I've got this error (compiling from source, Ubuntu 14.04)

The wallet otherwise works well. I'll see if it can automatically transfer 25% to Poloniex or if I have these S4C issues again.

Also: deleting addresses on the addressbook still doesn't work. I know you are aware of it, so just mentionning.

A feature request: render "custom change address" inactive when "return change" is checked. I know that you might want to exceptionally use a custom change address and so it would override the "return change" but this might cause more confusion than the flexibility allows.
I think there is a CSS3 :window-inactive, as well :disabled pseudo-class, might help.

Also, it seems there is a major bug here

http://imgur.com/a/67gK3#0

The age issue was fixed with repairing the wallet, but not the rest.

I reopened the wallet with 1.0.6 and everything went fine, I could reorder the block as expected. When I reopened the wallet in 1.0.7, the reordered block were still reordered but the warning about the errors in wallet.dat still resurfaced. It seems I will have to use 1.0.6 to use control until this get fixed. My next move will be to test S4C with 1.0.7. If it doesn't work, I will consider opening two sessions of HyperStake (with different ports) and slowly moving my coins to another wallet (it could take two weeks to happen).

Great job  Wink
PS Why only Hyperblue theme works? I tried to keep only one theme in themes dir ,sense every theme separately and seems that only hyperblue is working..

Thats odd, on my two desktops (win 7 64 bit), and my laptop (win 8 64 bit), everything works fine. Maybe some of our themers might have a better idea.

Please be more precise with "only hyperblue is working".

Do you get the other themes listed in the themes menu ?
If so, does selecting them change anything (ie, only parts change) ?
If not, have you made sure the directories for those are in the themes directory where the binary is (ie, you might be running another binary, IIRC the binary is now in a release subdirectory)
Are there any errors on the terminal when you select one of the other themes ?
If so, what are they (copy/paste exact messages) ?

HyperStake v1.0.7 - Not Mandatory, but Lots Of New Features
https://github.com/presstab/HyperStake/releases/tag/v1.0.7

For updated themes, please replace your themes folder. And make sure it is located in the same place as your hyperstake-qt.exe

Since the last beta release the following has been added or changed:
- 3 new themes - magma, celestial, and bluelights
- exportdifficulty RPC call, allows you to export each blocks difficulty to a spreadsheet
- checkbox added to sendcoinsdailog to allow you to return change to your sending address
- add "split block" which allows easy resizing of blocks
- raise threshold so that stakes only split on larger blocks
- add weight to getstaketx RPC call
- fix and update stake for charity

New items that were included in the last beta releases
- Poloniex day and night themes
- Improved syncing to be about 3 times faster
- Improved syncing to not get hung up on certain blocks as long
- add stake time estimate per block in coin control
- change stake estimate to be a time range
- add stake calculator
- add custom change address ability for stake for charity
- change coin control dates to be derived from blockchain

iantunc, keep us in touch with HyperDeck.

It is already modeled and now in the publishing phase, but I'm stuck trying to run not so stable Unity 5 early beta which supports WebGL (it's kinda revolution, so I think it worth the time).

I don't really care about what the price is at, preferably lower but stability is much more important as many people have stated. ^

Presstab how about what sharecoin do? They have a multipool which dumps their coins for sharecoin, thus pushing up the prices for HYP. Just a thought.

I added a new page on the Wikia: First links The goal is to paste the content (or even just the link) after a discussion on HyperStake.

I also added a "Testimonies" section http://hyperstake.wikia.com/wiki/Promoting_HyperStake#Testimonies

iantunc, keep us in touch with HyperDeck.

Anarchy is not chaos.

No, we don't.

Smile and say "thank you!"

Google Phineas Taylor Barnum. There is no such thing as bad publicity.

I agree and disagree simultaneously.
These words are often said by showmen, and they are true for showmen. But if, for example, a doctor will become well known after some public person will call him a bad specialist, he will probably lose all his clients if he won't prove the opposite. "Thank you" is also a response Smiley But in some cases it can bee too weak, it can simply be flooded with torrents of libeling messages and lost within them. A brand consists not only of an awareness component, but also of a set of associations. It's especially important to remember when we are speaking about newbees whose mind is open to any manipulation.

I concede your point. However, I object to "retaliatory" as it implies that something is wrong on the side retaliating. Demonstrating point by point why the black PR is wrong, showing associations, etc, that can be of use. But straight up retaliating, smearing them as it were, makes it seem as if they hold the high ground. Troll bashing is fun, but can take a lot of time better spent elsewhere.

HyperShield looks great. Putting up massive buy walls will help secure a nice stable price. You should do it for the opposite as well for selling. The community should pick a sell and buy price for everyone to use so we have a close and big buy and sell wall to stop the proce moving thus keeping the prices stable.

OK, I added my bit to the buy support on Polo. Let the next dump begin - I'll catch the coins!

Dang, I missed the dump on Polo.
I have a long-time buy order on another exchange,
it should have been on Polo - it would have been fulfilled right away and I would have had many more HYP in my wallet.
I think I am going to set a buy order there now, just in case someone wants to dump again...

I like HyperShield as well and consider it high priority, much more then Hyperbank or tip bots.
Being able to set up buy or sell walls in order to keep price stable as much as possible and in the process protect your users and hopefully make life harder for pump and dumpers.
But when I had a chat with Press he did not seem to like that idea...

The idea of the HyperShield.
It can be combined with the Hyperpool.
With BTC you buy a share in a HyperPool and the HYP is then reserved for you for the actual marked price.
The BTC go to exchange and an order is made but maybe not filled yet.
The BTC share in de HyperPool pays each 9 days the stake share.
When the exchange rate is going down the order can be filled and you get your HYP cheap.
Glad to see more and more people interested in HyperShield. Setting it up will then be my next priority, after the HyperLoan.

I am all about synergy, so I will consider a synergy with HyperPool, but I am more reserved about reserving at a given price.

Even if there will exist few whales who dump regularly, when the diff rises, they will stake and dump less and less.
Sell 25% of your stacking to BTC (StakeHunter pledge) or to XMR (Latapie pledge). In both cases, Hypersend helps a lot.
Do it no matter the price, so that you will quit caring about it. Of course you will get less HYP and less BTC/XMR. But you will gain peace of mind.
And you will never dump.

As to black PR, we need some retaliatory actions.

Anarchy is not chaos.
Any thoughts on what the bottom might be? 0.000025?

1 sat. Who knows. Its murder. Sad

The bottom will form in the point where the majority of stakers will decide that it is more advantageous not to dump right now but compound for future. Even if there will exist few whales who dump regularly, when the diff rises, they will stake and dump less and less.

As to the ups and downs of exchanges, that's normal. No big deal. This coin's ultimate numbers are going to be huge. It's likely over time that the per unit price will NOT be very large, but the number of coins will conpensate. That is what I've thought from the beginning. Frankly, I would be fine with it being around 300 sats, as I have no incentive to dump at that range, and would think others would feel the same. Just a steady feed into the market of a small percentage of my stake, while allowing that pile to grow larger and larger. So while my percentage will probably be the same, the number that represents continues to grow larger. "fast" minting requires large amounts of coin, and the only way to get large amounts of coin is to NOT sell, so this creates a fairly good "bottom" to the market. At the moment, I've only sold once, during a personal emergency. I made a five bagger on that and still held close to half my position. That was at 1800 sats, and a while back.

I'm not an admirer of Milton's economic strategies in the world at large, but some of his ideas apply very directly to the workings of THIS coin, and are probably valid.
