the explorer. And damn am I glad HYP trades on poloniex. Their API allowed me to grab the average weighted price for each day since HYP began trading. Then chart that vs the balance of my top address makes for a fun chart Cool

Will probably be a bit until I get this added to the explorer for everyones use. But I am working on it Wink

This visual would be great if you could get it running against Cryptsy's API. Great work on all your block explorers.

The pricing information is drawn from poloniex's api which has a much more robust data set than cryptsy. I don't believe cryptsy's trade history api is complete. Also its worth noting that the majority of volume over HYP's life took place on poloniex, its only after poloniex added name verifications that trading moved to cryptsy. So this data is very accurate.

I would also like to get a normal price history chart up, market cap, etc, so we can see all of these things in one place instead of bouncing around from site to site. Thanks for the positive feedback!

if someone doesn't choose an exchange, it's a problem of an exchange, not a coin. sure if it isn't the only one

I added some filtering features to the charts on presstab.pw block explorer. I am trying to make it easier to see the trends in the chain while filtering out some of the outliers and such.

Yeah, I prefer Cryptsy, but thats does suck a little bit... Sometimes you can get some good deals there..
